The virtual assistance is disgusting. I put in a refill request through it and never heard back. After several days of waiting, I tried to get through to the pharmacy but your only option is to leave a message and they will get back to you "within an hour". That wouldn't work for me, so I called back and told the virtual thing that I wanted to speak to the cashier in the store. She transferred me to the pharmacy. This is a review for the pharmacist only. Her name is Elvira and she is the RUDEST, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL pharmacist I have ever come across. I work for a medical facility and our nurses including myself frequently come to pick up medications here for our patients. I'm not exaggerating when I say EVERY single interaction we've all had with this horrible pharmacist has been very negative. Whenever we pick up meds she always acts like she's being bothered. Each time you ask a question her replies are sarcastic, rude, and snappy. When you tell her you have a second pickup, she rolls her eyes, says "Ugh!!" and stomps away. Is she serious? Once I picked up a medication I said is it okay to pay for a bag of candy here (so I don't have to pay twice in the front)? Again, huge attitude. All of our staff at work talk about our horrible experiences with her so when one of us picks up medication, we dread going because we hate dealing with her. Let me be clear that everyone else at the pharmacy is very nice. The last straw was when I called to check if a medication is ready for pickup and she yelled at me and slammed the phone in my face. I finally decided to call and report her to corporate. Enough is enough. We've made many excuses for her behavior (maybe she's tired, maybe she's having a bad day, maybe she's going through something) but it's been 1.5 years that we've been putting up with her. I spoke to a female employee on the phone that was snarky and rude. Her English was poor, at best. The attitude, however, was strong. Thank God for Elvira! She was knowledgeable, kind and helpful when I had a consultation for meds I have never taken. Even though it was busy and "Hugo" was not able to deal with the pressure, she took time to assist me. Not even 1 star!! I needed to buy a LD pre-paid card and I asked the attendant if he could help me check se one bc I had never bought one before. He was quick to pull one out of the stand and I paid d $20. I went home and called the company customer service on the card to ask how to use it. They said d that to use the card I had to buy another perfect dress Ct bc this card did not work unless I'm their customer for LD. They told me to go back to CVS and ask them to refund me since I had not used the card and the Pin No was not scratched off. CVS has refused to refund me and the manager was very rude saying that this is his policy. I called the card company and they would refund me if I had bought the card through them directly! DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY!! For about at least the past year my prescriptions have not been ready at the promised time. I always give them at least 2 to 2.5 hours to fill the prescriptions, but they are NEVER ready when I get there. They tell me that it will be another 10 minutes. However it is usually at least another 15 minutes. I ask what the problem is that they can't get my prescriptions ready on time with 2 to 2.5 hours notice and I get a shrug. I used to come here all the time, until I was accused of stealing shampoo! I walked in and was on the phone, had my basket, was looking at shampoos, makeup, and just taking my sweet time. I then was approached by an employee saying she wanted to check my purse. I asked, why and she said that they saw something on the camera. I was confused, but said, ok. I had nothing to hide. It is a tiny bit sketchy as a store. I know it is older, but it needs a remodel. I actually think it is bigger than most other CVS stores, but it was just dark and seemed not clean. Let's start with the pros shall we: Considering I live less than a mile away, this is perfect out of pure convenience. I also take full advantage of their rewards program, and I almost always have extra bucks or a coupon to use. I'm here on the regular for makeup, cause I'm a drugstore kinda girl. Also, I must say customer service has greatly improved here. Unfortunately my biggest pet peeve here is no one does any restocking. Sometimes I will come in for 5 or 6 items and only be able to get 1 or 2 because the shelves are empty. Every other cvs I have been to is usually completely stocked! It's a bit ridiculous to see rows up empty spaces. I also hate the amount of homeless people that hang out outside. They usually are asking guests for money or booze from inside. The pharmacy here is atrocious! Avoid at all costs. I cannot believe how consistently understaffed they are it's literally an embarrassment to such a well known corporation. They are also frequently out of medications which also speaks to their purchasing incompetency. Today I was told there was a 30 min wait, after 40 they said it's almost ready, finally after an HOUR I said I had to go get my kids from school and as I was walking out they paged me to say that my script was ONE day expired. Requested a refill last week and I'm told over the weekend that they have issues with the prescription and insurance. They tell me to call my doctor to clarify the refill so I do. Nothing gets done. Follow up the next day and they tell me that the doctor's office never called or sent the new information (odd because this has never happened before, they are usually on top of everything). Call the doctor again and I'm reassured that they made the necessary corrections and sent it to the pharmacy. Call the pharmacy and they still claim that the doctor didn't send them anything. Another freaking day goes by between waiting for call backs and CVS having me on hold for a freaking decade. Next day the doctor's office makes sure to call the pharmacist directly to correct it and have my prescription filled ASAP since it's related to my pregnancy. I call the pharmacy and they ASSURE ME that it's been solved and that they are filling my prescription. Then when we go to pick up the medication they say they couldn't fill it because the issue was never resolved. I've been dealing with you for 3 freaking days without my medication that's for the well-being of my unborn child. F you guys. If you had at least not told me that the issue was resolved, I would have been able to call the doctor's office again and get things sorted but you had to lie and now it's another night without my medication. I stopped in to buy about 6 six-packs of Glucerna and looked around for a shopping cart since I'm disabled and walk with a cane. A worker was near the front entrance and asked if I could help so I asked about a shopping cart. I was told they have none since "they always take them". I said, "Well, I guess I can't shop here" and the employee said, "Sorry, have a good day". Now I can understand the issue about the shopping carts, although they could invest in the kind that lock beyond a certain distance. However, I'm writing this because there was no effort to help me, no offer of assistance. The employee could have asked what I needed and perhaps offered to carry it for me. If the store is too understaffed for that, she still should have inquired and let me know, if she indeed could not leave the inside of the front door, then explained that. This review is about the store not pharmacy. I come in here from time to time to grab misc items. It's not my favorite CVS because sometimes there are sketchy people outside and it feels a bit unsafe, not well lit. I bought some candy gift items to ship out with my Xmas gifts. I ended up keeping one of them and it tasted weird. I looked at the use by date and it was 12/31/22 - which is 1 week after I purchased it. This bothered me since I had given some of these as gifts, and people probably thought I gave them old candy I already had. Nevertheless, I went in to replace just the one I had. The cashier was not nice at all about it, and really gave me a hard time. Honestly, she acted like it was my fault, and that it was not expired so I should still keep it. She finally agreed to let me grab a replacement, and the two on the shelf had expiration dates of 8/31/22 and 7/31/23. I took the valid one but showed her they are selling old expired products. She was still rude and seemed annoyed about it. All I ask is that you own it and fix the issue without making it awkward for me. I will never shop at this store again. Let me start that I only come to the pharmacy out of convenience only as the service really suck specially when picking up medication! Why do i keep coming here? Well because there are no close or remotely close pharmacies around for such a populated. The service is way is sub par: -The pharmacy techs barely and sometimes do not greet when dropping off prescription -when picking up the wait is a good 15 min if there are 2 people ahead if there is a bigger line the wait time gets to double -the copay is much cheaper at Costco for same prescription and same dosages ( that shows you how much they rip us off) . Too bad Costco is a bad far -the pharmacy person "Tina" is rude , slow and needs a lesson in customer service. Im there once every 2 weeks and it takes her over a minute to look up my info with DOB provided each time and full name. She is always over chewing gum every time. I love this CVS! My favorite, they always have my back when it comes to refills. They go above and beyond for you to get you everything the right way. I wish these guys were closer to my house. I live next to a 24hr cvs and I hate it because the staff is incredibly stupid and rude everytime. Totally different to this one. The lady's all know I'm there to refill or pick up. I like this store as its always a store you can go into and find something for that persons Birthday Gift that you happened to forget. Honestly I go here ALL the time. Today was the worst experience!!! I always use my $3 off rewards and when I went to use it they kept telling me MY number was wrong. How can my number be wrong if it's the only one I've used for YEARS. Then she continued to tell me that since I got the $3 off from the pharmacy I can only purchase my items at their desk instead of the front???? Moving forward I go to the pharmacy... he tells me THE SAME THING. I work at sprouts so I know all about customer service & if there was ANY problem we would accommodate with anything. Shit we even let people return things that are HALF eaten. You know why??? Because in the the work world the CUSTOMER is always right. I'm only 19 & all of these people were way older & had no common courtesy. Now I'm not broke & I didn't need the $3 off that bad but if they are the ones who gave me the coupon on my receipt why wouldn't I use it? This CVS is never overcrowded. What I like about all CVS's in general is the coupons that seem to print on most of my receipts! $5 off a purchase of $15 or more is incentive for me! She then showed him a bottle of iron supplement and stated that it should work the same. I always get potassium gluconate OTC. I called the pharmacy later to advise pharmacist Cathy that she was wrong. Instead of saying sorry or thank you she just said OK and hung up.Be careful when you get your prescriptions filled at this pharmacy.
