When I arrived I was greeted immediately in a friendly manner. The person at the cashier was knowledgeable about the covid shot and answered all of my questions cheerfully. I was given a comfortable place to sit and the shot was administered within minutes. While I was waiting after the shot a number of people entered the store, each was greeted immediately and served quickly. There was one customer in particular who was being somewhat difficult by changing their mind many times, the person serving was not rattled at all and treated this person with the utmost respect. Based on my experience, I will be using this pharmacy as my regular hence forward. Lastly the parking lot always had lots of empty spots which is nice.

So, I had a prescription of Iron medicine for my Kid. They provided an over-the-counter medicine charging me more than 3 times than its available on Target/Walmart/Amazon. It was not a generic / Custom medicine. Market price is around $8 and I was charged $31 for the same brand and quantity. That huge was the difference. When I understood the issue, I went back next day with the bottle (not opened and sealed and they didn't agree to take it back. If it was a custom created medicine, I would have agreed but it was just a standard medicine. Pharmacies do have a policy to not take medicines back but it's not applicable for over-the-counter ones. Sorry Colonia, I am not going to recommend you to anyone anymore.

Since my last review was deleted, here I go, again…read more.. Within the past year, Moribotos is under new ownership &, lets just say, I wasn't the happiest customer once this happened. Prescriptions I had been getting for 7 years, every 30 days, now weren't able to be filled the same day. Why? Well, last month I had to call the insurance company/dr office myself bcuz I was told I was unable to fill 1 of my prescriptions, (& not having this particular prescription would inevitably put me in the ER within a few days, & a pharmacist should be 100% aware of this/was aware, since I told him that && I was also leaving for vacation), so I HAD to get this done. (Mind you, ea time I went into the pharmacy, it wasn't PACKED - he was on his cell). He told me to make the calls/aka - do his job, (which the woman from my insurance company told me). After my 2nd call to the insurance company (approx 3min total on the phone/the amnt of time it would've taken the pharmacist here to do it), they told me my prescriptions were ready TWO DAYS AGO! Knowing I was supposed to leave for vacation (& knowing I had told Mike MANY times, I was LIVID!) Not only did he screw up ALL my medications somehow, but NOW, he made me miss 2 days of my vacation & $1500 for accomodations on my vaca (which I also told him), cuz ya can't cancel day of! -- so, knowing ALL of this didn't need to happen, & it was 100% the fault of the pharmacist made me soo angry! Incompetence is the 1 thing I CANT stand! Especially when dealing with someone's medication! Needless to say, I've just switched pharmacies today & GUESS WHAT?! - I CAN FILL ALL OF MY PRESCRIPTIONS THE SAME DAY! Thus proving the Pharmacist's incompetence. & while I did curse him out, he 100% deserved it! He made me lose $1500!! I TRIED to stay bcuz the location is ideal, but it caused me SOO much stress that my Doctor suggested I switch pharmacies, especially after hearing that I was receiving some 2 weeks apart from my other medications, & he knows they're meant to be given on the SAME DAY! - it's common sense! Yes, this is an individual incident; however, it took a bit for my prescriptions to end up THAT far apart--AND he would ask me to go in (cuz whenever I couldn't fill my medication when due; I got stressed/anxious, like anyone would if they NEEDED their medication, & who doesn't NEED their medication?!); & explain in further (or so he thought), detail as to why I couldn't get them. So, he not only made me go there for no reason, but made me go to slowly tell me the same thing he told me on the phone! Why waste someone's time like that?! The women who work there are so nice, & this review is only based on the pharmacist, Mike (just so i don't throw people this review isn't about under the bus) & don't delete this 1 - this is my review, I stand by my review - I just wish I wrote it sooner & escaped what the pharmacy has become before I let it get me THIS angry/upset

Take Care Pharmacy was recommended by employee of another local business (Elmora Healthcare) as place to get walk-in PCR test as opposed to drive-up since I had no car. On same afternoon arrived at Take Care Pharmacy and young female employee so graciously assisted me with setting up an online account with the Lab pharmacy partnered with, explained the self administered collection process. Not much different from process used in Covid home testing kits. Unlike nearby CVS on Westfield Ave in Elizabeth, Take Care is a locally owned business with great customer service. Also noted that this business has wide range of vitamins, supplements and other items for same. Will be back to check out what is on offer. P.S.: Take Care is located in the mini mall fronted by 7-11 on Elmora Ave in which Sakura, Wingstop, Dollar General, T-Mobile, a beauty supply, a nail salon, farmers market, etc. are located. Best of all, my favorite spot for cold or hot drinks, Dunkin Donuts, anchors this mall. Have been living in Elmora neighborhood since 1997. Love it!
