We wanted to acknowledge what an awesome pharmacy department is at this store. Robert, a pharmacist, goes above and beyond for all their clients. Our son has a condition that requires daily medication that is not very common and not easy to access, and Robert has always be patient and great on follow-through, keeping us appraised of the status of our prescriptions. OMG!! Not only there is no one at the register to help!! It was myself(I got there first) and 2 other customers came right after me, we were waiting for 5 minutes(more for me, since I was waiting already) & when finally one of the customers went looking for someone..., some man finally approaches the cash register area...he took his time, walking slowwwwwwwly(no he is not injured...because when he was done...he walked quite fast and said he is off for the day to the other lady, who normally is the cashier there). AND when I gave the man my name(first and last) he wasn't listening & took forever to find my pictures and he said oh, your picture is under this name(my last name), I told him...Yeh..I gave you my full name. I was only there to pick up pictures and I didn't get out of there till approx. 20 minutes later. Also they have another man that works on Monday mornings, he's never friendly either. I've been here a few times, but I just never reviewed this place, because ...usually there is a nice lady that is always there ready to help, so I figured okay...but she's not here today. And since I am reviewing this place now, I figured I add the comment on the man on Mondays too, because it was not just a "One-time" thing when he was rude, maybe he was having a bad day...No...he is always rude and not friendly(that is why I try going on other days, when the nice lady is working...I wish I know her name, but she is the only nice one, she usually has her hair up, no glasses) So the one star is for today's customer service. The store itself I give it about 3.5...it is organized & clean. Not sure if this is a tip or not...but just to let you know...coupons will not work if the item is on sale. The pharmacist with black hair, brown eyes, Jones, I think his name, has absolutely no manners. He is rude and arrogant! There was a mistake on his end, and he was trying to point fingers, blame shift instead of helping. They misspelled my last name, and he said, "Why didn't you check it?" Saying it was my fault. The computers are behind the counter, behind protective glass, not visible/rotated towards the customer. The man has no logic. Extremely rude and unprofessional. I went in for a quick passport photo processing in one of their self-serve photo kiosk around 1 p.m. today and asked the cashier if she can cut the photos to size and her reply was that they only do it for passport photos they take. Glad i came here to pick up my prescription that i am completely out of today and they closed early.......coooool. I understand there's a curfew put into place but that's 3 hours away.... Again, how the FUCK excuse my language, but how the fuck are my prescriptions NEVER available when they say they are?! Went to urgent care, they sent it through. Got here and it's not even processed yet. WHAT THE FUCK. Truly the worst minute clinic ever I had great experiences in the past but went in for my TB test and the PA literally denied giving me the tb test. Some background, if your insurance doesn't cover the vaccine you can pay out of pocket, she literally mentioned that before I walked in and I agreed, once I walked in and she all of a sudden had a change of heart and declined to give me the TB test. This is the WORST CVS I've EVER dealt with on multiple occasions(done with taking chances). I went to urgent care today because I threw my neck out randomly and they sent my prescription to this CVS. We came here and already the lady at pick-up was arguing being super impatient with a senior citizen. After, they told me my prescription would take 30 min...fine. So then we left, came back, saw them argue with another senior citizen, stood in line again, for them to say 5 more minutes...THEN have a lady come out just to tell us that they didn't have my prescriptions AT ALL!!!! Why couldn't you guys just say that the first time instead waste our time while my neck was killing me?! You have my number on file etc etc. could've been avoided..now I'm on hold on the phone right after they picked up the phone and hung up right away after "hello". I wish I could give zero stars. They are the worst pharmacy to which I've ever been. They'll keep you on hold for 45-80 minutes. And sometimes, they'll just hang up. But, I'm guessing that their phone answer times are tracked, because every time I call, someone picks up the phone within a minute, and puts it back on hold, so, to whatever system that is tracking their times, it appears as though they've answered the call within a minute. I once had a woman pharmacist at night tell me that she didn't have anymore of my Dexcom sensors, even though I'd received a text that my Rx was ready to be picked up. She insisted that they didn't have any. I said, "Look behind you! There's literally 8 boxes on that shelf!" She turned around and said, "Oh. Okay. Go wait. You'll get a text when it's ready." I had already gotten a text that it was ready. One night, I was driving on my way back from Vegas, I'd requested to refill a Rx a week ago, and tried to follow up three days earlier, and was hung up on after being on hold for 28 minutes. No answer. Just pick up and hung up. I called when I left Vegas, was on hold for 48 minutes, hung up on. So I drove for a while, called back, was back on hold until I arrived in Burbank. 80 minutes. When I got there; there was NO ONE IN LINE AND I WAS STILL ON HOLD. This place sucks beyond belief. read more

The pharmacy has gone down hill worse than ever. Here's why. One, they have a new system where you can't talk to someone live. You have to leave a voicemail and wait for them to call you. And, when was the last time anyone, or rather most people, went to a pharmacy and didn't have to connect with staff via live communications to secure a prescription or make sure it was charged properly to insurance? The answer is generally never. This way only helps their staff manage and does not help the consumer. Two, because it is voicemail, you better be ready by the phone for them to call you. Because they'll call back, you miss them and then you are back leaving another message on their voicemail for them to call yet again because you know no live operators in the pharmacy in this day in age sure makes sense? Also, you go through 1-2 minutes of prompt just to leave a voicemail so it wastes more of your time. Further, there is no concern for consumers. You rarely get someone there that is helpful. There is a particular pharmacist spoken about by several on here. This individual has been around over a decade with the same horrible attitude and customer service. I've complained numerous times about her, as apparently reading the reviews, others have as well. I was pretty sure I wasn't the only one. But, she's still there. When CVS is taken out by a competitor, like Amazon or name the place, I won't feel sorry for them. The only reason I am forced to do business with this awful company is because my insurance mandates it, otherwise I'd go to Walgreens out of spite though I know it isn't necessarily world's ahead of CVS. read more

This place is horrible. I gave a year, I established so my pharmacy would know me - what a joke. I had to go into then store three times with Covid to get them to get it right. Forget about them answering the phone - if you or your doctor has to get through - call 911 because you'll never get through - ever. What's even worse is after spending hours on the phone complaining about there service with 1800shopCVS, I never got a call back from a district pharmacy manager either. Terrible customer service. Scheduled an appointment for Covid and Flu vaccine a week in advance. The computer system cancelled my Covid booster shot without me touching it but kept my flu shot appointment. I called to make sure they still had me on the schedule. The person who answered the phone was kind and wanted to help me but said there was no record of my appointment but they had been having computer glitches and problems with the computer randomly cancelling people's appointments. He then asked the manager if I could still come in as I had proof I had made an appointment. The manager curtly and angrily said "no" that there were others with an appointment. This did not make sense nor was it an issue on my end. CVS computer system was glitching with a known problem. The manager should have tried to work something out. read more

Terrible service. I've been getting a prescription from this pharmacy for a couple of years. Something seems to have changed. I always paid $8 for my medication. This last time I went in and they were going to charge me $51. I was told to call my health plan. After a long phone call they confirmed that I should be charged $8. They said that if the pharmacy had looked at my past records they would see it was always $8. They told me to consider another pharmacy since they couldn't figure out why the rise in price. If not they said to have the pharmacy rerun it. Called pharmacy and had them rerun it and they told me now it was $8. When I went in to pick it up they said they had no record of my prescription and I had to go to the drop off line. The pharmacist then told me that the prescription was with Healthnet instead of Caremark even though my insurance card said the processor was Caremark and therefore the price difference. He said the contract with Caremark was no good and that if it was I would have a Caremark prescription card which I never had. He told me to call my insurance company which I told hiim I had done. Seemed to not believe anything I told him. Instead I transferred to another pharmacy which is charged me $8 without any issues. Not sure why he gave me wrong information and insisted on charging so much. Maybe trying to make more money figuring I would just give in and pay the higher amount. Such a waste of my time with 2 visits and 2 phone calls to my insurance company which by the way is CVS/Caremark which I doubled checked when on the phone. read more

They have a few problems: The deliveries are unreliable. Their communications are poor, in person and online. Twice, I ordered online and my card was charged but I did not get my order. They cancelled the prescription deliveries without notifying me. When I called, they could not tell me why it was canceled. I went to the pharmacy and waited forever, inside, where a poor sick person was coughing nonstop. Which is why I ordered delivery. The website had no record of the order that was charged to my card or the delivery cancellation. There is no customer service on the website. I think their computer and data systems are not up to modern standards. I do have to say one positive thing though, and that is the Minute clinic is great. DEATH TRAP Let's be honest, all CVS pharmacies are terrible, but this one takes the cake. Always plan on waiting no less than 45 minutes for your prescription, even if you were told it's ready. I went in twice this week. Doctor said the RX was ready for pickup. I waited OVER AN HOUR both times. They always screw something up - the co-pay amount, your insurance submission, or they only have one of your multiple prescriptions. The worst part is no one even acknowledges you. I waited at one window for 10 minutes. A woman finally came over and typed on the computer for over 5 minutes. She never made eye contact, acknowledged me, or asked what I needed. The she walked away. Multiple people will come and go and you have no idea what is going on or what is needed or if anyone is working on your RXs. I had another woman walk away with my insurance card and never came back for 20 minutes! I asked where she went or why she left and no one had any idea. It's insane. There is always a line of at least 15 people. The prescription staff is rude and unhelpful. Thank god I was never waiting for any lifesaving medication or I would have died right there in the store. Should you actually get your prescription, forget calling with a question. You'll be in hold forever and it will disconnect you multiple times. I had to call back for instructions and it took almost two hours to finally speak to someone. I'm surprised they haven't been sued out of existence. This place is a liability! read more

The pharmacy service at this location is abysmal. I had an appointment for a Covid vaccine booster at 3 pm. I arrived at the site and was immediately told by Erlinda that I didn't need to get the booster without proper inspection of my vaccine shots prior. I went to a different location and was told I could get the booster. I went back to this location due to having Moderna available only at this branch and had to wait a half hour. The kicker is the pharmacist that sent me away, Erlinda was supposed to give me the shot, but after 20 mins of waiting she just left and I had to wait for another pharmacist to give me the booster. read more

This CVS is open 24 hrs but the staff is lazy and down right stupid. Avoid at all costs. I used to come here all the time after a doc appoint to fill a prescription but it seems that after the remodel they lost their best staff and retrained in the lazy, rude and incompetent. When I came there today, after waiting for a while in a long line, I made it to the pharamcy window and gave the worker there my prescription. I also informed her that I have new insurance that I confirmed this morning and provided her the info to update in their system. She took my prescription and first bitched about my doctors hand writing then said that my insurance was invalid - and that I should pay the full price for meds and then try to deal with my insurance, then turned her back on me. I called my insurance up they confirmed that I am covered and asked to speak to the pharamcist to help them confirm my coverage. I came back to the said worker (at this point there was not one around) and she gave me a dirty look and said that she didnt want to talk to anyone. She said she wanted to go to lunch instead! I asked her to KINDLY take my phone and chat with the person so she took my phone and HUNG UP on my insurance carrier - then turned around and left !!! LUCKLY my insurance carrier call me back and then called the pharmacy to talk to the manager and confirmed my insurance. They processed my order (this is now 1 hr after I came there feeling sick!) and when I came up to pay they wouldnt release the full order becuase their computer was saying that I was buying TOO MUCH medicine with PE even though it was all prescription. I ended up having to fill half of my order then filling the remainder @ a Walgreens. To add further pains, when I came home I discovered that they forgot to fill one of my meds and just put in an empty bottle!!! HOLY CRAP! Are you KIDDING ME? I came back and had to talk with the manager to get the rest filled... It took over 4 hrs to get everything and I am never ever coming back. This place is a JOKE. read more

I felt like a crack head waiting for my next hit and they took so long to fill my order. I've gone during the week, during the afternoon, 10:30 at night. AVOID GOING HERE AT ALL COSTS. LITERALLY GO TO ANY OTHER CVS IN LOS ANGELES. If I could give 0 stars I would. There is not a single pharmacist who works here who gives a single fuck about the well-being of their clients. I have had to JUMP THROUGH HOOPS to get straight answers about any of my prescriptions, which they update online as ready for pick up and when I arrive they haven't even been processed. These people do not care how much time you need to spend here, if you're going off critical mental health medications due to their incompetence, they will make you call them, your insurance, your prescriber, and throw a fucking fit before they even consider helping you. And by that point it is ONLY to get you out of their faces. I have been to this pharmacy Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and now today (Wednesday) trying to get someone who knows what they're doing and what the CAN and CANNOT help me with. Absolute TRASH service.
