I went to minute clinic on a Sunday and was seen within 10 minutes. Katie was very professional and compassionate and prescribed me my meds to bring me relief. Once again, an employee at the pharmacy lied to me. Two separate incidents...I was told they never got my prescription and both times, my doctors verified that they sent it. Then she says, "We probably lost it." I said, "In my opinion, no prescription should ever be lost." Then she hung up on me! I called back to discuss this with the pharmacy manager but was put on hold and disconnected three times. They're not even intelligent enough to know how to use their phone system! I will never ever go back to this location and since I'm forced to do business with CVS through insurance, I'll be driving to another location that is five times further away. read more

As my check-in states, I'm having my son pick me up an asthma inhaler. Im visiting and forgot mine at home. The male pharmacist, NIMA, I spoke to minutes ago was very kind and helpful over the phone and seemed genuinely concerned at my request. I've worked in drugstore industry for most of my career and know the downfalls of this type of meds sold strictly behind the counter. ( thank you tweakers! it's ridiculous that we all have to suffer but laws are laws.) Now I hope they let my son purchase this for me. I forgot that he will have to show his drivers license and sign his life away. Stupid freaking law... I have this same issue for my allergy pills every 15 days. Ugh. But my rating is for the store and happy that even though not convenient in location, it was not to terribly far... ::: update::: Ok they're home now w/ EZ BREATHE ATOMIZER $60.00 ( damn ) was over the counter so no hassle. But my son says while NIMA, was also very helpful to him, the heavy set lady he spoke to over the phone was a rude b@&!h, and told him that they had nothing there for me, and to bring me to the EMERGENCY ROOM. I'm putting this comment aside because of the nature of his request. But I urge this employee to think, before she makes a comment like this. Had she took the time to listen to him she could have saved a lot of time and anguish for him in his panic to help me ASAP. I asked if they were really busy, and he said not at all. So no excuse for her shortness and rudeness. I actually worked at this store many years ago when it was Sav-On Drugs. Like I counseled my staff, back in the day, if you are not customer service oriented, in this area of the store particularly, GET OUT AND FIND A JOB THAT BETTER SUITS YOU! 1,2,3,4 separate times get text that prescription is ready and when I come in they say no sorry we don't have any prescriptions ready. This last time they even left me a voicemail message and called my emergency contact to say my prescription was ready, but sure enough I come in and say they don't have anything. Luckily there are tons of others places I can go. Costco, Walmat, Rite -Aid, Walgreens. I'm done here. read more

I'll second what another reviewer said. The pharmacy does a great job but the general merchandise section of the store has little to no help at all. Crappy attitude of the GM part of the store is the reason for the low rating. Instead of trying to solve a need its "we have nothing that will work." CVS in general has gone downhill,!and its picking up speed. A manager at another location said to blame the attitude on having far fewer people. This manager attributes that to ceasing tobacco products. This location has more beer, wine and liquor than a lot of liquor stores. The other night at 7:30 there were 2 people to cover the store and 6 in the pharmacy. Like the Von's in the same center, it remains open only because there are 500 senior apartments within a mile. read more

I couldn't of asked for a kinder Pharmacist to help me out in such a difficult time. He was calm, helpful knowledgeable, multitasking, taking care of his clients and was just stellar. This is not my normal pharmacy but was one of the only ones around my area that was still open. Jennifer was very kind and friendly and made my experience more enjoyable. The pharmacy was out of stock of my prescription so she called other pharmacies and even my doctor's office to make sure I had what I needed. I love that CVS is open 24 hrs! I have only had one bad experience with an employee (night manager) here. But that was a fews yrs ago. The daytime manager at the time helped me out and I never saw that night manager working there after that. I stopped in last week at about 130 a.m. after being with a relative in the ER. The manager was so helpful and friendly. I think his name was Mohamad (or something close). He really went out of his way to help me. I hope to see more employees at CVS like this! read more

Glad to see I'm not the only person who despises this place. The inside is a bit run down but the pharmacy is where I have my problem. There's always a line to pickup and I think I know why. I was in a 45 minute line last week. There were 2 people at the drop off side, helping a minuscule line of folks in comparison. There were 2 people filling in the back and 1 gal servicing the pickup side. She was slow and often time had to look in more than 2 places for people's prescriptions. Really, if it's done it will be in the area; if it's not there then it's not done - simple! If you know your store is busy...fix the schedule or hire more people! Why they are so disorganized is beyond me! So, my sons Dr. sent in a script. 10 mins. later I called them to ensure they got it and asked how long it would take to fill, she said 20 minutes. Perfect, I grabbed a Starbucks and headed over. It had been 15 minutes since I called. I went inside and was holding a 35 pound sicky in the above mentioned 45 min. line. I got to the counter and they weren't done with his med. They were waiting on the pharmacist to "verify the count". I sat down totally irritated. 15 mins went by and I got up and asked if it was done. The woman had me pay next and the others in line were fuming (don't blame them). I paid, expressed my displeasure with a phone call saying 20 minutes and now a total time allotted to them was over an hour and not even an apology, no mention of being understaffed, busy, anything - NOTHING! The pharmacist then mixes the medicine (yes a liquid, even though earlier I was told the pharm. had to verify the count...it wasn't even pills)! Still holding my feverish, coughing, cranky pile of deadweight he asked if I needed a consult. I told him if I have questions I'll read the sheet or I'll call the Dr. I don't have anymore time to waste here. Needless to say, I'll be going to Rite Aid or a different CVS entirely! Yes Mars, you can signup for the text notification but you still have to stand in line for 1/2 a day when you want to pick it up! read more

I went to pick up a prescription at this location the other day and it was going to cost me around 75 bucks. When I brought out my insurance card I was told I could not get the prescription filled at this pharmacy and would have to go to the nearest Target store CVS. So I had the prescription filled at Target for 15 dollars. read more

My Rx's are supposed to be on automatic refill. 90% of refills I have had to call in to refill. The lines are long & the pharmacy is understaffed. They run out of medication so you have to return for the rest of your Rx or they call the doctor to get a Rx for another medication. The employees are nice, hence the one star. This place is horrible. We called several prescriptions in from a vet the same weekend. These prescriptions all need to be compounded and they told us that the compounding pharmacist was in the whole weekend to get them done. Five days later, we get a call from two out of three of our clients saying that the pharmacy had never touched base with them (after they said they would). The compounding pharmacist's name is Kevin Mee and I called customer service corporate offices to complain specifically about how lazy he is. Also, they told our clients they were making the meds and they had no intention to do so. read more

Normally the service is good here and today, man was it a different story. They had no one up front at the checkout and since my husband and I had alcohol we had to wait since you can't go though the self check out with it. Then as we get to the counter our margarita mix wouldn't ring up in the system so the lady tells us "it's not for sale and to grab another one to see if the bar code would work", in a snotty way. Umm hello, you could have gone and got it! Then, he comes back with another one and she says "nope sorry, I know it sucks that it's cheaper but I can't sell you this, it's not ringing up, go grab a different kind." I'm thinking to myself why in the hell is there stuff on your shelves if it's not for sale?! Two employees where chatting away while another lady waited to be helped at the photo center, after she even asked for help they insisted someone else would help her. Not surprised to see many 1 star reviews, let me add to the list. Hispanic guy that helped me at 12:30am, thanks for being so nice and pleasantly going out of your way for me because YOU GUYS didn't have the correct signage up and because YOU didn't want to go out of your way to check it. I use to work at CVS and I work retail now, I understand the crap we have to put up with and how customers are pretty much annoying all the time, but I went out of my way to go look at a deal to make sure your company didn't get cheated on the refund I needed which still did not get fixed. I helped YOU. You were so concerned with breaking up the ad in the photo center, that you were too busy to help me get the discount I deserved. I know you probably don't want to work there and feel like you have a dead end job but with that negative attitude and matching body language, who would hire you to do anything better than what you do now? If I could give the "minus" 5 stars I would, but yelp doesn't allow that. This review is not for the pharmacy, it's for their Minute Clinic. The pharmacy is alright, long line but they didn't mess up my prescription (at least not that I know of). The Minute Clinic though, it's a completely diferent story. Idiots! (don't know if I can use that word, yelp might ban me now). I don't know how that lady became registered nurse, but she doesn't deserve it. I never took a medical class but I'm sure I know more then she does. I would rather die then go there again, because if I go she might kill me and do it veeeery painfully. Long story short. I went skiing at Mammoth, came back and I jumped in a pool. Somehow because of the change of altitude and water I perforated my ear drum and I had a ear infection. I was dizzy, couldn't hear, water inside my ear, earache the whole nine yards. This lady tells me that I'm pretty much crazy, it's nothing wrong with me, took my 69$ and send me on my way. Went to my regular doctor and I got some medication for the infection. Would never go there again. read more

This is the worst pharmacy In San Diego county. The pharmacy staff are rude and just completely unhelpful. Waited an hour for my prescription to be ready, they called my name and only had one of two perceptions ready. The woman behind the counter rolled her eyes and said they would get to it when they get to it. Twenty minutes later they finished filling the second prescription, called my name and the lady was completely bitchy about the whole deal. Maybe CVS doesn't pay their employees enough to be polite, but they could at least have a little bit of customer service. I will not return to this store, I will use another pharmacy in the future. read more

I woke up at 5:15 this morning to pick up my prescription that I was promised AFTER midnight on Aug 3. Called before hand to ensure it was ready, the woman who answered the phone (SANDRA) (Asian woman with orange hair) informed me I couldn't pick it up until 10am. I have been to this specific location countless times and I spend an enormous amount of money at both he pharmacy and he Store. The associates in the store know me well and have always treated me with respect. On the other hand this "pharmacist" was GOD AWFUL!! What the hell does 4 hours make a difference? She informed me it was a "store policy". I went onto cvs.com and NO WHERE does it state that store policy is to pick up a prescription after 10am. Again I have filled my prescriptions before at 6 o'clock in the morning on my way to work. After reading the cvs policy on their website I called Sandra back and she answered the phone with "YES"....ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I have never been so disrespected before especially by someone who is suppose to have some basic customer service skills. I immediately contacted the district and regional pharmacy manager and reported her. I work in customer service and this is unacceptable. Pharmacist or not learn how to treat PAYING customers with common courtesy. And reading previous yelp reviews, sounds like this woman is a real ray of sunshine. IMPOSSIBLE to get service in this store. I live across this street and shop here frequently, I have had to chase down employee's when the store was empty to get headphones, ink cartridges or anything else was locked up. Today was over the top and is why I am writing this review. Corporate needs to send a secret shopper to this location. Went in today to buy an energy drink, nothing more. Went to the express checkout and the kiosk said to wait for customer assistance. Waited, standing there, for nearly 7 minutes before the rudest red-head lady I have ever met in my life came waddling up and muttered under her breath "guess we will see what all the huffing and puffing is about" she scanned her card it accepted the transaction and she waddled away while saying nothing to me after I had been standing there for what seemed like an eternity. I will now drive to the gas station that has the same price as CVS that is only 15 seconds further away. GOOD JOB employee's you have successfully lost a customer. And a note to CVS if you get your Kiosk's working to where I dont have to deal with your rude employees I'll start shopping there again. Hire respectful college students not over-the-hill menopausal diabetics with a chip on their shoulder because they failed to apply themselves at a young enough age to not be working as a cashier at a CVS. read more

I ordered and paid for pictures online, and picked them up one hour later. Their website was incredibly easy to navigate (even to the internet beginner). Uploading photos was very simple. Not to mention I got 25 free pictures just for signing up! I will definately continue to use them. read more

Pharmacy service in locating perscriptions faxed in from doctor and filling them is extremely bad. With that said I've never been disappointed in getting extremely bad service. After my most recent experiences - 2 in the same week - I'm done! Two different doctors called in prescriptions (1) 3 hours prior to arriving with my sick 7 year old grandson and (2) a renewal for myself faxed/called in twice within 2 days. In both instances CVS couldn't find them. After insisting they search for them (separate occasions), then waiting another 45-60 minutes waiting for them to fill them. It is an inefficient operation. Bye-Bye. Also, this system forcing me to give at least 1 star rating, but they've earned 0 star rating. read more
