After recently changing insurance, we now pick up here. Every time I've driven through to pick up at the window, the line has been crazy long. They often have one person handling both the in-store and drive-through pickups. This is insane! Most pharmacies have several techs and a pharmacist working. One day last week the line didn't move an inch for almost 10 minutes. Fortunately, they offer delivery for a reasonable price ($3). That'll have to do for stuff we're not out of on the day they fill. It takes 2 business days, though. One other demerit: Their website does not let you send a question about a pickup (or anything else). Other pharmacies do, which saves you having to call once, fight through the phone menu, and then wait for them to call back. If they would add this to their website, it would let the employees answer the question when they can and then call you. They almost seem like they're purposely designing the work environment to drive their employees nuts. I asked the tech last night if they always make her work by herself, and she just laughed. I still can't figure out why that would be funny...lol

Considering how busy they are, the staff is always professional and efficient for me and my family. We often use the drive thru to pick up our prescriptions. It's gonna be hit and miss for how long a line there is, depending on the time of day so we try to find time before or after the late day rush. Appreciate having express pay for a quicker checkout.

When I went in to pick up the prescription there was nobody in line and about 7 employees working. I stood there waiting for somebody to help me check out for at least 8 minutes. I was the only one standing there and they ignored me. Finally when another customer walked up, 2 people came up to help both of us. I realize they were busy but why did it take another person to walk up before I got the service I needed? The young gentleman that helped me was very rude and mean. Is this really how you guys treat your customers? Wow. I will not be getting my prescriptions filled there anymore. I have always shopped in there and the store staff is great. Not so good in the prescription department. I think you should reevaluate your staff back there and give them a speech about what good customer service truly is. These days with alot of businesses shutting down, I don't think you can afford to be rude to customers.

I am so appalled at the service they provided my 86 year old FIL, who merely wanted to change from Rite Aid simply for the ease of communication. They basically told him his medication was not approved by insurance and won't be until Jan 2026, without any sort of explanation. I then asked my FIL to ask to pay cash for this this month and I will figure out when I go back to work what the issue is and they told him it would be $20 for 15 tabs. He waited for them to fill this, later being told he wouldn't be able to pick this up at all even out of pocket, again, without any explanation. At this point, he got furious and walked out, so I called Rite Aid to request a transfer. Luckily, they still had refills of his medication and was able to tell me in an instant (literally in 10 seconds) that there was a qty limit issue of 90 pills per 1 year due to it being a high risk med and that he they will send over the fax to the doctor for approval. Meanwhile they charged him $11.99 cash for 15 pills to pick up. Absolute WOW. Basically, they don't want to do their job of helping these poor elderly Korean patients with their meds. As a pharmacist, I know how much time and effort it takes to contact the insurance company. Still this is what they are being paid for and yet, they are not fulfilling their duties out of inconvenience. Makes me wonder how many more elderly patients with no medical knowledge are getting ripped off here but forced to utilize this pharmacy because they have no other choice due to communication barriers. I haven't written on Yelp for a very long time, but I decided to write this review because as a clinical pharmacist of 16 years who knows the system, this is simply wrong and I feel I have a right to let patients know of this experience from a medical professional standpoint. So children of elderly parents and caregivers, I would highly stay away from this pharmacy. Wish I can help more but this review is the best I can do.

Do not send your medication here, especially if it is vital for your health. They will deny service and intentionally wipe your record or just pretend you don't exist. Service is fast as they seem to be well staffed and very efficient on the computer when checking insurance coverage. Feels more professional then a 'drug store' with less waiting and since the prices are set by the insurance co, you are not paying a premium for better service. Re-fills are done over the phone on an automated system available 24/7; a convenient feature when you want to 'get er done' in the moment and not add another item to your 'to do' list. Bill

But other than that, staff are very nice and helpful. I even asked a complicated question about how to use a healthcard OTC card to pay for products and asked about which products were allowed and they were able to answer it for me (while other drug stores had not been able to answer this same question). Kudos to the staff for knowing the answer and being able to take me to a couple places in the store and point things out to me on regards to which products were allowed and how to identify them.
