after my surgery I needed my prescription pain meds asap because I was in pain. after explaining to the techs that I am a vet using the missions act they waited more than 2 hours to fill my meds. not only that, the techs had no idea what to do and when explaining they still had attitude. once they figured out that I was right they apologized and said now we know how to do it. never again using cvs. don't come here y'all it's a joke read more

They no longer allow there customers to use there restrooms. I really had to go while waiting for my medications and the CVS Employee (an older lady with gold blondish brown hair and black glasses) told me that I can use the restroom at Chevron. I don't know when this was implemented but that really sucks. They use to let customers use the restrooms before. read more

I thought that i would never write any reviews on Yelp but here we go. So my mom came in for a medical checkup for her CDL, the worker whoever she is, decided to be a total racist Bword. She told my mom that her English isn't good enough and she has to go somewhere else. We have done a checkup at a different CVS location about 2 years ago when her English was way worse and had no problems. This is such a scumbag move. Just because you don't want to deal with someone who you can't understand perfectly doesn't give you permission to kick them out of the store. read more

Ordered a special photo cube for a friend whose best friend died. Was really looking forward to giving this as a gift. They advertise it and said it would be ready. Not!!!! Nobody had any knowledge how to make it. I heard one customers sales said she saw that and didn't know how To make it so she left alone not telling anyone. Not caring! Pretty sad! I recommend calling first to make sure their advertising is for real. Okay the manager Corey called me back as soon as possible. She fixed everything! Well. CVS simply went down 'tye tube',, in my opinion. Apparently, they only staff their store with less than minimum personnel now and that means you have to wait until a cashier finally shows up and if you need help in photos f.e , you probably should bring a chair. Has anyone noticed the insulting price increase in their deodorant section? We all know that we had a price increase but $15.99 for a deodorant that used to be $6 a month ago? CVS would also love you to use their self check out now....of course. No employee to pay needed then, right? I get my medication filled at CBS and therefore pay attention to what's going on in there. They used to have some good sales now and then but now....I will not pay $15.99 for deodorant or $6.99 for 1 toothbrush that used to be $2.88 a month ago as well. Nobody raised my income. What makes CVS (and all other stores....) think that I can suddenly afford to pay double on most everything we all, always need? Pharmacy is pretty good and I do like that I can have my larger photos send for print there and pick it up the same day... .just remember; this store may now only have 2 employees present and if you need deodorant in a hurry, you should probably stop elsewhere. Employee, Jennie, is always very nice when I happen to show up during her shift. I am certain that CVS headquarters could do much better.....and I do not blame any store employee. Pharmacists/techs are not helpful, and have always been rude when I've had to use them when my usual Walgreens is out of stock. Have had my prescriptions filled at that location many times from OC Doctor and they refuse saying "needs manager approval" despite the fact that I've filled the same "controlled" medication many times before and always from the same doctor. Went yesterday and they said to come back today after they got their shipment. So we did. And despite them saying we can fill it tomorrow, I have to go somewhere else. Oh and nothing like being greeted by a GIANT DEAD RAT that by all looks of it was sitting in the same spot for quite some time. The drive through looks like it was pelted with shit. Needs a power washing in the worst possible way. read more

At times the staff can be helpful though there are other med techs there that are very rude and down right horrible. Making it tough for a person to even get better due to the fact that when you get a time to pick up your meds you think the medication would be ready but noooo! Making you wait as you are feeling very ill and having to be around people when you really shouldn't be. read more

I never write bad reviews but come on. The shelves are bare. Then I put my number in, no coupons show up. So I pull it up in my phone and the older man didn't understand and literally made me get out of line after 2 seconds of pulling it up. Like I had the coupon in my hand? There were 2 other cashiers and only one person in line behind me. No need for the rush. I decided to save my coupons and business for online. There is zero reason to walk into this CVS. Just called to ask a price before placing an order for a refill on my medication. Firstly she kept repeating "brand or generic", "brand or generic" then despite my having said generic in answer to her very first request her voice got louder and again she said "brand or generic!" Three Times I responded with generic! I was quoted $499.99 so I questioned that this was right as the same refill of 90 pills is only $30 - $40 at Costco last time? The 'lady' rudely tells me I'm getting 90 pills, yes that's $499.99. I exclaimed $500 to check I wasn't mis hearing $49.99? Again she spat out that I was getting 90 pills and yes it's $500!!! Should have read the other reviews before calling - I guess we won't ever be needing CVS again - snd just for info, we placed a refill at Costco for the same prescription and it's $40 ??? read more

This is by far the worst CVS I have ever been to. I've only used it a few times in a pinch, and every time, I've been disappointed. I work in OC and usually fill my scripts at the Irvine CVS, which is amazing, despite that they are always so busy. But yesterday, my doc accidental called some urgent prescriptions into this Lake Elsinore CVS. Despite that the RXs were urgent, when I called I learned that they wouldn't be filled for over 24 hours! Wtf! I spoke to the pharmacist who gave the usual excuse: "we are unusually busy." So get staffed already! Never ever again will I use this pharmacy. Get your act together, LE CVS. You suck. read more

This is an older CVS that needs a face lift, the employess are very nice & very helpful!, some days the staff is very light, but today I counted 4 employess working ..wow! it was great service! the only down fall on this store is the BUMS that hang out or sleep by the store in the early mornings or ask customers outside for xtra change. that's so not right!!! read more

Decent customer service. Although it does vary depending on the manager there and the staffing levels. The Pharmacy has excellent customer service and they genuinely care. They will help you as needed and provide you with other options is available. My only real complaint, is they need to clean drive thru walls and ceiling. It is very dirty. read more

My family has been going here for the past 15years. And it used to be great but the past year it has gotten steadily worse. The past couple of months we would have to wait for them to order our monthly medication; and one time it took a week before they received it. And today they no longer had our insurance information which hasn't changed in the past 10years. then they did not bother to let me know that they were running behind I came 3hours after the quoted time and they still hadn't got to it. read more

I dropped off a prescription on February 24th And was Told and Promised BY Pharmacist that my prescription would be READY by Friday the 26th after 4pm I WAS there at 5pm to pickup and what happened? They lost my prescription waited half an hour for them to find it and then told by Pharmacist that he didn't order the medication... And to point out medication that I need. I came in for the pharmacy, uh BIG MISTAKE! My doctor called in a prescription for me, the time, bout 9:30-10:00 am, I gave it about 15 mins. then drove to CVS to pick up my prescription. The girl behind the counter, I believe her name was Aicole but don't quote me on it, since I'm not sure I will call her Nicole, she said there was no prescription for me, and nobody had called anything. I asked her to please ask her associates maybe they knew something she didn't, Nicole looked at me as if she wanted to strangle me and explained to me in a very loud tone(line of people behind me), "if anyone had spoken to your doctor, your prescription would be in the system"; fine, since I made the mistake of leaving my cellphone home, I drove back home and called the doctor's office to give them a piece of my mind but, his nurse swears to me she did call and spoke to a Johnathan, and says she always makes sure to write times and names specially when dealing with CVS because it is an ongoing problem with their pharmacies. I dialed CVS instead of driving over there again, and good 'ol Nicole picks up again, as soon as she hears is me she cuts me off and tells me that they do not have any prescription for me, I told her Johnathan had spoken to my doctor and he should've put my prescription in, Nicole orders me to hold, I'm on hold for about fifteen minutes, Nicole comes back to the line and without any explanation says to me, "we will send you a text when your prescription is ready", really? not even a "sorry for the wait"? or something! Anywho, now the time is 4 pm and I am still waiting for my text, so I decide to drive there(by this time I am starting to really need my medicine), I see Nicole, who proceeds to tell me my prescription will not be ready for another 30 minutes, I am not going to lie, by now I am very upset. I asked to speak to someone higher than her, spoke to a Linda, she does not apologize but, reassures me my prescription will be ready in 15 mins instead of 30, whatever just get me out of this nightmare. I hear my name on the intercom, I go up to the counter and wait, and wait, .....and wait, apparently Nicole and Johnathan are not done with me, they are both carrying on over what the previous customer had been prescribed, RUKM!? come on! After she slams my prescription on the counter, after Johnathan comes up to the counter for no reason and just stands there starring at me as I'm paying, and only after Nicole says to me sarcastically,"have a nice day" as I'm walking way, my nightmare is finally over. I called the customer service hotline, that was a total waste of time, I will not go over that or I'll end up writing a small book, but in a nutshell, CVS's customer service is there to justify their employees' mistakes, to argue with "us" customers about why their employees are right and to point out our mistakes as customers. In summarizing Lake Elsinore CVS's problem with customer service, one can not avoid noticing a huge factor; "cheap labor", all around, from the minute you walk in the store, to the minute you walk out, their pharmacist, their management, total cheap labor(this does not apply to the employees at the front registers, or the guys and girls stocking the shelves, as a matter of a fact, they are way more professional, and courteous then the upper level staff mentioned above). read more
