The pharmacy staff here are great! My mom normally uses the Walmart pharmacy but they were out of stock of one of her medications. I called around to other local pharmacies I'm familiar with (CVS on 1st St, Safeway, Walgreens downtown, Walgreens Pleasanton) and none of them had this medication either. But this CVS inside Target had it! The pharmacist (Jack, I think) was super helpful in taking care of transferring the prescription, called me back after confirming the transfer was complete with no issues, and kindly reminded me it was near closing time so I wouldn't be able to pick up until the next day. When I went to pick it up, there was no hassle or fuss and all the staff just seemed so pleasant and cheerful. It felt like they truly want to help you and do all they can to make things easier. Not the case at Walgreens pharmacies I can tell you that! read more

We just recently started using this pharmacy for my fiancée and i absolutely love it, they are fast and very friendly. I have been going to CVS for a long time and always expect long wait since they are always so busy but in this one they seem to get things done at amazing time. This is for photo only. Ordered xmas cards for same day printing. Order was supposed to be ready by 12:45 but said wait for an email. I finally called at 7PM and was told "yes the order has been sitting here but no one has run it"...Ok she'll check. Comes back and tells me "we have no ink". OK next logical question will you be able to do it tomorrow. She has no idea but assures me she will find out and call me back....of course it's next day no call. So I swore off of CVS pharmacy years ago because of such crappy service that I received years ago and it left such a bad taste in my mouth that even though CVS is the closest pharmacy to my house, I gladly drove the extra 5 minutes to go Walgreens. But now my insurance requires that I go CVS to get my prescriptions...I was not happy about this move and decided to find another CVS... yup you guessed it... This CVS is about 20-30 minutes from the house based on traffic BUT the service that I received was amazing. I went there with below par expectations and they exceeded my expectations. Totally blew my mind. They told me that my prescriptions would be ready in 10 and it took just around 10 minutes. Then they asked me if I could hold off on getting my prescriptions for another day as that would allow them to be able to give me a $25 of coupon or card.... Something along those lines... And really just wait 1 day and get $25? I'm totally all over it. I'm sure we all could use $25. :) It was a very clean pharmacy and they had plenty of staff on hand to take care of requests and to greet customers. Service 5/5 ambiance 4/5... It was a tad bit cold in the decor and there wasn't much seating available so seating was limited while you wait for your medications. Other then that they made me happy to become a CVS pharmacy customer again. read more

Most pharmacies don't care at all about you but these ladies do I just lost my father two days ago and have diabetes and got a root canal a day I was hurting and they helped me clear my prescription issue and get me my insulin etc thank you this is the first time I've ever had this happen read more

I have gone to other CVS pharmacies in Livermore,, and they suck, but THIS is the jewel in the crown! Great staff. Personable and professional and extremely helpful every time! I would recommend them to everyone. And if you use the two in 1st Street, run don't walk here and move your prescriptions ASAP! This location is well managed, has proper staffing, and will call a doctor's office to get the correct prescription or work with medical staff to insure your needs are covered by your insurance. I really love Target as a store in general. It's always full of great decorating items. Prices are right on but now that CVS merged with them I am truly impressed! I really only stayed with CVS because when I started picking up my prescriptions in Danville, service was excellent but in Livermore on First Street it dropped to less than par. I was in process of changing to Target but was informed that they merged. Can I say it truly was a decision based on horrible customer service support in CVS First Street store pharmacy. Since I moved to pick up at the Livermore Target pharmacy; I am very pleased to say Targets pharmacists and techs are very professional and pleasant to work with. : ) read more

I would like to thank Target! They still price match everything as long as you have proof and the price is current. Now I have to return everything at Walmart that I bought earlier. I bought Shopkins at Walmart and asked if they would price match Toys R Us because I don't have one near my home and they said they no longer price match as of October. I asked 2 Walmart associates and they said that is correct! I bought the toys never I feared not having it for Christmas. Went to Target tonight, asked customer service if they price match and they do! Saved me $20 plus they had a coupon going on! read more

I called to transfer my dad's medications and the person who helped me, Gabriel, went above and beyond to ensure all my dads medications were sent, proactively looked for alternatives and coupons for a medication that wasn't yet approved by insurance, and removed old medications from the list. He was thorough, friendly, and extremely professional. I am guessing this is a good representation of how to is CVS is managed as a whole. I highly recommend. read more

We came here for the first time last week to drop off my prescriptions , our Doctor said this particular pharmacy is the best around! Jack signed us in and entered all of our information and was quick , efficient and really seemed like he knew what he was doing even in the hustle and bustle of a busy weekend ! Then I had a question,so I called in , and Niomi answered the phone and she acted like I was the most important person at that moment and had a cheerful voice and even though I'm sure she was very busy she took the time to confirm my prescriptions were ready and I verified that we'd be picking them up in a half hour! So far I am VERY IMPRESSED! This is after moving to a new area a year ago, getting set up with doctors and pharmacists and then being told our insurance at work is changing and we had to change everything all over again! I really like the pharmacists themselves, they're actually so, so great. One helper guy though actually gave me someone else's meds once. But anyway I'm only giving this place two stars because they never, EVER have what I need in stock!! How is that possible? Whether it's my kid's fluoride, epi-pens, or my own prescription, it doesn't matter; they don't have it. I have no idea why I continue to come here. read more

Talk about fabulous? TARGET PHARMACY RULES!!! Hong was SUCH a doll and went way above and beyond the call of duty today for me, and a few weeks ago for my son. She even remembered me from my son being ill a few weeks ago! The prices here are SO SUPERIOR too! Walgreens Pleasanton charged $32.00 for antiobiotics for my son -- Target? $8.00! Today I was quite ill and had a prescription from Kaiser Doctor that would run me $79.99 at kaiser and Walgreens. Target? $19.99!!!!!!! What can I say? He came out from behind his counter, and showed me exactly where it was. You can never go wrong with Target. The people at this pharmacy are so nice and friendly. They always know where things are, go out of their way to help, and generally always a good experience. CVS sure moved in quick to ruin a good thing. I loved using the app to refill. I also enjoyed receiving the 5% savings coupons after five prescriptions were filled. Both of those perks are now gone. For the first time since I switched to Target my refill wasn't ready on time. So disappointed CVS has bought them out. I was hoping CVS made the purchase so they could get it right. But the opposite has happened. I was informed when I logged into my Target app (which was wiped clean) that I could download the CVS app. instead I downloaded the Walgreens app. and transferred all of my prescriptions. Besides being closer to my house they offer longer hours and are open until 9pm during the week. read more
