This review is for the pharmacy. Particularly Chloe, the pharmacist there. Not for Tracy. Tracy is a Gem. Chloe on the other hand is the probably one of the worst pharmacists I've ever encountered. I've gone to this pharmacy for years. My whole family has. I've usually had no issues. Tracy, another pharmacist there is the best. She truly is super helpful and non-judgmental. Chloe on the other hand is awful and has the worst attitude. I take pain medications because I have a serious autoimmune condition plus I've had spinal fusion surgeries. As well as other spinal surgeries. I'm in excruciating pain 24/7 and I need these medications to function somewhat normally. I'm not taking fentanyl or oxycodone or anything remotely close to that. But the way Chloe treats me and makes me feel, you would think I was asking her for black tar heroin. There's already a lot of stigma and judgement from pharmacists when you have to have these prescriptions, but I've never been treated so badly to the extent as I have with Chloe. I travel back and forth to northern CA quite a bit and have a hard time enough getting my travel to align to when I'm due to pick up my prescriptions. I try not to get them earlier but sometimes that's just unavoidable. I forgot a 5 days worth of medications at my moms in northern CA while I was traveling. Chloe acted like I was this drug seeking degenerate and I left my medications behind on purpose (or I was lying) so I could get more. This was all over a measly 20 pills!! She was super rude and condescending and wouldn't let me pick up next months Rx when it was due because i "should have 5 days worth still" when I told her I left it at my moms house 8 hrs away she totally didn't believe me. You could literally feel her eyes rolling back to the back of her head. I never been so humiliated or made to feel like a drug seeker who has to grovel for my Rx in all my life. Chloe told me to wait a week, but Tracy finally filled my Rx 2 days later. But still I was without any medications for 2 days which was miserable. I've been taking the same medications at the same dose for over 10 years. I do not get a "high" off them. I'm not selling them nor hoarding them. The medications I take are what they used to give patients for a toothache but now they treat these same medications like they're fentanyl. They literally just bring the volume down of my pain so it's not so debilitating. So I can walk, and move without feeling like my legs will give out. I have intense pain in every joint in my body. Not to mention hellish back pain where I've exhausted all surgical options. I wish I didn't have to take these prescriptions at all because honestly the hassle/judgement/humiliation is barely worth it. But I have to. I can't take ibuprofen because of GI issues so I am very limited in what I can take. I've stopped going to this pharmacy and moved all my family's prescriptions as well. I will NEVER go to this pharmacy again. Neither will my family or friends. Not unless Chloe is gone permanently. I suffer enough as it is. Some mornings I can't even get out of bed by myself or even dress myself. It's a life I don't wish on anyone. I shouldn't have to endure judgment and be treated like a drug seeking junkie on top of what I already go through. I don't wish Chloe or any other judgmental pharmacist on anyone. Especially if you're in pain and need your Rx filled. Heaven forbid you lose a few and get treated like you've committed some heinous crime. And Chloe, if you're reading this... do better. Learn empathy. You might find yourself in the same situation. I pray that you do. read more

The pharmacist, Chloe, was extremely rude, impatient, and condescending during my interaction with her. Healthcare professionals should demonstrate compassion, patience, and respect when caring for patients and their families. Unfortunately, she did not exhibit any of those qualities. After reading the many similar reviews about Chloe, I realized my experience was not an isolated incident. There appears to be a consistent pattern of unprofessional and discourteous behavior toward customers. As a fellow healthcare professional, it is disappointing to see patients and family members treated this way, especially during what can already be stressful situations. My family and I have been coming to This CVS location for the past several years. Tracy has consistently been kind and courteous to us and other patrons. However, recently, we have encountered difficulties with Chloe Nguyen, the pharmacist, who has been consistently rude and dismissive whenever we inquire about our prescription. She speaks in a condescending tone and refuses to listen to our concerns, which makes us feel uncomfortable and disrespected. A few days ago, she informed us while we were inside the store that our diabetes prescription medication was not in the system. The following day, when we contacted her by phone, she confirmed that the medication was in the system but kept changing the refill date and stated that the CVS app, which we use as a guide, is inaccurate and that our insurance would not cover the prescription, which is incorrect. We contacted CVS Caremark, the company that managing our prescription, and was assured that we could refill our medication and that it would be covered by insurance. This entire experience has caused significant confusion and discomfort. Every customer deserves to be treated with kindness, professionalism, and courtesy when discussing their medications, ensuring they feel respected and understood. We kindly ask that CVS look into this matter and inform us of the measures that will be taken to address it. This place is dreadful. They just refused to fill one of three prescription ls because it's too close to close. I would have an issue with that but it got sent at the same time as two that they DID fill. She made some excuse about how the narcotics come first and whatever, which makes sense, BUT one of the two she did fill was the 10 mg version of the one she didn't. So that means the location of the pills in the pharmacy is just an excuse. Auto refill is a joke, and when I call to try and get it fixed, she tells me to call corporate, after interrupting me repeatedly, and corporate tells me they can't fix it, only she can. The routinely ignore customers waiting for long periods of time with no lines, and are in general rude and disrespectful. I'll pick that one up tomorrow and never return. read more

I would give this pharmacy 0 stars if I could. They've filled the wrong prescription for me 5 months in a row now, and every month I have to call and ask them to switch to the correct brand that's covered by my insurance. I guess after 5 months they still aren't capable of updating it in their system. The CVS app is also awful and doesn't let you view/modify/refill your prescriptions so it's basically useless. read more

She ignored me and couldn't have been less helpful and refused to make eye contact. She then told her Asst that EVERYONE WANTS EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW! Well she won't have to worry about that with me anymore as I will be transferring my prescriptions to Walgreens who actually took the time to help me. I see why this location has this low star rank. Went in to retrieve my photos and a young brown haired, girl with black glasses wearing a gray shirt was behind the counter. I asked if I could pick up my photos and she walked away and said "oh you have to ask them" she pointed to the air. Literally no one around. I said,"who should I ask?" She said, "the people in the front because I work in the back." I walked out. I usually go to Walgreens anyways. Are there customer service classes or orientation? Ok, I realize Yelp is where the disgruntled go, so I thought I would counter these reviews with a good one. I have been going to this pharmacy for quite awhile and though they are small and sometimes don't stock our needed prescription, they know us by name, remember my husband coming in to pick up my meds after I had surgery and when I could come in myself celebrated my recovery by saying "it's so good to see you back on your feet and feeling better. " I appreciate they remember their customers. I, also, had the entire family boosted here and the girl is as kind as can be. Everyone has bad days, but personally I haven't experienced one of the employees bad days but if I do I have enough good experiences that that one bad experience won't find itself on Yelp. read more

UPDATE: I received a generalized email from Chloe Nguyen, the Pharmacy Manager, thanking me for my feedback and saying, "sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations". My expectations?? Isn't it a given that all pharmacists should communicate and not repeatedly prick a 10 year old scared boy with a needle as if he was a pin cushion? She also stated, "We will coach our pharmacists to improve in certain areas". Again, isn't it common medical knowledge to know to communicate and not repeatedly prick a 10 year old scared boy with a needle as if he was a pin cushion? This shouldn't even have to be a conversation. Chloe finished the email saying, ". I would be glad to connect with you over the phone if you have additional thoughts or recommendations. Please respond with the best date, time and phone number to reach you. Thank you for your time and we hope to hear from you soon". I immediately responded to set up a date and time for her to call me, as she stated herself in her email. To no surprise, she did not call or email back. In fact, I sent 4 emails over the course of 4 days to schedule various dates and times for her to call me and absolutely nothing! Now, almost a week and a half after that last email, still nothing. Why tell me you'd be glad to connect with me but then completely ghost me? Such a disgrace and a shame! read more

Let me start by saying I used to love this pharmacy before cvs took over. I would regularly get my target discounts in the mail and the pharmacy employees were all so friendly and helpful. I have not once gotten my rewards since the switch. They have an all new staff and the last time I went to get my prescription the pharmacist actually told me to go to another pharmacy for my prescription I've been getting there for years. Horrible customer service they lied about the price of s medication i needed for my new born child that had a fever. The first person I dealt with told me when I get back to pick up my prescription itll be $1 and some change when I got back she was gone and unfortunately ended up with a very rude & disrespectful person who lied & said total is $18 which i mentioned the lady before her said it was only $1 she rudely snatched the medications & said well wait on her then I said I will no wait my newborn has a fever & I will hold u responsible for it at this point. I told her to call her coworker & to confirm the price she gave me she had the audacity to say why are u poor you can't pay $18 . I said u know what no im not poor I bought the medication & I made sure to tell her she will be poor once I make sure she looses her job & is held responsible for anything that happens to my child. I will get her name & add it on here & I will make sure the store manager is aware of this. If you can't deal with ill people & provide medications then u don't belong there. We've had nothing but problems with this CVS. They constantly call/text us several times per week, even though we cancelled the auto refills and reminders. It's almost borderline harassment at this point. We've told them to place the prescriptions on hold-twice- since we were moving out of state and they still filled them automatically. As soon as we get our prescriptions transferred up here, we're going to a different pharmacy completely. I do not recommend them to anyone. read more

There is a just a general lack of human thought process at this location. I just went in for a flu shot. So the girl taking my request takes down all my information and tells me they will text me in 15 minutes when it is ready. The text never happens and so I return to the counter to follow up. The same girl now tells me that I can't get a flu shoot for another hour because the pharmacist is on lunch. I ask wouldn't that have been something to let me know when I first came to the counter? The worst pharmacy ever!!! They should have kept the Target pharmacy. CVS is just a disaster, I've been here 3 times in the past year and there is always an issue with the staff getting my prescription ready. They fail to communicate with me if they have a question regarding my prescription and are usually out of stock of common medications. Customer service is horrible. read more

two stars because the second time I tried to get my prescription filled I spoke to a different technician who was actually helpful and informative. The evening before the pharmacist was obstructive and unhelpful, and basically said my insurance was cancelled and it was my problem. My insurance wasn't cancelled. Once upon a time, when this was a Target pharmacy, it was our choice of pharmacies. The service was excellent; they had a good stock of medications, handled prescriptions quickly, and never messed up anything. However, since CVS bought them out, the place has become a disaster. The staff if OK, but they are not nearly up to the Target staff's efficiency. At one point, my doctor ordered a 30 day prescription, which I picked up. A week later, I was emailed that my REFILL was ready to be picked up. I was in a rush, so I bought it and put it away. A week later, got another note about a refill. When I looked at it, it was the same med as I got 2 weeks ago. Looked closely at last week's bottle...the same pills. They have attempted the same ploy several times for both my wife and myself, but now we are wise to it. Other examples of horrible management include the 2 times they contacted us about an available med, but when we went to pick it up, were told they didn't have it, but they would order it. I fear that CVS has either overextended by the Target purchase, or else they know that since they own the lion's share of med service, they really don't care. read more

The bottom line in this review is stating that Target was better when it was Target pharmacy CVS Pharmacy they are very sneaky and not up front whatsoever with their prices for those of you who are in the same position as me that were with Target when Target was Target really need to pay attention to co-pays for prices or medication that was covered that wasn't paying attention and ask a lot of questions also when my medication was ready the pharmacy never bothers to give you a phone call to let you know that it's ready trust me on this one I'll possibly elaborate on this review but just the general rule of thumb is be cautious with CVS Pharmacy read more
