One star is generous. They are unreliable if you book a future appointment with them -- which I did. I booked a follow up appointment in person at this branch, yet they were out of stock and did NOT alert me. Yes, but not before driving out there in rush hour traffic only to be told 'sorry'. Who does that? Two days earlier, I got an email from CVS confirming it; who does that? For my previous appointment, I received a check-in text. OK. But also, they called me 30 minutes prior to my appointment ?? to confirm that I was coming in. That seemed a little curious, if not weird. This next time, no check-in text. No confirm call. So, I thought it best to make sure, and to call them before coming in. Brilliant idea, except CVS has now made it impossible to speak live to somebody at this branch. (Perhaps all branches. It's a new voice system) Their new robot phone-tree will not respond when you say (again and again) variations of 'I need to speak to an agent'. Though you are invited to leave a voicemail, there is no option to confirm an appointment by phone. There is not way to reply to the email from two days ago. So, again, who does this? Recapping: they ran out of the vaccine and didn't let me know before I showed up for my appointment. Their phone system refuses to allow a call for their pharmacy. Their email confirmation is worthless. I am now looking at new options for meds and vaccinations. CVS has lost my trust. Note: They officially cancelled the appointment via email after I left the store. They offered me a $4 'we're sorry' coupon. They can keep it and take my CVS Card, too.

    ### 2023 review 47/100 ### It's that time of the year....... Pro tip: do call and double check that this CVS (or anywhere you go) is *** IN- NETWORK ### with your insurance. Otherwise you would be getting a bill in the mail for a couple hundred $$ if insurance doesn't cover. Yup. That's how it goes starting this year since pandemic is "officially over" per the Gov't. Book your Covid-19 booster online on CVS website. Check in on the link sent by text when you arrive. Wait by the area with the sign "covid shots" Get your booster shot & while you're there, flu shot as well. Wait for 15 mins, per nurse instructions. Just in case you turn unto a zombie. LOL. All done. Easy peasy.

The pharmacy is the worse I've ever seen in my life. They are always closed or having system problems.

One time I was at the pharmacy and there was a Karen who cut people and the customers stood up for themselves. The pharmacy staff was tried to service her asap to get rid her. Parking for the shopping center is tough. Every parking lot with Trader Joe's is an automatic cluster----. There's always a lady asking for money in front. Not a ding on cvs but the shopping center. It's private property, so they could get shooed off. They block the sidewalk making it not ADA. It's usually the grandma or mom sitting down. I've seen the mom with her three kids and partner with guitar at the national freeway exit and the kids are all elementary-middle school. One of them has an iPad. My bf offered to buy her something and she asked for the $60 formula. So he offered if there was anything cheaper and she asked for a bathrobe. He walked away and she was complaining how he didn't buy her anything.

Wow, just had a terrible interaction right now at this store with one of the Managers. I was…read morewaiting in line to check out at register 1, which was lit up as if it were open. There was an employee three registers over working on something, so I was waiting in line until she was done. In the interim, another gentleman entered the register area and asked if I needed help. I indicated that I needed help with checkout. He then looked at the registers and said that they are all down, but that he can help me at self check out. What I came to find out is that he meant he can walk me over to the self check out register. I asked him if the registers closed at a certain time at the store. You could tell he thought that was a ridiculous question and replied (with attitude) "no, they don't close" (mind you, he just told me they were closed but not WHY). I finished up my checkout and asked him again to get clarification at which point he says WITH EVEN MORE ATTITUDE b/c he thinks my question is silly, "no they don't close at a certain time. They are closed now because the money is being counted" Hmmm, so why not say that the first time when I asked because you KNEW what I was asking but I got the impression that you thought it was ridiculous so you were just going to make me fish for an answer or not give and clarity. Sir, Self checkouts are taking away jobs! I prefer not to go to self check out because a) I don't work at the store and b) it's my preference to go to the regular registers because soooo many times the advertised discounts don't show up and so I'd just prefer to have the cashier deal with it right then and there rather than having to find an attendant and then bring them over to the self check out areas (such a waste of time). The Manager was so rude and gave such attitude, and even said, "Ma'am, I'm not gonna go back-and-forth with you." and walked away. Seriously? How rude. I asked if his manager was there at which point he said that he was one of the managers. "Really?" I asked, "and this is how you treat a customer?" (if you had heard his sarcastic responses, you would understand more of the frustration for this review.) Large companies like CVS and grocery stores are asking us to pay premium and then do our own check out plus bag all of our stuff at the end as well... People are losing their jobs as a result!! To the manager of CVS, this is the underlying concern and the reason for my question. All you needed to do was apologize from the very beginning and just let me know that the registers were down temporarily due to money being counted. More than that, it was your attitude that was the most disrespectful and dismissive. You, Sir, need to take some courses on Customer Service. 5/19/26 8:15pm CVS on the corner of Sepulveda and National, Los Angeles.

That doesn't work either. I'm not really sure what the solution is, but if you need to go here and make sure you don't need help. I did have one experience where it wasn't me. There was a woman there she had a head covering on. She didn't speak English very well, and she was trying to buy things at the front. The woman would not look her in the eye the cashier I should say she looked agitated, having to wait for the woman to give the correct card, but the woman didn't know what they were looking for. It was for extra Care bucks. I actually let her use my card and actually keep the extra Care box yourself to go buy something. The staff seem agitated and angry and really rude not to me but to this woman. I asked to speak to her manager she says you can go find him. He's over there and pointed. I said I'd like to speak to the manager here here right now I complain more for others because I can stand up for myself. Some people are more quiet or based you know if they feel like they're being discriminated against which if I was this woman that's what I would've felt especially with the hair covering and not speaking English. Well, maybe she was doing experiment I don't know, but I was upset for her. I don't think anybody should be treated with such unbelievable disrespect, and the woman was rude to me also so that was a double whammy. Just know if you know what you want you know where it's at and you don't have to speak to any staff you've got it made 100% if you do good luck.???

So I guess this cvs would rather I pee on the floor waiting for my medication instead of letting me use the restroom. While I understand some locations having these restrictions, it's very surprising to be asked to show proof of being a customer before being allowed to use the restroom, I later found the manager who's name was Alexander/Alex to ask if this was their bathroom policy because I've been to this location multiple times and have never been asked to show my receipt first to use the bathroom, he let me know that their restroom is not a "public restroom" and the policy was correct. Finally a worker who had sense of decency let me into the restroom, thank you to that worker for being a decent human being and showing basic human kindness. This location needs to fix their inhumane bathroom policy and the attitude of their employees.
