On my way to Walgreens or Rite Aid. For years I have come to CVS to buy specific things like toilet paper, paper towel, and a few other things however this is the third CVS in my community that I have visited that does not seem to carry Scott 1000 ply tissue any longer. I've been checking for the last few months I've had to get it somewhere else also there are lots of empty shelves for some reason. Further, the line is always very long and there's never any one on the floor that can help you because the line is long the representatives at the cash register have to focus on getting the customers out of the line and there's no help on the floor. I walked all over the store and a cashier called for a manager 3 times and I never got to talk to her or him. my visits to CVS will be decreasing, because I am wasting my time at this point coming for the things I usually buy there. read more

Horrible. I needed DayQuil and there was no button to push for service. found a button 3 aisles down and the girl that came to help me was nice she said sorry about the button. However , when I got to the register there was 2 girls behind the counter, one eating some kind of pastry and one ringing. That right there very unprofessional. They kept talking to each other instead of focusing on the customer. When it was my turn I gave her my DayQuil and she scanned my cvs card. She spoke to me in Spanish and asked if I have a cvs card. I told her in English "you just scanned it" she's turned to her friend and said "see what I mean I'm tired" then when she said my total I noticed she didn't apply my coupons loaded. This is the worst cvs I've been to and the one on Slauson and overhill is almost just as bad! The ground looks ridiculous upon entering the store, dirty and bums sitting outside! Someone had even thrown up near the door and it was not cleaned up! Then when you go inside, the carpet is atrocious, extra dirty and just overall an ugly experience! There's not enough staff and now everything is locked up so you have to wait for your item! The worker part is this cvs is very unkept! Wonder why? Hmmm! My medication is out at my local CVS and shows in stock here. Tried calling several times today and no one answers while I wait on hold indefinitely. Called 5 other CVS in LA today and this was not the case. All other CVS locations answer the phone. I see from other reviews this is an ongoing issue. Worse customer service ever Pharmacy is ridiculous! I called yesterday twice and was greeted by Steven and wanted me to call a different time and day because they were busy. I called this morning again and same thing can you call at a different time we are busy like no !!!! You can wait then for 20-30 mins ok that's fine I'll wait. He put me on hold but you know like if he just had me on mute because the hold music that's usually plays during your hold time wasn't playing so we all know that annoying hold music . And it was just a muted. I waited for more then 35 mins. And they finally hung up the phone on me. This is frustrating and unprofessional. My patient was waiting their for his medication and they failed to help us out. Poorly managed pharmacy would never recommend nor have an experience there. CVS crenshaw review. The black woman Alexia, who works mainly in the morning ALWAYS has an attitude, she behaves ignorantly with simple tasks. I constantly bring packages to be dropped off and she constantly acts oblivious as if she doesn't know what to do with the packages and does it with an attitude. Typical lazy. All the other workers know EXACTLY what to do and are super friendly and just genuinely good people. This woman has some deep rooted issues and should not work in customer service AT ALL if something as simple as her job duties trigger her. This is the worst service I have ever received at a pharmacy. I scheduled an appointment to get a COVID test at 9:50 AM. I showed up at around 9:30 AM and they had me waiting for 45 minutes. I gave them my information and they just had me waiting for 45 minutes with no explanation. When they finally gave me information, they told me they were training a new worker. When they came back later, they told me they were dealing with maintenance issues. I ended up being late to work. I showed up early and stayed late. In the end, I didn't even receive a COVID test. I like to support the neighborhood businesses but boy they really need to step up their game if they want to keep their customers. Seriously. With Walgreens kitty-corner across the street it's a toss up of where I'll go for my drug store needs. The people working here act like they hate their job. Customers asking employees questions is often met with very rude replies. The wait time for pharmacy as well as general merchandise check outs are ridiculous. Of course blame this on management. First off, hire respectful people that want to work. I'm sure there are people that want to earn an honest living. You are losing customers with the type of people you hire. Next, observe your employees. Often. If you dee them chatting with each other or texting like they are on a break, & they are NOT, you need to say something. If there's a surge of customers lined to check out, bring on more checkers. If none are available, YOU come & HELP. I understand being short-staffed. Believe me. I speak from a personal standpoint as a supervisor /manager of a department of 12+. I can make a lot more suggestions but those 2 things are pretty important changes that I feel can & should be made. overall 2 stars I'm being very generous. Because I believe they have the potential to be better. I frequent this location because it nearest to my house & to get my disabled brothers medication. |the pharmacy| SLOW & sometimes unprepared. I've had problems confirming insurance & bigger issues with trying to get prescriptions that Ive filled out for years at another location to transfer over to this location. Not anyone's fault in particular who knows their procedures but on a patient this can be very inconvenient. To this day there are prescriptions that I drop off in the Other location because they could not get it together here. Lack of urgency, Ive dealt with many cvs pharmacies this is not uncommon at all. It's sad to see elderly and sick people standing in line with canes lethargic & pissed of going through this process. They also have a drive thru which I'm not sure if it's a help or hindrance dealing with both lines. If you come to the CVS pharmacy during a slower time of the day/month you might not have any problems and I use 'Might' very loosely. |everything else| I frequent the cosmetic section, the lottery vending machine & the 1 hour photo. Most annoying thing ever is when they have boxes blocking the product in the middle of the day. My last visit June 3rd (the 1st & 3rd are popular paydays) there is no room to shop or get to product. The lottery machine is down a lot. I put 10 dollars in the ticket machine and the touch screen didn't work. The manager came over after a while and explained there was an 'out of order' sign posted but it must've fallen off. I just took her word for it and she ended up giving me my money back. No worries but a waste of time. Another visit I went to print some pictures out at the self serve one hour photo. Only 1 out of 3 computers worked. A lady walked up & wanted to print photos too but I had the only working station occupied. She just ended up leaving the store all together. Also, the computers were filthy, Dusty and had wires exposed. CVS is a multi-billion-dollar company they can afford to have better resources for their customers. Just because this location is in an urban area doesn't mean customers deserve second hand. There's a Walgreens directly across the street I'll probably get my prints there from now on. I do like that they have the self check out station. And my other favorite section, the snack sections is always neatly stocked with everything I like. I surley hope they get it together with the other things. Went in today to get toothpaste only to walk through the doors and encounter not one, not two, but THREE fully unmasked employees; one of which walked into the store to start his shift, and walked behind the counter with customers at the counter and held a conversation with another employee at the cash register all while unmasked. Had to go to a friend of my to read it for me (it was 25X about 25 it was a big paper). Per one touch there is in English and Spanish. In the box. I have to go about 9 miles to one in Culver City.
