Had a great customer service today with Patrice, she was very professional, polite and patient with me while explaining extra care. She actually was working two separate cash registers simultaneously in an effort to move the line song faster. I watched how she greeted each customer with the same pleasant demeanors. Not enough employees are acknowledged or rated on good customer service so I wanted to ensure I did today, Also, the tall security guard was helpful in opening a locked medicine case. read more

WORST CVS EVER!!! i had to go to this out of my way location to get my covid vaccine. first off the vaccination people are great and friendly. the store itself is a train wreck. is there no manager? the worst customer service ever. they said to use tylenol if i have pain from vaccination. i wanted to buy tylenol plus the vaccine person gives you a 20% coupon. well the tylenol and advil etc. are LOCKED UP. i asked for someone to help me. the girl in pharmacy said she paged someone twice. NOONE SHOWED UP. really you lock up an item in a store and i cant get help to get it. the pharmacy couldnt care less act like its not their problem. no help at all luckily ill never go to this location ever. how you are in business is a shock so many problems. the worst the worst THE WORST. read more

Can you believe this shit? I only stopped into get some aspirin for my tootache. Before I realized that my peeping mammary gland was guiding my day, I encountered a dread locked individual at the checkout who proceeded to inquire about my marital status. I replied that I was happily single. I hate when muthafuckas are tryin' to talk to me AND DON'T KNOW HOW! I just hate to say anything because I know from the experience of life that they're stupid, but if I don't say anything then they escalate and get rude. If I do say something, they still get rude. I showed no interest in the man and he told me that I needed to be single. The folks in line were looking at me, now. But I was cool. Timing is everything. I told him I liked being single. (reeling him in for the kill) He started whining ( did you know the larger the dog, the more they whine?) about being alone and without a companion. Then I struck. "I already have a 'dog' at home. And a pig too! Though it's stuffed, it's better than the ones I run into on a simple trip to the pharmacy." Nervous laughter from checkout clerk, then loud laughter from folks in line. . I see them cleaning it, but it's still a dirty looking establishment. They must search Greyhound stations high and low to find people to hang around outside the store at night. The security guards look like they should be watching their own asses. The staff, challenged though they may be in appearance and grooming, are at least courteous most times. read more

This location has the best amount of choice I've seen in any CVS. Unlike the nearby locations, they're always stocked up on items and are really well maintained. The staff has always been extremely helpful. I've never gone in there unable to find something I needed. read more

I am so disappointed by the level of customer service that I have received from the manager and employees at this store. I waited in line for someone to help me at the perfume counter because there was no one at the perfume counter to help me. After waiting a nice amount of time, I finally was at the front of the line only to be met with disappointing news. The cashier said I had to get out of line to show his manager what perfume I wanted. I asked him if he can just tell his manager on the mic that I want the last 2 Marc Jacob perfume bottles. He said the manager can't do that and I had to get out of front of the line to go show him. I asked him if I could come back to the front and he said yes. So after going to the perfume counter and waiting for the manager to take a long time to find the keys he told me that he will take it back to the register. I went to the front of the line where I originally was and the manager yelled at me " Ma'am you have to wait in line like everyone else" I responded "I did wait in line and I waited for you to find the keys, and I waited for you to bring the perfume to the front, so why would I have to wait in line again. He responded well if you get out of line you have to wait in line again. I responded I didn't get out of line because I wanted to I got out of line because your employee told me to and he said I could come back in front. I then told him you know what I don't even want the two bottles of perfume I was going to purchase. I left the store and called the phone store phone to speak to him personally because I felt humiliated by how he talked to me so disrespectfully and he did it in front of all those people. The treatment I received from the manager Aaron was bad enough that I don't want to ever go back to this store. He yelled at me and I literally wanted to cry. I literally had to call him and to speak up for myself. I gave them multiple chances to fix the situation by the time he wanted to fix it, it was too late because the damage has been done. Why would a customer wait in line twice? Why couldn't the employee just go get the perfume for the customer who was at the front of the line/ at the register. Why would a manager yell at customer? Wow these people dont answer their phones at all. Ive been oh hold with the pharmacy for 25 min and no1 seems to pick up. This is my 4th time this this week and they just dont answer. Its very annoying. And then when u go pick up your prescription either they dont hqve it in stock or they cant even find ur prescription and not only that they take forever to help u. The customer service at this cvs pharmacy is horrible. First you call in to see if your prescription is ready for pick up after being on hold for about 15-20 mins. The pharmacist answers the phone very rudely and is not knowledgeable about the products. After they tell you about your prescription they just hang up in your face. Without asking you if you have any further questions. This is very unprofessional. They don't care about their guest. If you can't handle the pressure and the environment you work in maybe you should reconsider your occupation. Until management fix this problem I will no longer support this location. read more

The pharmacist or pharm tech was extremely rude. You could tell that she was having a bad day and she didn't try to hide it. We all have bad days honey, but please try to leave them at home. I had some legitimate questions about my prescription, but all I got back was a scowl and abrupt answers. Ended up trying the Walgreens pharmacy across the street and getting my prescription filled at a little less than half the price. read more

They give out medicine without instructions in the drive through! The don't correct errors that they make they tried to make me contact the manufacturer to replace my insulin pen that they didn't advice me to refrigerate until I begin to use it! The is a load of crap!! read more

In January, 2016, I dropped off a prescription for pain medication to CVS Pharmacy. When I returned in two days to pick up the prescription, I was informed that the prescription was not filled. When I inquired as to why, the cashier asked the pharmacist and he indicated to her that the pharmacy was out of the medication I requested. I asked when the prescription would be filled and the pharmacist, via the clerk, said that he would have to order it and he wasn't sure when it would come in. I asked the clerk, were they kidding? I explained to her that I have been a customer of CVS for at least 20 years at that location and for that length of time, I have picked up the same prescription for pain medication. I asked her what the difference was that day that all of a sudden I am having difficulty getting a prescription filled at this particular CVS. I asked for them to return the prescription to me. The next day, I took the same prescription to CVS in Beverly Hills, CA and the prescription was filled in 15 minutes. I contacted CVS via their website to express my dissatisfaction with the lack of professionalism shown at CVS and how I felt I was treated unfairly. I received a call from a CVS spokesperson who stated that their pharmacists are licensed separate from CVS and they have the authority to decide who gets a prescription and who does not. I asked her to explain what criteria (red shirt, nappy hair, yellow ribbon, blue jeans?) is used to make those determinations and she couldn't answer me. She CLAIMED someone would call me from CVS special team to discuss the matter further. No surprise, no one called me. In March, 2016, I returned to the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw CVS pharmacy to have another prescription filled for the same pain medication that I was denied in January. Again, I was told that they did not have the medication and that it would have to be ordered. When I asked when the prescription would be ready, the clerk asked the pharmacist, last name, GEONG, to speak with me about my inquiry. Geong stated that he did not have enough tablets to fill a prescription for 30 tablets. I asked him when it would be available and he stated that he didn't know how much he would be receiving and therefore, he didn't know if he would have enough to fill my prescription. I expressed my frustration with CVS giving me excuses about filling my prescription and his turning me down for a prescription for pain meds TWICE, since January. I had recent surgery and at the time I was speaking with Geong, I explained the surgery pain to him and asked could he give me a portion of the prescription so that I could at least have pain meds for the evening. He denied my request. He walked away, returned to me and accused me of cursing at him and, because of his accusation, he would not fill my prescription. No worries, I crossed the street and had my prescription filled at Walgreens. Since the last incident with CVS pharmacy at this location, I have not returned and do not plan to EVER shop there again. As a matter of fact, I intend on avoiding CVS period. They don't even sell name brands. Everything they sell is usually a CVS bad copy of the name-brand good stuff. read more

If I could give a negative I would. I have been using this pharmacy for years - I want to say an entire decade! The last few years have been AWEFUL! They are beyond slow, they rarely if ever have anything on time and they clearly don't properly input insurance information and hit SAVE! EVERYTIME I go they need my damn insurance card....it's the same damn insurance - has been for 8 years....I NEED my meds today, but I'll be damned if they get shit else of mine in the near future. As badly as people need jobs, this place is better off closed. We need pharmacies and businesses in the community that treat their customers with respect, dignity and professionalism and you WILL NOT find that here. Management is clearly subpar! read more

MAY 28, 2017....prior to the present "management" taking over, this CVS was the ideal neighborhood pharmacy. Always had multiple Pharmacists on duty, and prescriptions were done professionally and timely, Now, I normally see one lone young lady. They shut down early, especially on week-ends. THE STORE is pitiful.....unstocked shelves, dirty floors, 1 or 2 clerks on duty, and a lack of customers to show for it....INCLUDING ME IN THE FUTURE. read more
