All I did was smile at them and say hello then went on to try to shop. I don't know, but they had a loud conversation about how they don't believe in mixing races and that if they had kids they were going to force them to only be with people the same race. O_O I hope they grow up one day and realize that it's not their job to control other people and tell them how to live their life, and I realize the irony here but I'm here I am to say a bit of advice for that security guard- maybe they should try living their life not being such an idiotic unkind person? My parents were different races, it doesn't make anything worse having a deeper gene pool. It's why when we force animals to be "pure bred" they tend to have A LOT of health problems. Also, CVS, (and this one's for corporate) I know you guys get a lot of theft, but how about not forcing people to wait crazy amounts of time for the one poor employee you have working there at night (to make more profit, I know) just so we can get something out of a case and buy it? How about instead of putting almost literally everything in a case and losing more customers and more purchases than what you would lose in theft.... you just invest a little extra money into good security? (cameras and people). I've walked away many times and chose not to buy something because it takes so long to get anything from the case. And it's not "lazy" employees, it's understaffed employees trying to work within the ridiculous system you make them operate. Thanks for all the coupons though! it's why I keep coming back :]

It was my first time coming to this store but totally put off by such bad energy and for especially rolling his eyes at me JUST for asking a kind question. However, Enrique was very nice and helpful as soon as I entered the store to the closing. When I told him about his coworker he even apologize to me on his behalf, even though it was not his fault. Word to Mr. Cashier Eddie. You work for a company that pays you to work them in return to treat their customers politely and kindly. The customers pay the bills and keep the doors open, remember that. This is NOT your company, so you cannot just treat people any kind of way and out of respect and interest of the company overall, this should be a reminder to you. If you don't like your job that's fine, get another job. But if you don't like the customers for whatever reason it may be, be it the way they look or simply just because your having a bad day doesn't not give you the right to roll your eyes at them or give them an attitude. REMEMBER, I THE CUSTOMER PAYS YOUR SALARY.

I really hate to leave a review like this, because I've generally had good experiences here during…read morethe day. The two women who usually work as pharmacists are wonderful -- kind, attentive, and they somehow remember me even if I haven't been in for months. I've come to this pharmacy because of them, despite the general disarray of this Vons. But tonight was a very different story. My dentist sent over a prescription to address significant oral pain, and I went in hoping to get it filled quickly. When I arrived, there was no one in line, but I was completely ignored for a long time. When I asked for help, I was told my prescription wasn't in their system. After insisting that it had been sent, the gentleman at the register (rude) checked again -- reluctantly -- and discovered that yes, it was there. Instead of apologizing, he told me I'd have to wait for 40 minutes because there were "a hundred prescriptions" ahead of mine. (There were three people behind me.) By this time, I was in real pain. When I asked to have my prescription transferred elsewhere, I was told they couldn't do that -- though any California pharmacy is legally required to transfer a prescription upon request. By this point I was in serious pain, didn't want to frustrate the few other customers waiting, and was in no shape to wander around the sketchy Vons for 40 minutes -- so I left, hoping that ibuprofen would get me through the night. It's such a shame -- this used to be a bright spot thanks to the daytime pharmacists; but tonight's experience was unprofessional, dismissive, and frankly heartless. The store itself feels increasingly unsafe; I've seen arguments and fights in the parking lot. Bottom line: I can't recommend this pharmacy anymore. Unless the management addresses these staffing and safety issues, stay away.
