Not only are they completely incompetent... THEY LIE. At 200pm My doctor called in a prescription to CVS Pharmacy for me. At 300pm I called the pharmacy and confirmed that they had received the prescription. At 400pm I called the pharmacy and confirmed that the prescription was ready for pickup. At 600pm I arrived at the pharmacy --- where they told me they had no record of my prescription. The doctor's office was closed. I am now flying on vacation to France without my migraine headache medication. If anyone writes a good review of this pharmacy we should consider it phony. If I could give them zero stars, I would. This pharmacy is the most incompetent batch of "professionals" as I have come across. I was just notified this morning that my prescription was filled and ready for pick up. The drug was a treatment for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Funny thing is, I had never heard of the doctor that called in the prescription and...I don't have bipolar disorder. According to the bright minds at the pharmacy, the doctor called in the prescription for a patient with a "similar name" to mine and there was a typographical error. When asked how they matched it up with me with no defining information, I was told that they called in with my Date of Birth as well, a statement that was later retracted when I inquired about the patient who had my exact birthdate and a similar name. What if this had been billed to my insurance? What if I had never answered my phone to get the original message? Would this person have not received their medication? How fundamentally inept could you possibly be to make typographical errors when it comes to prescription drugs. Your ONLY job is to make sure people obtain the medication that they were prescribed and yet you manage to make the most simpleton of mistakes without referencing anything in your system. You do not belong behind that counter. You should not be trusted with the lives of patients. You should not be employed in any profession such as this. Please relocate yourself to a career that doesn't require any more than a GED-equivalent mental capacity before you get somebody hurt. read more

This CVS is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Each and everyone of the staff are disgraceful in the area of service and helping people. I live in this area and I have been at this location many times unfortunately. I am not sure what to do but I will post their horrendous service to all socialmedia. Not long ago i was in so much pain I decided to go there 3 am. I was in tiers and nobody helped. And when i asked for assistance the response was I am going to lunch. The pharmacy is as bad if not worse. They lie and cheat you and play with you health and life. Lets not forget about the hour's of waiting in pain before they assist you. I just transferred all my medications to another pharmacy and I encourage all of you to do the same. They do not deserve our business. This location should be shut down or change management. Bad service from Asian looking lady by the cashier area/photo center. She is probably a manager since other employees were asking her questions. I was at the photo center struggling trying to pass my stroller between chair and stand and she was right behind stand there watching. Once I finally passed thru, I asked her where to pay since my baby was crying so much she is like "get in line!" With attitude. Not sure what was going on in her mind but this kind of behavior is just not acceptable. I never write reviews, and this problem never happened to me before. Terrible experience. read more

PHARMACY REVIEW: I wouldn't even give them ONE star, but I have no choice. I had a UTI a few months ago. It wasn't diagnosed until the 6th day, when I got the lab results back. (I guess it hadn't shown up when I had the initial exam, so they sent it to the lab to be sure.) Anyway, I was DYINGGGGG and needed antibiotics RIGHT AWAY! My doctor called the CVS pharmacy at 8am to prescribe my antibiotics. I went in shortly after to pick them up, only to find out they wouldn't give them to me because they needed my doctor to FAX the prescription in. WHAT?? Why didn't they ask for a fax while they had her on the phone? My doctor was busy with other patients until around 2pm, so I just waited in pain all afternoon. I don't know why they needed a fax. They never needed it in the past. ?? Long story short, I did't get my antibiotics until 6pm. The pharmacists were sooo rude, too. I think I need to go to Walgreens from now on. My son called for a prescription refill in the morning that needed physician approval. This CVS pharmacy employee said they would send the request right away to the physician. I call an hour later to see if it was being filled. The pharmacy said they hadn't heard from the physician. I immediately called and spoke with the physician, not his staff. He said he's been there all the time and there was no phone call, no fax, and no email from CVS. He, while I was waiting on the phone, sent an email to CVS. I then called back CVS pharmacy, who had obviously lied about contacting the physician. I asked it the physician's email had been received. He said that CVS had the prescription and would fill it in 2 hours. It had been 2 hours already but they couldn't do it any faster. I arrived at CVS 2-1/2 hours after the call and the prescription was not even started! It's been almost another 1/2 hour and still nothing. The pharmacy supervisor is not on the premises. I don't normally write bad reviews, but I just had the most frustrating experience at this cvs. It took three people forever to try to pint two photos for me which I had ordered this morning. They kept asking me the same questions over and over. Finally they figured out that my order was in the system. Then when I went to pay, the man helping me couldn't even charge me correctly.i was using a cc and he punched in cash and I could see he was stumbling so I just paid him cash so his drawer wouldn't be short. The workers here are VERY unprofessional and some of them are borderline incompetent. They need to learn about customer service. read more

If you ever want your prescription filled, DO NOT go here! After three trips and a week of trying, I am having my prescription transferred somewhere else. The first time I went to pick up, it wasn't there. A call to my doctor informed me that the pharmacy didn't know whether the medication (which was prescribed to take ORALLY), was a gel or pill and had faxed for clarification. The next day, I called CVS to make sure they had the prescription. They said yes. I went back only to find out they didn't because they didn't have the dosaged noted. The next day, I called to see if it was ready, and they informed me that they had LOST the prescription! Thank goodness it wasn't a matter of life and death - I will never use this pharmacy again and recommend that anyone needing medication in a timely fashion steer clear. read more

First of all I been coming to this CvS or longs drugs whatever it's called since a kid and never had a bad experience. But today I was rung up by the quote on quote store manager. This lady kept talking about how she couldn't wait to get off work and was sighing and acted as if scanning 2 items was the hardest thing in the world. She proceeded to say to a co-worker "If She could only get off any sooner" I wish I told her she should get off and stay off forever... she also heard me say my phone number wrong and made me put it in myself (which i don't mind doing) obviously she's mad she works at CVS and has to do stuff like that. Last but not least she didn't even offer me a bag or say anything she just walked away, so i grabbed my things of the counter n left. Seems like She probably didn't take her anti depressants today. Moral of story I hope she never trains another employee another day in her life. She's best off working at a library or better yet a beach clean up with her sad program of a self. Cvs sure does a great job at hiring! Next time I'll be sure to tell her to keep that sad story stuff in a conversation out of work and not take it out on customers.you can really tell she's upset with working at a pharmacy for 9 bucks a hour. I have had many irritating experiences with this pharmacy, however an exchange I had with Roula yesterday evening has prompted me to finally pull my business from this pharmacy. Knowing this pharmacy always runs extremely behind, I waited 4 hours past the time my dr's office called in my meds for an infection to call and see if my prescription was ready. I waited on hold to speak with a pharmacist as I had no prescription number to utilize the automated phone system. The call was picked up by a flustered sounding woman. She checked my name and birthdate and told me no, it was not ready. When I asked when it would be available to pick up I got a vague and still flustered "maybe I can try to have it ready in a half hour?" I pressed for more than a "maybe" time frame, reminding her that sufficient time had passed for this time sensitive medication to be filled. I also stated this type of slow service was pretty typical of this pharmacy. When she sensed the annoyance in my tone she became so categorically unprofessional I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She said, very angrily, "you know what, I can't talk to you right now. I'm having a really bad day and I just can't talk to you." She then snapped "show up in a half an hour and I'll try to have it ready." ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!? Do we all have bad days at work? Sure. Regardless of profession most of us could never act this way. Let alone a profession where you are responsible for dispensing medication to people who are SICK AND/OR IN PAIN. Can you imagine if your dr said such a thing to you on a bad day? Ridiculous. I went in to retrieve my prescription and immediately asked to speak to the pharmacy manager. It was now 9pm on a Friday night and I was told no manager was on duty. When the polite man at the counter asked what the issue was, I said it was in regards to a phone exchange I'd just had with the woman standing next to him. She immediately recognized who I was and sarcastically pointed to her name tag, saying in a challenging way.."yes, that was ME. My name is ROULA." She then proceeded to spell her name out for me. Absolutely unbelievable. I was given my prescription by the man at the counter (who took over and made sure I received my medication) and after asking a few questions learned that ROULA was the pharmacist in charge. What a face she has given this pharmacy. It's a joke, in my opinion. She's the person in charge and that's how she behaves??! I guess that explains a lot. The only thing I could think was maybe she was planning to quit and just really didn't care how she acted??? One could only hope. I don't know if writing this review even makes a dent in the way this place is run because I honestly doubt this CVS even cares. It is clear they are inept at handling their volume of customers. I have many times been in there and felt incredibly frustrated over miscommunications and wait times. I have also many times witnessed other customers dealing with the same frustrations. Just went to CVS with an excruciating earache. I standed under the sign that says consultation from where I saw the top of 3 heads until i heard coming from across the pharmacy room :" Do you have a question?" I did not know where that question came from and waited a few moments until i finally saw a face emerging from behind a cash register in the middle of the room but not coming toward me. The face repeated loudly "Do you have a question?" Well, yes I had a question otherwise I would not have been standing there! I said I had a bad ear infection. Considering that I had to shout out my ailment I was glad that my pain was only in the ear, some other parts could have been rather embarrassing to expose to the whole pharmacy! The voice moved nonchalantly towards me without a word. She did not know where the ear drops were and had to ask a colleague. "Do you know where the ear drops are?" She finally gave me the small box of ear drops and without even looking at me, said"Have a good night". That was a pharmacist ??? She might have received the degree but i strongly suggest a crash course in manners and patients consideration. read more

The people are nice but the pharmacist is obviously not capable of filling more than one prescription an hour. When I dropped mine off they said it would be 40 min. I left and came back 4 hours later and they're"still working on it." so far half the people who have gone up have been told they're prescriptions still aren't ready. Called up and said specifically to the representative who answered the phone "my apt key just broke off into lock. Do you sell door locks/door knobs?" He says "yes we do, come on down". I show up, and they have NOTHING of the sorts. The guy who answered the phone appears and says "i thought you meant a little pad lock". I say "how do you turn APT LOCK AND DOOR KNOB into a little pad lock. These imbeciles wasted my time, cost me plans with friends, and still no lock for door. Word of advice CVS, if your employees DONT SPEAK ENGLISH OR UNDERSTAND IT, DONT HAVE THEM ANSWERING PHONES AND QUESTIONS. Idiots and morons run that show. This review is solely based on the pharmacy- specifically Noushin Lavian, the pharmacist. Battling a crazy head cold myself, I decided to wait a few hours after my baby's doctors appointment was over to go pick up the prescription the doctor had called into the the pharmacy as my child and I were still standing in the office (10:30am), as I was in no shape to wait around the store while the prescription was filled, infecting other people. So at 1, I packed my baby in the car and headed back over. We waited in The prescription pick up line, only to be told there was nothing there very abruptly by the woman at the counter, and to go head over to the drop off line to see if they could help me. While I was waiting in that line, I called my doctor and she assured me that the prescription was sent in in the morning. I thought maybe there was just confusion so I waited to get in line. When I got to the head of that line, the man told me there was nothing there and set me back to the drop off-line - that if my doctor said it was there, maybe it was somewhere in the pile of stuff they had in the back. To me that didn't sound very organized, but I went back in the other line. When I talked to that woman, she was actually trying to help out, but 10 minutes later I still hadn't heard back from her... She just looked over at me and said they haven't heard anything from the doctor yet... I got my doctor on the phone again... Keep in mind my doctor was stepping out of her room with patients to deal with this... She insisted she left a third message of the day on their answering machine! So this whole time that I'm there with a crying baby, sick as heck... They haven't even checked their answering machine for prescription Call ins? Now I wish it ended here... But this is where Noushin Lavian Took it one step too far. She yelled at me from across the pharmacy line... With everyone looking and screamed "I cant even hear what she saying... Listen...! How am I supposed to fill something if I cant even hear what the doctors even saying?" Now I know I was extra sensitive because I felt so sick... But this is when I busted into tears begging her to call the doctor. She did not let up her stone face and was barking and being miserable and making me feel very small in front of the line of patients waiting for the refills. Now I'm not sure if this is how they are taught to be, but this seems extremely unnecessary to me to talk to customers this way... Especially customers who are visibly sick with sick babies in tow. My awesome doctor got on the phone with her and gave her the prescription AGAIN. She continued to slam away at her keys and pass me off to someone else so she wouldn't have to deal with me. I left the store incredibly upset. I gave myself the night to cool down before writing this review... But I really do think this pharmacist should be called out on her behavior. read more

Unfortunately, this is my neighborhood CVS. Usually things go pretty smoothly but I don't get prescriptions that often. I do have a prescription face wash however. I've been trying to pick it up for over 3 WEEKS now!!! I've been sent to another CVS by them to get the prescription filled, the other CVS was like "huh? why are you here? your CVS is the Brentwood one" (yes, I know). Go back to the Brentwood CVS - "why are you back here? It says your prescription is on hold in the SM CVS." OMG!!! Fill the stupid prescription! I've had my dr. re-call in the prescription 2x already. Every time I go in it's something else. They say they will call the SM CVS and they never do. They claim that they CAN'T fill the prescription while it's on hold in SM. Does that even make sense? You are both CVS's. Meanwhile, my face is so dry and peeling and painful. I'm just SO happy this wasn't an antibiotic or something important.THIS is why people freak out in line. Of course CVS won't read this. But it just feels soooo good to vent... read more

Stop! Halt! Do *not* go to this pharmacy. They will literally do their very best to kill you,if you're already sick. Understaffed, don't answer their phones, don't follow up with calls to doctor for prescription refills, and after waiting a full week, I was just informed that the medication I am now totally out of they don't have in stock. That's not even mentioning standing in line behind a bunch of bobble-heads too busy poking at their cell phones to pay attention to details like picking up and paying for medication. Every time I've been to this CVS I've had to wait in a long'ish, slow-moving line. I had (tried) to transfer medications after a recent move, and they have managed to screw up EVERY SINGLE PRESCRIPTION. Once I manage to pry the current prescriptions out of their slow but sticky hands, I'll be looking for some nice little pharmacy that's not run by a ginormous chain. read more

I will literally never be a patron of cvs pharmacy ever again. They are painstakingly slow and the last straw was when I was in on a Sunday afternoon, after waiting in line for no less than 30 minutes, and there was some issue with the pricing of my prescription. Not even sure what the issue what because these people apparently never learned basic communication skills. I'm then standing at one of the registers for ANOTHER 30 minutes, consistently being skipped over to deal with other people's issues, who had been BEHIND me in line, yet they were dealt with before me. Low and behold I don't get my prescription for whatever reason and I called my local Walgreens the second I got into my car to have my prescriptions transferred. everyone at this CVS is super nice and helpful except for a female pharmacist with dark, long brown hair. could she hate her job or people any more?! i have been going to this pharmacy for 10 years since it before it became CVS, and this woman is likely one of the rudest and most angry health care professionals i have ever dealt with. do not know why i finally decided to speak up. this is my 1st yelp review ever. people have bad days and customers can be demanding and frustrating as well. i have always given her the benefit of the doubt, but the last several times i have encountered her have just been egregiously unacceptable. read more

This is the place I go for just about anything beauty or household when I don't feel like a trip to Target. But I wanted to especially call out a great employee and good customer service this week. I bought a CVS brand set of razors after using a big name brand for years. You all know CVS's sales push "compare to X" at much lower prices. After using the first razor for 2 weeks it turned into a disgusting rusty mess. Threw it out, used the second razor, same problem. I never, ever had that problem with the name brand. So I took it back, without a receipt and David could not have been nicer, more understanding and accommodating. I was willing to re-try the CVS brand but he offered to exchange it for the name brand I had bought and was happy with before. Now THAT is service and why I will be back. Thank you David! If you don't have health insurance and must pay out of pocket, CVS tends to be more expensive than even its competitors such as Rite Aide or Walgreens. So do your drug shopping much like you'd shop around for cars or clothes before settling down w/ CVS. If you do have health insurance be ready to wait foreverrrrr even when you're miserable and sick to get your medications ready as the pharmacy staff tend to be a bunch of SLOW-poke idiots, no pun intended. Also what used to be great with CVS stores, was when I lived in NY (I think it originated from there) and they'd have all brands of drugs/products on the shelves besides their own. Now they have monopolized so many other companies and most of the time all you see is CVS brand. I think as a customer I should have a right to decide if I want CVS brand or original maker of whatever OTC drug I want.
