My experiences here were quite good, to be fair. I called to transfer an prescription from a different Walgreens, the staff looked it up, said it was held up in the other store due to insurance charges, but then the next day they cleared it and got the prescription ready for it. That was very considerate and great service. When I came to get the 1st prescription, I had a second one to fill, it was incomplete (missing some key information) and the staff directed me to have my doctor's office call them... the issue was cleared in minutes. I waited about 20 minutes for the whole thing, which to me isn't unreasonable... During the process I sat right outside the pharmacy and saw how busy the staff was - phones were ringing constantly and many prescriptions seem to have issues! I imagine the operation of a pharmacy can be quite complex. But the few people who came during this short period seemed to have gotten what they wanted and left promptly. The store doesn't have a nice front entrance on Wilshire; you have to go to the back where there is a small entrance. The building seems a bit old but inside was clean and organized and the cashier on duty was friendly.

Jazmin hung up on me the first time. I called back and suddenly she tells me they "don't have my medication." So what happened to it? Because my app literally showed it was READY for pickup at that location. I even have screenshots to prove it. Funny how now they're acting like they never called me and never had it in stock. Gaslighting at its finest. I've been waiting an entire month for this medication. When they finally called, I was out of town, but I still contacted them BEFORE the hold date expired. Now magically it's gone? And they already told me before that if people don't pick up certain medications fast enough, they give them to their "regulars." So now I'm left without my medication because Jazmin says so? That's ridiculous. Don't call patients and tell them their prescription is ready if you're just going to give it away and pretend it never existed. I have screenshots, voicemail proof, and the app history. This is beyond unprofessional. THE WORST because them giving my medication to another person, I have to suffer ? NO this is horrible I don't know what kind of business are doing opening my medication to give to some one else.

I've been here a bunch and had no issues, it's always met all of my needs with a smile. I'm so thankful to have a shop like this at the Farmers Market! As soon as I walked through the doors, I noticed a really bad smell throughout the entire store. The carpet was extremely dirty and made the whole place feel run-down and poorly maintained. For a CVS located in such a busy shopping center, I honestly expected the store to be much cleaner and more welcoming. The customer service was also practically nonexistent. There was no one around asking customers if they needed help or even acknowledging them when they came in. It felt like you were completely on your own. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was seeing a man putting items into his backpack and appearing to steal merchandise. There was a security guard standing right by the entrance, but I did not see the guard take any action. I obviously can't speak to what the security guard may or may not have been aware of, but as a customer, witnessing that made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. I hope management takes a serious look at the condition of the store, customer service, and overall security because the experience was far below what I would expect from CVS.

I was shocked by the low ratings. But I read the reviews about the pharmacy. ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. The pharmacy used to be great. It is unprofessional and apathetic to customers. I am writing about the store. Manager ALEX ALVAREZ is the epitome of great leadership and customer service. He always tries to find solutions. MARIO is a master at customer service. He is knowledgeable, affable, productive and always goes beyond to make customers feel appreciated and valued. JESSICA is another star. JESSICA should teach classes in customer service, communication and problem solving. She is not just kind and helpful, she is knowledgeable and resourceful. Both JESSICA and MARIO often multitask and are so enthusiastic. They are great ambassadors for CVS. I hope CVS Corp. acknowledges their amazing consistent performances. They need to be heralded and rewarded. read more

Be wary of any calls you get from this CVS Pharmaqcy in particular. I have received many scam call with the last week claiming to be from this location. Asking me if I am ou Medical and then saying I "qualify" for a Medical Alert Bracelet. JUST BE CAREFUL OF ANY SCAM CALLS CLAINING TO BE FROM THIS LOCATION. Left for for the owner, who a Russian speaking pharmacist assured me would call back as he "deeply cares". But I already knew I would never hear from him. Any owner willing to employ such a toxic employee when she's got other negative reviews clearly doesn't give a crap. The other store in Sherman Oaks, unfortunately employees a "manager" by the name of Kevin, who has been also dismissive and uncaring on several occasions, and also has several negative reviews. There's a homeopathic specialty store that a lot of A-list celebrities use in Santa Monica, highly recommend you call them as they're very happy to ship ground and we'll spend as much time as you need on the phone while sounding appreciative of you as a customer and respect you as a human being. Drugs is an awful institution, both locations are toxic. If you can, I would avoid it all costs.

Interestingly, other pharmacies close by doesn't have the out of pocket charges. Come to find out they really attempt to charge for bulk orders such as 3 months supply. There are specific meds which can be bulk ordered that is administrated every couple weeks or so. The pharmacy refuse to bulk order this med. So we inquired with several other pharmacies then found out that pharmacy make less money when meds are sold in bulk. Albeit the front desk lady is still pleasant, the lady pharmacist or the shorter male pharmacist isn't. There are many more viable, less expensive and friendlier options nearby. I'm not coming here anymore.
