I love this modern pharmacy concept! They have an app where you can access all your prescription info. You can text them and call as well. They deliver for free and you can track your delivery via the app. You can also pick up your medication at their physical location if you choose. So convenient! They are very friendly when I sent text messages and via phone. They are an east coast company so I was able to get a response early in the morning regarding my prescription question. They are open at 7am until 11pm EST. The courier came within the time frame specified. You do have to sign for the prescription. It comes packaged in a cute little bag and they included a heart sticker logo. They also had a card that said if you text them your old pharmacy that they can transfer your prescription for you. The medication never arrived. They kept rescheduling and it never came. This is insane!

After two years of using the service, I've switched back to CVS. It started off great (hence the two stars instead of one), so something must have changed in the last year. Frequent delays in refills, long response times for customer service, dwindling delivery window options. It got down to just 6-9pm a day or two after ordering, which, fine, I could plan for. But after several deliveries coming after 9pm, no more. The last time was almost 10pm on a weeknight, with no updates until I reached out after hours (ironically for medication that helps with sleep!). Too stressful. Delivery sounds nice and convenient and is when it works, but I can go to my local CVS that's open 24/7 and is six minutes away. Save the headache and stick to what's reliable. read more

This is the most irresponsible pharmacy. They have cancelled multiple deliveries for random reasons so late that it left me without a way to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy, and without delivery or pickup options over a weekend. For months they said there was an issue with insurance and charged me full price when actually there was no issue. These guys are so unreliable and irresponsible. Doctor timely medicine through prescription - don't hear from Capsule for 18 hours re same day delivery despite calling multiple times. Finally reach someone who says they don't have my prescription, which definitely was sent to them. Two experiences with them, one - they didn't include a med description/how to take it which caused me taking it with other things I cannot have at that time (regular pharmacy is much better, making it safe for you with their paperwork printed), and 2 - they didn't deliver my medication as no one opened the door. Okay, I've been using CVS Pharmacy & Amazon Pharmacy for years for birth control and other daily use medications for myself and family members. I've had great insurance from Kaiser too low cost Medi-Cal so you can see the variations, I LOVE Capsule, I had a prescription sent in from a Dr and the order form was sent too me within minutes, I was able too get my prescriptions delivered for Free & they even transferred over another prescription from CVS in under 24 hours. This company used to be awesome. I was always able to get my medications on time, with good customer service (not the best, but responsive). They stopped delivering in my area recently, and so I initiated a prescription transfer request to amazon pharmacy while I also wait to get a new doctor and a closer pharmacist. They didn't respond to the transfer requests. It had been over a week. I sent their CS team a message when I first transferred the request, and then after. Today I finally had to call them to get them to contact my new pharmacy. The main issue I have is that due to their inaction, I've run out of my medication. I've been having crazy side effects the last 3 days, and I'm not looking forward to ramping back up again. If their team would have done their job, this wouldn't have happened. Yes, it was definitely bad timing, but I had enough to last with a small gap and that would have been fine. But they drug this out by not being able to respond to a transfer request. I called today and the prescriptions were transferred 30 minutes later. I never really thought I'd see the day where amazon as a company is more responsive than some smaller one. read more

Poor execution from Start and it just continued. No response. Someone from Capsule called me to confirm my order of 3 meds instead of 2. I confirmed 3 medications. They delivered 2. I messaged them about the missing medication. No response. Consequently I had to order from my other pharmacy and refill it. It became a waste of time. The delivery times are a bit inconvenient also. They are not every hour like you see in the commercial. A month later, they now have refilled 2 of my prescriptions without my approval which is normal but what isn't is they didn't do the 3rd medication again. WORSE YET.. They didn't notify me nor schedule a delivery. The medications have been sitting there for a week. My pharmacy had to call Capsule to cancel the orders. these people will block your medication if they feel like it. they've been harassing my doctors for over a week, calling them all multiple times to double, triple confirm that the scripts are correct. the pharmacists are pretending they know more than doctors. I have been denied medication for over a week now. they are shady. if you google them you can see how many people they laid off last year, and it's obvious that they don't care about their clients. I gave Capsule another shot, and they disappointed me yet again. The lack of communication and accountability for that communication is mind-boggling. I had a script called in on Tuesday morning. I was informed that the script wouldn't be available to me until Wednesday. I followed up. I followed up again on Thursday afternoon and was advised that the medication was no longer available. Why wouldn't they have informed me on Wednesday, when the medication was supposed to be available? I really don't think I am being unreasonable by asking that they give me a timely update on my medication and their inability to fill it after 2 days of waiting. It's beyond annoying that I wasn't told until I reached out to ask the question. KEVIN at Capsule "customer service" gave me the same 'we will try to do better' speech I had received previously. Shame on me for believing they could or would do any better since the last time. His monotone, seemingly un-empathetic responses to me in the face of this current issue were disappointing, to say the least. Jon at the San Diego Capsule location was patient, kind, and so helpful in explaining to me what Capsule was - it's literally our prescription dreams come true. We were walking around downtown SD and stumbled upon this concept. I had a prescription in LA that my dermatologist prescribed but when I arrived at the CVS, they only had one of two of the prescriptions. Thinking it was the doctor's fault, the doctor confirmed that she did prescribe it yet CVS had no record of it. This has happened so many times. Jon got a hold of my prescription from CVS, sent a link to me, and in minutes, my prescription will be delivered today to my house in LA. AMAZING. Wow. That's all I can say. After being put through hassle at CVS and being spoken to with disdain because I was getting a drug that my doctor prescribed for weight loss, I vowed to find a new pharmacy. UPDATE: Kevin successfully lost a customer. Kevin, the "Pharmacist in Charge" (aka, not a PCP), has extreme opinions about what's best for patients, though he's never met them, has no baseline vitals or other diagnostic indicators... Despite all this, Kevin has zero problem second guessing usual course of care, questioning your doctor's advice, insinuating that your current regimen is ineffective... & generally imposing his will to shift your course of care to The Kevin Plan. I appreciate the professional training & value valid clinical input, but I have a PCP who's not named Kevin. A real doctor who I trust, who's known me for years, and actually has the requisite medical degree & patient background to adequately direct the primary care of his patients. Kevin & his ego are getting in the way - I hope someone at Capsule corporate hears this :) ORIGINAL They try but Pharmacy Manager Kevin has got to go. He's clearly a frustrated dude and has no qualms letting you (their *customer*) know it. It's like talking to a brick wall that only repeats what's in the news - like a robot parrot stuck on repeat "this is what I'm authorized to share" Customer care team tries to help though. They don't seem fully synced with the pharmacy / supply sides of the business (e.g. different info and advice re: what's available, what's on order/ back order, when Rxs Will actually be filled...) always ethical & never crossing the line of propriety , but at least they try to help you decide best path forward with whatever info they can make available. I would give this pharmacy 0 stars if I could. I was very very disappointed with them and my first attempt to use them yesterday Saturday will be my last time trying them. I had the Doctor use capsule because they sent me a text message saying that they could deliver by 3 PM on the same day that's the only reason I did so because I was too sick to go out to a pharmacy. At 4 o'clock when no medications came, I called them and they said sorry it's past the time when we can deliver, I said then why would you send me 2 text messages saying that you could, all she kept saying was oh sorry sorry then she gave me an option of either sending the prescription to a local pharmacy or re delivering it the next day...again because I didn't feel well I said okay can you, when When I asked her if she could guarantee the delivery she then backpedaled and said let me check your address then came back with sorry we off is it a full for your area for tomorrow are you kidding me so she transferred it to CV s near me and said she would do so right away I had a friend of mine go and pick up the medications just before the CV S close at 6 o'clock to be told that no medications had been called in by capsule I then called the number again got an answering machine, I left a detailed message of how upset I was and for them to call me back ASAP. I got a call from a lady from New York at about 7am my time. She said that when the CV S pharmacy opened up she would call the prescription in. Again all I got was 'sorry'. She said she would confirm with me when this was done. Finally at 1130 I got a text back from her saying she had confirmed the prescription was sent in. I had a my partner go who's sick too and pick up the prescription so yeah not a good look at ALL!!! First time was a real dud and the trust is gone, incompetent to say the least!!! read more

I have been a Capsule client for a few years now and for the most part I am a happy client. However, one of the most annoying and senseless rules they have is that a driver or delivery person cannot deliver earlier than your allotted time. The drivers usually get in touch to say they are on their way and I am always here waiting earlier. I have asked if they would come earlier and the answer is "I can't". If your window is between 4 & 6, I can come at 4:01 but no sooner.... That seems ridiculous and doesn't make sense. For a company that seems to streamline things so well this certainly seems a bit odd that a delivery person can't make an earlier delivery if the customer is sitting and waiting! I used Capsule last year with no issues, always same-day delivery and good customer service. This year, I don't know what happened but they took a complete 180 degree turn for the WORSE. They NEVER have stock for any prescription almost and when they do I've had my orders scheduled, paid for and never arrive. They do not even send a text message to alert you that they need to reschedule or anything so you would not know until you log into the website and check yourself. The customer support is not helpful at all. I would NOT recommend Capsule to anyone anymore, go to your local CVS/Walgreens and stay away. read more
