This is the best CVS I've ever been to. They fill my prescriptions right away, they rarely have a long line, and the pharmacy staff seem incredibly nice. When my doctor prescribed me an antibiotic that had penicilin in it, they made sure to ask me about it because in my records it said I was allergic to penicilin. Turns out my doc knew what he was doing, but I was so glad they checked! They even answer their phone in a timely manner, which I have never seen at a CVS before. The only real downside is that parking is really hard, due to it being next to the Mitsuwa market which is very popular. So taking one star off for that, but otherwise this CVS is great. read more

There's always lots of registers open and the staff are consistently friendly, which is more than can be said about a lot of the customers. Pretty good size parking lot that can get crowded as it's shared with a grocery store. There's also street parking behind the store on Ocean View if you can tolerate a two-minute walk. read more

This CVS is right next to Mitsuwa so I stopped in. It is surprisingly big. It is clean like most CVSs are I couldn't put my finger on it -- it seemed unorganized - or things were ill placed yet stilll neat. I got my Therma Heat Care pads, Fresca, & "talked into" getting some ice cream (limited edition dreyer's girl scout samoans ice cream - which was disappointing thru n thru) Anyways, I am not sure if this CVS is 24 hrs - I doubt it but I hope it is. read more

When my extra bucks did not show up on my receipt last night, Michelle was very patient with me while we waited for the manager. She was the type to initiate conversations, so I felt very comfortable being at this CVS unlike some other CVS. Thank you! I was visiting a friend in Marina Del Rey and needed something at the drug store, so I popped in the local CVS store. Mind you that I've been to this store before and like other reviewers have had not the greatest experience. I was wondering around when an extremely nice gentleman came up to me and asked if I needed help. Little to my surprise, he was the assistant manager, Devon O. acting as manager while his manager was on vacation. I couldn't believe the assistant this young man gave me. He knew exactly what I needed and guided me to the isle, showing me the exact product I was looking for. I just can't believe how much patience this sole has! You just don't find kindness like this in L.A anymore and I'm certainly glad I did. I will certainly be coming back to this store and asking for Devon's help again!! read more

The fact that a renown pharmacy is selling individual face mask which look that they have been made by a toy company for $2.00 each is repulsive. They have taken advantage of the situation to sell these overpriced. I just dropped off an eye prescription for my eyes. Firstly the staff I know wasn't there usually they work efficiently. There was this new employee checking all drop-off paperwork he had no idea how the system works it took a 20 minutes to put my prescription in. In my opinion this guy can not be at front line he has no clue what he is doing there, he got stuck in the system and didn't ask help usually it takes less then 5 minutes to put a prescription in and another 15 minutes to wait. All employees are new and confused. They were all working in bad mood. I had a horrible and frustrating experience today. When I checked the stars here no wonder the have just 2 stars it's no good. I never complain about anything, this is a first. Don't even start using this pharmacy. They text to say it's ready then left me waiting 90 minutes, others had the same experience behind me. They say it has not been processed or sent so why on earth do they send a text to say it is? The pharmacy is clearly extremely under staffed, I'm sure they are nice people but this is so wrong. I asked questions about the medicine but Pharmacist didn't listen to me, she kept cutting me off and didn't bother to answer my questions. I went to this branch for emergency OTC. The arrangement of merchandise has changed. Visited the pharmacy and noticed that the staff has changed as well. I used to have my occasional prescription refilled at this branch but was just disappointed because of lack of customer service. I brought in my dad to have flu shot last month. Just went today to purchase some coffee cups for my Keurig for my surprise we're two items with a tag of 75% off so I grab one of each and headed to check up. The cashier scan both of the items and told me that one of the item was not part of the special so we walked back to the aisle and showed the signs, She mentioned that just one of the item was on special; did not want to argue so went back to checking out for the "discounted " item and when the cashier called for override Laura came in and said that item was not in special neither. At that point I felt really upset and not because of the stocker error but for the way Laura handle the situation, not even an I'm sorry. Wow!!!! tonight I went here. I had the most embarrassing thing happen to me. I wasnt even drinking. I came here to buy a few diet dr peppers and a vcr tape so i could record some shows. I already had a handful of dr peppers in my arms. So I squat down to grab a few vcr tapes. They are the bottom shelf. A dr pepper almost falls out of my hand. I grab for it and lose my balance. Avoid this CVS Pharmacy. I should have paid attention to the prior bad reviews before me, but decided to fill my prescription here anyway since it's located next to Mitsuwa and I frequent this plaza. It's been 3 months (or 3 prescriptions) and every single time there's been a problem. Two of the times when i arrived they had not filled it yet, despite me calling ahead. One of the time they had filled it, but couldn't find the bag. The most recent time their computer was down for the last 3 hours so they filled it on the spot and told me to come back in 15 minutes. When I returned 20 minutes later they couldn't give it to me because the pharmacist had left for lunch and they needed it to be approved. So i basically waited for 45 minutes for nothing. Oh, and by the way, every time i go here it's extremely short staffed. i don't think I've ever seen the line less than 3 people. I am transferring the remainder of prescriptions to Walgreens or Rite Aid. read more
