I had to call CVS pharmacy in Marina CA + luckily Jane answered the phone. I had a problem because meds I was to pick up at the CVS pharmacy at Marin City CA was incorrectly sent to Marina CA - 123 miles away! I had been really grumpy because of this problem (which was not CVS fault - it was my doctor's office), but because Jane was SO nice, cheerful, professional + helpful, she eliminated all my grumpiness immediately. Anywho, CVS Marina is really lucky to have an employee as awesome as Jane. Jane's a Gem. I hope the "powers that be" appreciate her. read more

I've called and left a voice mail and still nothing, my medication will be out tomorrow and i'm not going to be able to take my next dose. Although, I used CVS pharmacy for decades: I have switched to Mail Order pharmacy, for prescriptions. Mail order is a 90 day supply, for a 60 day cost. Still, get vaccinations at the pharmacy: because they are so efficient, great friendly attitude and very informative. They have the systems, very well organized.On line information accessibility is very good, too! read more

There was a line at the pharmacy. Since I had an appointment, the pharmacist was quick on giving me my flu shot.

Absolutely ridiculous experience. I have been getting my prescription filled here for years. All of a sudden they won't let me fill my prescription because I'm seeing my doctor via telehealth (which I've been doing for the past couple years). They tell me I need a local doctor for the insurance to cover it so I get a local doctor and they send the prescription over again and now they say I can't pickup because I did not physically see my doctor (I had an in person appt but they had to change to telehealth because their front office person resigned). Absolutely absurd. There is no new law stating I need to see a doctor in person, my insurance only has a few local doctors accepting new patients I was lucky to get this one. They are directly denying my access to mental health treatment. Huge disappointment read more

This morning I went into the pharmacy to pick up my husband's RX. The tech told me there were 2 prescriptions but 1 was not ready. She said, she could have it ready in 20 mins. I said, is there any way you could do it sooner?, I am on my way out of town. She said, no we just opened and have a few ahead of you. No problem, you can't fill 4 Vitamin D tabs. I don't have a problem with waiting, the pharmacy just opened. I worked at CVS as a tech, I know it can be done. The pharmacist on staff heard me but did not intervene. I prefer a Pharmacy that doesn't mind going an extra step for it's patient. The staff here generally is not pleasant. The volume at this store can't be very high. You guys are never busy! It doesn't hurt to be kind. read more

Literally have marked multiple times via text options and even informed them in person I do not need the last prescriptions weeks ago. I had a total different prescription from a new doctor sent today and they sent me home with the old ones. This mean if I had not paid attention I would have started a damn steroid drug I didn't need. The man assisting me looked truly out of it which was rather funny but no so funny hope he was ok. When I asked him to update the phone number on the system he said I need to call Corp for that, which makes no sense. They have another system which does have my updated phone number but that's what I was attempting to explain to him--that I do not receive any phone calls that my prescription is ready and I get text messages until the next day that they are. In addition they still have my old address as well. It's certainly not like the great techs that were there before who'd offer to explain the prescriptions for you, the man that "helped" me barely wanted to come out of his coop and was actually rushing me. (You had one job y'all--one job) CVS pharmacy low key trying to kill me lol funny but not that funny. Check your prescriptions. Ask a bunch of questions. read more

This used to be an excellent pharmacy. It has really gone downhill the last few months. Yesterday I got a new prescription for Celebrex to treat arthritis. The pharmacist put it in a bottle that I couldn't open. I had to break the cap with a knife to get at the pills. I took it back today to get another cap for the bottle (that I can open), and spoke to the same pharmacist, who looks about 18 years old. Her excuse: "When we get orders we don't know what the drug is for." Huh?? I thought pharmacists needed six years of college! I guess pharmacy school doesn't teach common sense, because she then handed me an easy-open cap. I had to point out to her that I still can't get the broken cap off. I'll be switching to another pharmacy. Which is too bad, because it's convenient to have a pharmacy inside Target. read more

I used this pharmacy for over two years, and the blonde pharmacy technician is rude and quite unprofessional. Every time I had to deal with her was just plain unpleasant. I've recently been put on new prescriptions for my pregnancy and for some reason this location does not carry my medication, and they kept putting a hold on the medications they do carry saying I needed to contact my doctor. I saw my doctor in person yesterday (as you have a million appointments while pregnant) and she was very clear in letting me know that they should not have put my prescriptions on hold and they in fact have contacted this pharmacy to try to work things out. She also said they have no reason to not fill certain medications that the blonde technician told me they "didn't carry". I've finally changed my pharmacy to a different location, and I'm so thankful I'll never have to deal with such an awful woman again. You'd think she would have some kind of nurturing or caring side working in a field that deals with medication, but she didn't act that way the past couple of years. read more

Was nervous is wouldn't be a good experience and was dealing with a pretty painful UTI and had my two toddlers so I needed it to be quick. The blonde technician with a big personality was very friendly and apologetic that things were chaotic on their end, but apologies weren't necessary because they got me what they needed in a timely manner. read more

Before CVS took over the pharmacy here at Target it was well staffed and efficient. Every time I go to pick up something there are 4 or 6 people in line and only 1 cashier. The staff is all new, not their fault they are doing the best they can with 1 cashier and 1 pharmacist. Now you can't even purchase other pharmaceutical items at their counter. There is a reason I chose Target and not CVS in the first place, time to change to Costco. read more

Couldn't be more unprofessional. I'm just trying to get a dang vaccine that I have a prescription for and am paying cash for and I hear this lazy a** blonde pharmacist or pharmacy tech complaining about how this is "the third special order of the day". She tried talking me out of getting the vaccine after I was already waiting 40 minutes for someone to give it to me and then proceeded to start complaining about it. I'm sorry you don't want my business lady but this is the job you signed up for. Should I have started with the fact that the reason I'm paying cash is because I called the pharmacy twice to make sure that the vaccine I actually needed (and is 100% covered by my insurance) was in stock but then when I got here I was informed that they and all other CVS's don't have it in stock. The end result is that, I'm getting a slightly different vaccine that is not covered whatsoever by my insurance. Now I sit here an hour later because they are worried that the vaccine doesn't have any refills and they want to call my doctor. The next dose of this two-dose vaccine can't be administered until two months from now at the SOONEST, and up to six months later. Can we just freaking address what can be done today and worry about the rest later? This is insane... read more

CVS Pharmac in Target has amazing service. They always greet me by name when i arrive, will try to get things refilled as soon as they can, very professional, welcoming and good customer service. I usually don't do reviews on certain stores but tonight I came and bought shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for myself and as soon as I go up to the cash register to pay. I thought the guy was so weird when the system was down he was literally punching the machine which I thought he could've fixed it before any customers came. I had a bad vibe from him when he was punching the machine to get it to work and he was giving me a dirty look as well. He didn't say hi how are you what not he just looked like he didn't want to be there. Well it's called "fake it till you make it." We all have bad days at work but if you are working with the public you still gotta keep a smile no matter what. I've been working in customer service especially retail for a long time since college so I know we all have our moments and deal with rude people but you can't let that ruin your day. Then as soon as he takes me to the other side of the register he was kind of making conversation but it was a little awkward that he was talking about some of the celebrities on the magazines and started laughing in a weird way. You guys need to be more organized otherwise you will loose customers and have to shut the business down so don't just sit around and do nothing on a slow day. read more
