I have to review because I'm just running in the store for milk and am so amazed at how cheerful the staff are!! Jillian was so incredibly helpful- she greeted me as I approached the counter and after I checked out she then helped another customer find the right product for his coupon. Understocked. Unsynchronized. Underwhelmed. Three times in the past two months, our meds have been out of stock at Washington Ave. CVS. All three of these were generics. Hard to believe they could run out. As a result, they've been unable to synchronize the medications, and we continue to have to make multiple trips. Even when they say the meds will be ready -- they're not. We're truly underwhelmed. read more

Pharmacy is horrible. They do not call you back to inform you details of your prescription. You have to constantly stay on top of them. I pulled all my prescriptions from there. read more

I am really disappointed with the pharmacy. I had a prescription filled, they send a text to say it's ready for pick up. I go to pick it up and they say the prescription order from doctor is now expired so you need to call your doctor. It's always a run around with them. I have had this happen on a few other occasions with my RX as well. read more

Ordered multiple pictures for multiple gifts through one hour photo. I was supposed to get an a confirmation email and I never did. 6 hours later, I called asking status of pictures, they said they never got the order and now they don't have photos so go elsewhere. I should have gone elsewhere to begin with. Huge disappointment read more

I've been coming here for a few years. Always the same issue. My provider calls in an RX, I call to see if it's ready. They say it is. I get there. It's never ready. I understand they are busy I never give them a hard time EVER. Tonight an rx was called in for my sick 8 month old son. My husband called to see if it was ready and he was told it was but our insurance would need to be updated. I went in, stood at the drop off window for ten minutes. Finally the pharmacist acknowledged me and asked if I had an rx to drop off. I explained my sons doctor sent one so I wanted to update my insurance and make sure it was ready and then I would stand in the pick up line. The pharmacist rolled her eyes at me and says "well IM at lunch!" I had no idea what that was supposed to mean. I'm sorry??? Then go to lunch. I'll wait for the next person. The pharmacist goes to grab my sons rx that is wrapped and ready. Hands it to an associate and heads out. The associate checks my insurance, says the rx is ready but the pharmacist has to check it and she just went to lunch so I'd have to wait 30 minutes. It's not even about the wait, the attitude and total lack of care makes me sick. I transferred all my prescriptions I'll never go back. What is wrong with these people? You're literally just trying to be mean. read more

This is review is for the pharmacy only. Let me first say that the pharmacy techs are all always kind and patient, even when I am not. They should get 5 stars! Spoiled by my CVS experience in Irvine, which ran like a well oiled machine, techs were great, my prescriptions always ready on or before my arrival, if there were problems I got a call BEFORE my arrival. This Washington location however is the complete opposite! How these poor techs work under such chaotic conditions shocks me. What kind of pharmacist doesn't pull the doctor calls-ins for days leaving staff scrambling to look for a 4 day old RX that was never entered into the system? All the while I'm blaming my dr for not calling it in?? I'm sure the pharmacist is a nice guy, but his lack of managerial skills will send us all fleeing to other locations; for me maybe back to OC where I can count on my RX being ready before I run out. read more

TERRIBLE customer service! My child was sick with a high fever and they told me it would be 2 hours until the prescription was ready. I told them I wanted the prescription back to go elsewhere and the technician told me that it would take that long anywhere else which is NOT TRUE. She then went on to tell me that if she could stop talking to me and get started it wouldn't take that long, yet still marked down for the pharmacist to have it ready in 2 hours. I will not go back here and will tell everyone I know not to. Worst customer service! I wish I would have gotten the prescription back. read more

This review is for the pharmacy, not the store. The store itself is fine. The pharmacy is TERRIBLE. They've lost, forgotten, and forgotten again a prescription my pediatrician called in for my kids. They treated me like a leper when I didn't have a prescription insurance card. I asked for a generic version of the rx, which they told me didn't exist. I told them I was almost positive I'd had one filled there before but they insisted I was incorrect. I called our Dr. who called in a prescription which they lost. I had to make 3 trips to get it filled. And yes, there was a generic form of the medication. The last time I was there, I showed them the call log of my calling them, the Dr., and them again, yet somehow they still didn't have the rx. Before that, the pharmacist was extremely rude to me but I ignored it. I spoke with the manager about yet another issue that had come up before that. I choose to go elsewhere now. read more

I would not recommend coming here for passport photos. I went in to have a photo done and it took three different people trying to figure out how to do it and how to use the camera. The first person was pushing the wrong button's on their camera and didn't even know how to actually use that particular camera. They finally figured it out and gave me my photos. After waiting in line for an hour to process my passport at the post office, they informed me the photos CVS took are unacceptable because they are not zoomed in enough. I ended up have to go to pay a higher rate at the post office to redo the pictures at that time. Upon returning to CVS to return the photos they took that were unacceptable to use, they only wanted to give me a store credit for the refund when it was their error in the first place. Save yourself a big headache and do passport photos elsewhere! read more
