I understand that pharmacies have to follow state laws however when they have a physician's order that clearly states "start today" they are legally required to follow the RX order. This is another CVS location that claims to offer moneygram services but would not fulfill my $500 receive order claiming they didn't have the cash or a money order machine. This is one of many stores not fulfilling MG orders. I will complain to corporate HQ as it's wasted several hours of my time due to misrepresentation of services and not honoring a contractual obligation. The most pleasant staff at the pharmacy! For years, I have struggled with filling my medications at Walgreens before finally making the switch to CVS. Yes, I am aware that medication stock is somewhat out of pharmacy control but the Walgreens staff had always been rude and dismissive. With that being said, it has been a breath of fresh air since transferring my prescriptions to this CVS location. The staff is so quick to help and I have had zero issues when filling my medications. Went in today for a 2nd Covid booster, along with my husband and 90 yr old neighbor. There wasn't a soul waiting and yet we had to wait and wait and wait. ( we all had appts after they canceled our first appt and I had to re submit all the info online all over again). Finally a very sour looking skinny older blonde woman came over. No greeting or anything, just looked at my elderly neighbor and said " which arm?" I've had all 3 Covid shots and this was the only one that hurt. Liquid was dripping down my arm after she gave the shot. No bandaid. She seemed very burnt out on her job. The nurse CARRIE is an awful miserable woman who hates her job and people. I am astounded that she even works there still. She was so RUDE to me and screamed at me for not wearing a mask when I was trying to find one in my car. She kept complaining about how she had 4 positive test results in front of her like it was somehow my fault? I can't understand why this place is not rated higher! They have employees who've served at this location for YEARS and are always friendly and ready to help. Glenda, for instance, has been at the Pharmacy counter for as long as I can remember. She has gone the extra mile for me on multiple occasions and ALWAYS is one of the nicest people I encounter. Worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. I take medicine that can't be cut off. Told that medicine would he ready by 5pm on Tuesday. Wednesday comes, I call to check on the refill. On hold 20 minutes and am told it will be ready at 1pm. I get inline at 1:25pm. The customer in front of me finishes and the lady running the register says I have to come back at 2 while the metal curtain is lowering. I complain to the head pharmacist who tells me the medicine is there but will have to be filled after 2. This is bar none the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Pretty degrading having a customer stand in front of you and start rolling down the curtain 1 foot from their face. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. You will save time by driving to another one. read more

Do not go to the minute clinic! Especially stay clear of Susan Fiacco! Susan is a FNP which is a family Nurse practitioner and doesn't know how to work with kids. She's extremely unprofessional she didn't want to deal with my sick kid who had an ear infection she was saying extremely rude remarks like " why didn't you take her to her pediatrician" I explained to her how it's Friday and they are not open on the weekends and that my daughter is in pain so I don't want to let it get worse. She then proceeded to say if she doesn't sit still she'll have to go to her pediatrician. I cannot believe a clinician would send a sick person especially a child away if my daughter had developed a fever and ended up in the hospital Susan would have had a malpractice lawsuit on her hands. My other daughter is in school to be a doctor and she came with us and was giving an explanation to Susan of what was going on and Susan asked us how much she weighs since my daughter didn't stand on the scale because she's terrified of medical equipment so my other daughter said "shes about 15 kilos" and Susan goes "what's that in pounds do you even know?" and then proceeded to kick both my kids out of the examination room and shut the door. She only would only speak to me. While she was speaking to me she was looking at the clock the whole time. In conclusion, I implore you to avoid the minute clinic and any encounters with Susan Fiacco. Her unprofessionalism, incompetence, and lack of empathy make her ill-suited for providing care, especially to families and children in need. It is my sincere hope that this review serves as a cautionary tale and prompts necessary changes to ensure that individuals like Ms. Fiacco receive the training and oversight they so desperately need read more

They no longer have in car Covid testing just so you know starting 3/16/22. You now have to go inside for testing which is less convenient. They claim for more of a patient care experience but you would think they care more about the patient by allowing us to test in our car to minimize risks. Makes no sense but oh well. This is the best pharmacy ever!! Sandy was so helpful and compassionate when I received some incorrect dosing information from another provider. She told me the facts and gave me a hug!! I recently had to switch from Walgreens to CVS due to my insurance and I have never been so unhappy and frustrated with a pharmacy or pharmacist. This CVS seems to be worse than the others. They never pick up the phone. I usually have to call the store manager to get some one in the pharmacy to answer the phone and when they do they are extremely rude. Went to the same CVS I've been going to for over 20 years and instead of filling the script properly when I got to the counter they said I owed $550 for my meds, when if fact I owed $35. Don't know if they were trying to commit fraud or just lazy. Either way I had to wait 20 minutes to run my script again, and get back in line when the had my health ins. on file already. Lastly this location has gone down hill so bad, they don't have a drive thru which is dumb, they need one here with the amount of scripts they fill. They are always rude, like they've never seen you before after coming 20 years. CVS needs to get better at customer service and filling scripts properly. read more

It's great that a pharmacist will go beyond their job duty & is not arrogant to help where it is needed. This applies to this location & my nearest location at 3933 E Camelback. My locally owned pharmacy has closed & the new CVS near me doesn't have all their licensing to handle my insurance yet but they gave me the nearest next location. So I came here to fill my new prescriptions. It was nice to see the pharmacist helping me at the drop off window (even though it's not her normal job duty to do so until one of her assistants took over half way). The pharmacist was informative that one of them was not immediately coverable by my insurance but they would inform my doctor to contact my insurance to either find me a replacement or to explain further why this one was recommended to me. When her assistant came to replace her with my second prescription; she kindly explained that she would type faster than her since she's better at it than her because she doesn't normally input. By the way, haha the assistant was a faster typer. When I came back to pick up 15-20 minutes later; my med had to be ordered because they didn't have enough of it to fill my prescription. I didn't realize until after I left that they had tried to call me & left me a message to say it wasn't gonna be ready as originally thought. So they were very informative & tried to keep me updated if I had paid attention to my messages (ooooops my bad luckily I wasn't upset with them just disappointed). read more

SANDY in the Pharmacy gives a new meaning to the word ' RUDE '. I was charged two hundred dollars for a script and had forgotten to use my RX coupons so I went all the way in again because they couldn't figure it all to refund me and use my coupons over the phone. Get all the way there ; dragging my two kids and puppy in , to have her rudely say she has four calls ahead of me and four transfers ahead of me. I was there in person to do this , these other people were not , she could have taken one minute to fix this but she chose not to. I let her know how I felt. Livid basically. I am so appreciative of a pharmacist here going above and beyond to help me get a prescription filled for my dog Benny yesterday. She was incredibly friendly, called a different CVS where a mix-up took place, and even called me back afterwards to confirm that the other CVS had called me to explain something. The fact she was thinking of me 30 minutes later and wanted to ensure I had received the information was really amazing. They were able to resolve the issue which was so appreciated. In addition, when I got to the pharmacy, she helped me get a better deal on the RX thanks to the GoodRX coupon service. Wow. Amazed. Love the retail store & staff but this is the WORST CVS Pharmacy I have been to ever. I tried to like them as they are close to my home & the retail side is lovely. However, after the 5th screw up, I'm done. They refill scripts that I've told them to discontinue( twice), they have not had enough pills in stock twice (a common medication) they text alert that a RX is ready when on arrival it is not. They do not have enough pharmacy techs working so the wait to check out is sometimes 7 people deep. They move/ fill RXs at a snail's pace. I'm a RN, so I get being busy. I also know that in healthcare accuracy & efficiency are fundamental. This pharmacy is deficient in both. read more

The pharmacy at this CVS is awful!! My past two encounters with them have been very frustrating. They are always blaming mistakes on insurance, or the doctor. And when they communicate this information it is always half assed scatter brained matter. It really started to go down hill before this when I went in to pick up perscriptions that I knew where in there and the head tech, an Asian guy said they were not in.
