Seriously the worst customer service at a pharmacy ever. I waited 15 mins with barely an acknowledgement...hell they didnt acknowledge me at all. Theres several signs indicating what lines for what I waited appropriately at the drop off section to be called but nothing. Two people even looked directly at me and said nothing and walked away! This is the WORST piece of messed up ish I've ever experienced. I've never been so livid in my life. I use to frequent this location a lot since I live in the neighborhood but after today not ever again. This is literally the second time in the past year I've been ignored while other people just walk up to the counter and rudely cut me off AND get helped! Serious? What happend to servicing customers who wait PATIENTLY? If I'm in the incorrect line or you've changed how you are servicing people at least tell someone and not let them just stand there like an idiot. read more

Discrimination at this store is VERY real! If I could leave a review without any stars, I would. I took my dog in after I saw a woman take hers in. The store manager, Louis, decides to tell me there are no dogs allowed after he clearly sees the woman in front of me with hers. I tell Louis to let her know (pointing at the woman) as well and I take my dog back outside. I was ok with taking my dog outside & tying him to the bike rack. Then I see the lady in line next to Luis. So he clearly did NOT tell her the same thing like he said he was going to do. I proceed to go out and get my dog, just for the sake of principle. Again, Louis came back at me. This time explaining no dogs allowed because of health reasons. Then again I ask, what about the lady in line with hers? Yet, still nothing said to the other dog owner. A letter has gone out to their corporate office and seeing the bad reviews on here, I hope they makes changes to the store management quick! read more

Let me preface this review by saying that I also am a healthcare provider... I have been undergoing some health issues and have had to use my local pharmacy to fill some prescriptions over the last few months. I was astonished to find out what it is like to be on the other end of prescribing - as a patient and not a healthcare provider, and I can understand why pharmacists now have such a horrendous reputation in the healthcare world. I can honestly say that every single interaction I have had with a CVS pharmacist at this location has been absolutely terrible. Just today, I interacted with Diana N. Lok, a pharmacist, who failed to treat me with any dignity. Maybe I wouldn't be so upset by behavior like this had it been a barista at Starbucks making minimum wage and not 150k a year like this pharmacist. Diana Lok was rude and disrespectful and just an all round horror. I left wondering why people like that plague the healthcare system. Like every other healthcare provider, pharmacists take oaths to do no harm and do the best in their ability to help their patients- but I have never been treated like a human being that matters at CVS- especially not at this location. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I wish the manager would address the attitude problems the pharmacists at this location have. If you aren't going to treat people with empathy and respect, you shouldn't be in healthcare (I'm hoping you are reading this Diana Lok and I wish the board of pharmacy would take your license back because you don't deserve it one bit). It truly saddens me and makes me wonder why people like Diana go into healthcare in the first place other than to make six figures. The worker Aj was harassing my two friends! He kicked them out of the store and yelled continuously. He needs to be fired immediately. No products were thrown as he claimed, a toy ball was bounced once and he used that as an excuse to expose his racism. I never write negative reviews, but action needs to be taken. They were extremely compliant and respectful in their reaction to his tantrum, apologizing and trying to communicate with him that nothing was thrown. The other worker had no complaints about the two girls and was just about to check them out when Aj snatched their item and kicked them out of the store for no valid reason. Completely inappropriate and a terrible experience at this CVS location. The other negative reviews validated that the customer service overall is terrible! read more

I walk in trying to purchase alcohol BY MYSELF and the cashier says show me your ids (plural????) and I showed my ID, he then proceeds to say show me you and your friends ID (I WAS ALONE !!!!????) and I was so confused like who in this store are you taking about??? He was super dismissive and swatted me away like a fly and said " have a good night"super sarcastically while to swat me away like a fly. So bizarre and rude. This review is only for getting the Covid vaccine. 1. Online process at CVS Covid website was easy. When the site is busy, they tell you to keep the browser open and the page will appear when not busy. It came on within 7 minutes. Easy to find a local CVS that had vaccine. They let you know which vaccine is being given. When I logged on yesterday to schedule, there were plenty of appointments available at many different CVS locales. Filling out the form online was easy and took about 5 minutes as they asked for insurance info. 2. Getting the vaccine: When I arrived at the CVS I was greeted by an employee dedicated to checking in vaccine appointments. I received my vaccine right on schedule by a very friendly pharmacist. She told me she was a Cigna pharmacist. I was given my vaccine card and told when to come back for the second dose. They ask you to wait 15 minutes after receiving the vaccine before leaving the CVS. All in all a very nice experience and would recommend getting the vaccine here if you have a choice and can do it. read more

Not sure if the pharmacist knows how to read prescriptions. My doctor sent a specific brand for my medication and they decided to change it even on the prescription it mentioned dispense as written!!! Not substitute as you please!!! I have been going to this pharmacy for years, and never had much problem other than typical rush hour waiting times. But that is to be expected. Today, there was an emergency at the store, apparently a refrigeration leak so the whole store was closed. Fine, understandable. However, when you are relying on them to fill a prescription, how is there no communication that the store is closed so you should have your prescription filled elsewhere if you cannot wait? The doctor sent in the e-prescription at 11am. I call the pharmacy to confirm status, and the automated phone system put me on hold for an hour. I hung up and called back 30 min later. Again I was out on hold for over 30 min before I decided it would be faster to walk in at 2pm. That is when I found out the store was closed. Yet there was a staff member manning the door. Ok, they were waiting for the fire dept. Maybe they will open again this afternoon. I get an automated text around 2pm that my order is getting processed and will be ready by 6pm. But if I wanted it sooner, I could request that thru the automation. 4pm, I get a text that the prescription is ready to be picked up. So I go to the store again only to find 4 people saying there is nothing you can do, the store is still closed. No one could answer the phones all day b/c no one was there to pick up the phones. Yet there was a group of them hanging out at the door, so.......I told them I really needed the prescription and wished they would have advised people to transfer their prescription earlier in the day. They just shrugged. Seems like they need a system for when a pharmacy shuts down for those in need of their medication- a recording on the phone system that says they are closed due to an emergency with unknown reopening time, a sign on the door....anything. Any simple solution instead of just sitting around doing nothing with no info.! Why does CVS Pharmacy not have a protocol? read more

I probably shop here too often, but I have to say all the employees I encountered have been very pleasant and helpful. I love how they welcome each customer in the store, very midwest values and mannerisms. If only some customers could be less stuffy and self-absorbed and say thank you back! Hate this place. Manager and employees are very rude...both up front and at the actual pharmacy. They seem miserable, always frowning, never greeting you...just demanding your name and birth date. Same up front..no smile or greeting, just "CVS number?". Very understaffed, so there is always an extremely long line at the pharmacy. Then, when you finally get to the register to request your prescriptions, the give you a nasty attitude. If you call in to avoid the line, the pharmacist will interrupt you in the middle of each and every sentence. They seem bothered to have to work with customers. This obviously plays into the long lines because they move at a snail pace while they appear to suffer through dealing with each customer. It's a horrible experience. Makes it even worse that they have three registers at the pharmacy, but always just one person running a register. This can only be blamed on awful management. read more

The staff is usually pretty friendly. Selection is decent though they don't take advantage of all the new apt dwellers nearby. No magic eraser sponges. What?! Lines are a bit slow but first world problem. They just took out of all their garden I People in PV don't leave if we don't have to son more home goods on the shelves would behoove them. I was there before rush hour and asked for my prescription- they didn't receive it yet so I called the doctor and chase it. It finally came and when it did after waiting- the pharmacist said it'll be ready in an hour! I was in pain and asked if they can make any allowances- he ignored me and carried on working. I understand people are overworked- however it's not my fault he is a pharmacist. Lighten up the act and maybe listen to customers in a consumer facing environment? This is the friendliest and helpful CVS I've ever been too! I disagree with any negative reviews about the staff being unfriendly. YASIR CHAUDHRY (store manager) greets you with a friendly hello without fail every single time we are in there. I've been to the pharmacy and they have always been polite and patient with me. Every single staff member treats you like you're their number one priority and the gal in the makeup section is always super sweet and helpful. Yasir is doing a great job managing. I won't go to any other CVS if I don't have to. This is the best one. It's smaller than some other CVS's but super convenient with plenty of parking and shops and restaurants nearby to enjoy as well. Due to a change in our insurance plan, we are forced to go to a cvs pharmacy now. I had to transfer my prescriptions over, but in order to do so I had to show up and have them call my old pharmacy to transfer it. I go to the drop-off window, let them know what I needed and then 45 min later, the pharmacist called me over and asked if I was waiting for a prescription. I told her yes, she checks the system, and I'm not in it as far as a prescription. I told her that they were supposed to call and have it transferred and she said, "oh". It's now 2 hours since I have walked into the store and I am still waiting. She has since checked in and said my old pharmacy put her on hold. I guess I should be grateful that she acknowledged that I was still here, but I still feel like bursting into tears. Once I get my prescription, I will transfer the balance to a different cvs. Having to pay for parking because I waited past the 1 hr validation was icing on the cake. I asked for extra validation and they would not give it to me. Why should I have to pay to get my prescription?! read more

UPDATE: Today I went and there were 5 people there so it appears they're more properly staffed. HOWEVER, there were lines in both pick up and drop off and 2 different people had to go up and ask the staff if anyone was planning on helping them. It doesn't appear to be a numbers issue but a customer service one. CVS is definitely my pharmacy of choice but the pharmacy here is incredibly understaffed. There is always a wait when dropping off, picking up, and when you call in - I just waited on hold for 25 minutes. I know the pharmacists are doing the best that they can but whoever manages this store really needs to make it a priority to have enough people working. Additionally, a corporate issue but the music they play while you're on hold on the phone is the WORST music ever. read more

The pharmacy needs to step up it's game. Poor customer service skills, always busy and not staffed, takes forever to get prescriptions filled and if you have an issue that requires a doctor to call in for assistance, you'll be waiting there all day. To top it off, they aren't very friendly or apologetic about it. So, let's talk about this pharmacy. CVS gets a lot of beef because they're CVS pharmacy. But this CVS is getting it done right. I came in 10 minutes before closing. Brian, Lianne, and Selasie were running around like crazy trying to get the place buttoned up. My wife and I are going through the whole name change thIng, and we had a really important prescription to get filled last minute. But the doctor had accidentally put it in the wrong name, so Selasie and Brian helped me get the whole thing sorted out with smiles and good jokes (and Brian has the freshest look ever, BTDubs, keep that rolling, bro), then Lianne put it together and had me out of there in no time. Honestly, CVS kind of deserves a bad rep, we all know it, and I think even they know it. But this particular CVS is unusually awesome, and this crew killed it. You guys saved us big time, so thank you Brian, Lianne, and Selasie (and special shout out to Heidy)!! read more

I recently moved to the area near CVS, and after transferring my prescriptions to CVS I had gone there several times without any problems. Unfortunately, today was different. I received a text that my meds were ready for pickup. Among them were test strips for a glucose-testing meter. Coincidentally, I had just broken the meter that I had been using for several years. I called the company for the meter and they said I was eligible for a new, free meter. All I had to do was download the voucher card and go to a participating pharmacy (of which CVS was one) and get my new meter. The voucher specified that I needed a prescription for the test strips from my doctor, and then all I had to do was show CVS the voucher and I would get the meter. Easy peasy, right? Uhh, no. The sales clerk said I also needed a prescription for the meter itself. I showed her the voucher instructions. It only specified a prescription for the test strips, not the meter. Obviously, I had a prescription on file for the strips, otherwise I couldn't be getting them from CVS. So now my doctor has to be contacted to write a prescription for the meter, and she may not be available in the next day or two. So I am not able to test my blood glucose for several days. Thankfully, my situation is not that grave. Regardless, this is about CVS being officious and unresponsive to a customer. I'm deliberating whether I will move my prescriptions to another pharmacy. read more

Everyone who works here in the pharmacy is clearly disappointed with their decision they've made with their careers. It's a shame when you walk in somewhere and you can feel the horrible attitude emanating from a soul sucking employee. It makes it very hard to want to come back. It especially blows when it's somewhere that you HAVE to go, like the pharmacy. Please, CVS employees, if you're going to be terrible at the one and only job you're assigned, choose something easier. Or at least don't be lazy and dissatisfied and take it out on your customers. Go back to school and find something that fulfills you instead of being a total axe wound in the arm of the earth.
