I work for CVS but never shop at my own store because I love my local store too much. This store is always so clean and organized. I can find things super easily. But the best part about the store is the CVS guy formally known as Michael. He is always so awesome and polite even to rude customers. I really appreciate how the management lets him dress up for special occasions and wear his quirky ties and pins. It makes the store feel really cozy and personal. He always asks me about things I had mentioned the last visit and knows my whole family! Great store read more

CVS got what ya need. Definitely not a main store, nor a popular one. But hey if you live around the area the convenience is quite dandy. You can go get some supplies, eat some baked goods, get a nacho plate, get a hair cut, then go grab a beer all at the same time if you come to this CVS. The workers are more personable because of the humbled CVS they work at. Not just your everyday chore of working, but actually care about customer satisfaction. I've been coming here for quite some time now as I live in the area and this store is always easy to park at and quick to check out of. I always have a positive experience and even enjoy the other patrons of this store. The store is clean (out front and inside), well stocked, having exactly what I am looking for regardless if it's on sale or not and the staff is friendly and inviting. The cashiers actually get genuinely excited when I get coupons and always point out the ones that I am actually interested in. However today Peggy and Anthony went above and beyond for me and my family. I came in fresh from the doctor with an inner ear infection. I was not a happy camper to say the least. I had just got a new key fob in the mail from my health insurance provider and it offered me a discount on generic CVS brand over the counter drugs. I had accidentally used my old phone number attached to my old card at the pharmacy checkout counter and therefore didn't get the discount. I went to the front to resolve it. Peggy tried her best to credit me back my purchase but because I had purchased a pharmaceutical product I had to go back to the pharmacy to return it. Anthony (store manager) had been called to assist Peggy and he ended up beating me back to the pharmacy where he personally ensured that my return went well back there. Now I was not being calm, nor gentile but rather brash and unhappy because I felt horrible and just wanted to go home and take my medicine. I am very loud due to a booming voice I was blessed with and I was acting like a two year old with a sailor mouth. (upon the medicine kicking in I felt horrible for my actions) They were professional and most importantly caring during my real time of need. I felt horrible and just needed to get through getting my medicine so I could get well. I felt as though the entire staff of this CVS jumped as high as I asked, each time I asked, without complaint. I come here because it's convenient, I will continue to come here if at all possible if I ever move away due to the service I receive . If good service, well stocked shelves, and quick check out matter to you, you will come here too. Heck the Red Box out front is always busy and yet usually has what I want too! This is the corner drug store, literally... come get your slice of modern day Americana. read more

This store is way understaffed. Corporate doesn't care. Plan on waiting for hours for a prescription.

The straight scoop: One good thing about this CVS, to follow later. In the meantime, here are the reasons why this place sucks: - Moribund everything. - Staff consists almost entirely of older, unenthusiastic women. - Place gives the impression that most of the products have been sitting on the shelf for two-years plus. - Despite being uncrowded, the pharmacy sucks - either my prescription isn't ready or they don't have enough pills and have to use the generic. - The florescent lighting is blinding like no other. - I have spent two years debating whether to drive 3X as far to another CVS just to avoid this one, but one thing prevents me from doing so: Michael at the checkout counter. If they aren't paying this guy six figures a year, he ought to strike. The guy is Exhibit A on professionalism, sincerity and hard work, like few other people I've met in any line of work. What keeps this gem of a person coming to work in this location is one of Planet Earth's mysteries. For Chrissakes, his St. Patrick's Day routine alone is the greatest act in town. Spencer is an excellent employee. I called ahead to see if there was a certain product in stock and he made sure to talk to me 2 different times to find exactly what I wanted. It's just another CVS...not much more to say. It seems to be a staple place to get midnight munchies for the local potheads since this is just about the only place (other than fast food places and Vons) that's open late. I guess what makes this one special is the people that work here. They're generally nice and will use their store CVS card for discounts if you don't have your own. read more

We have been using the pharma for years and the line for getting your prescription has gotten longer and longer, and the wait times have as well. Just greed, by not getting more help. But yesterday was the last straw. I went in on the way back from my wife's oral surgery with pain medicine perscritions. I asked for a pill until I pick up the rest...remember, we have been going for years and are not junkies! Jenny Senior (real name) said no. I begged. She wanted to show who was in charge, So she looked at the prescription and declared the date looked different so she could not fill it...seriously???? I was insulted by her obvious power demonstration and called her on it. The manager came over and of course backed her. I stormed out and went around the corner and got them filled in 1/3 the time..I will NEVER set foot in there again. read more

Out of all the CVS stores in the area this is by far the cleanest, well stocked, and friendly CVS. This is the only CVS that I feel like I can walk through the door and see some behind the register with a smile. read more

This one star is for the pharmacy only. I have had three prescriptions filled here and each time it was a catastrophe. The first time, I was told it would be 15 minutes, so I said I had other shopping to do so I'd wait. The lady at the counter said she would page me in the store when it was ready. Well, 20 minutes later I walk up to the counter, and she and the pharmacist were busy so I sat down at the chair next to the counter, clearly visible to them both. Finally, 30 minutes later, I stood up and asked if the prescription was ready, and the same lady who helped me asked me who I was and if I could be helped (I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE STORE!). I felt like Ben Stiller when he was at the airport waiting for his number to be called to board the plane when no one else was around. I told her my name and she reached back and grabbed the prescription from the basket and said it had been ready for a while. I told her I was told I was supposed to be paged, she rang me up, no apology. The second time, I dropped off my prescriptions in the after hours Dropbox and put up the flag to alert the staff when they got to work about an hour later. I went back to the store TWO days later and they claimed they never got the prescriptions and they were not filled. I told them I put them in the drop box and they looked inside, there they were with several other people's prescriptions. I could tell they were embarrassed. This was completely unsatisfactory! Imagine if any of those other prescriptions were someone's life saving medications, WHAT IF I HAD NOT SHOWN UP, WHEN WERE THEY GOING TO CHECK THAT BOX? Since they "just got" my prescriptions, two days after I left them there, I was told it would be about 15 minutes. * see previous paragraph. Needless to say, I said I'd return the following day and hoped they would finally be ready. They were. 4. Days. Later. Third time... You'd think I'd learn by now, but I had a faint feeling they couldn't suck every single time. Boy was I wrong! I dropped off my prescription at 5:00 pm on a Friday and told them I could be back the following day around 1000. The lady said it would be no problem, or if I wanted to wait, it would be about 15 minutes. I opted for the next day option. Well I returned at 10:30 am, the lady said it was not ready and she just had to print up the label, but she would get on it. The pharmacist was talking with an elderly woman about her prescription for a very long time. There was another elderly woman in line and a man who was trying to just get rung up and leave. The lady at the counter said he had to wait for the Pharmacist to consult with him, and he said he did not need a consult. The lady at the counter said he had to decline directly to the pharmacist. He looked as perturbed as I was starting to feel. I had to get to an event at 1100 and thought this would be a 5 minute transaction. Well the first elderly lady as done, the man declined directly to the pharmacist and then she began talking to the second elderly lady who had a hundred questions. I understand she was there first. But when the other counter lady kept apologizing to me, saying, "just a few more minutes." I could not understand what I was waiting for. I said I really had to leave she said she just needed the pharmacist to "check it off". I told her I had to leave without my prescription. On the way out, I complained to the acting manager who said she would tell the supervisor who was at lunch. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING FOR PRESCRIPTIONS AGAIN!!!! read more

I always receive a warm greeting from the cashier in this CVS when I enter. The store is clean, well-stocked, and easy to shop. It has a great selection of greeting cards, so I often come here to buy birthday cards for family and friends. I appreciated the friendly service that I received today from Jared and Candace as I shopped and checked out. read more

Normally the employees in this store are pretty friendly , but lately they've been hiring new people and the young gentleman that served me this morning gave me a poor impression. He didn't really greet me and he moved my bag to the side like it was garbage and even worse, he didn't even bag my items. He had no eye contact either, weird! Maybe he was having a bad morning although I think he's actually their new manager, he does not belong in front and is not used to being at the register that was obvious. It's too bad just because they have a degree that they get to manage stores with no people skills or retail experience. read more

I work at a salon in the Westwood shopping center where this CVS is located. We shop at CVS almost daily for supplies and personal needs. My colleagues and I spend hundreds of dollars here a month. We are always helped kindly, quickly and referred to by name. The staff especially Peggy, Mary, Pam, Olga & Spencer (and Patti-older woman with white hair?) are friendly, helpful and just awesome. Most of the managers are too, with the exception of Candace. I rate the store a 4, when it is a 5, due to this manager. I came into the store today noticing the regular staff not around and Candace up front alone. I went to self check my lotto tickets and a co-workers but was having some difficulty with the machine. I didn't want to bug anyone with my mindless task. I tried a few more time but was still failing. I asked for Candace's help. Annoyingly she preceeded to help me. Mind you I was the only customer around. After 30 seconds 2 customers came up and got in line where she had been stationed to check out. She told me she had to stop helping me & help others. My needs weren't important. I needed to buy a few things from her but she just stopped helping me and disregarded my needs. I was the only customer she had when we started my transaction but clearly stated she could stop helping me to help someone else. She was rude, incorrect and unhelpful. I will not return if she is working and or avoid her. She ruined my great CVS comfort & happiness. Candace you need more management training. Your staff on the other had Rocks! read more
