Your customer service representative was polite but failed to adhere to her statement to me about checking on time frames for compounding my prescription. I mentioned to her that I was leaving Saturday at 3am, for out of country trip and if for any reason that time frame was unrealistic then please DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FILL PRESCRIPTION, and I will be happy to find another way. She whole heartedly agreed and stated she would call me back on this before end of day. Unfortunately, she never did this and I noticed 15 minutes later a charge came in on my American Express Platinum business card for this particular transaction SO I assumed the answer on time frames was that yes, it was going to be able and done for pickup on Friday. On Friday, at exactly 10.07am since I had not heard from any employee at Koshland Pharmacy, I called and Tatianna answered phone. She was polite but hurried and again, said she did not know the status of aforementioned order and she definitely was swaying towards not being done on Friday,( pls keep in mind they charged me 10 minutes after my phone order on 7-10 @ 10.53am and no call back for answer to my initial question. She said she would have to call me back. I definitely told her that if not done in time for my pickup on Friday, I would need to cancel and have American Express platinum card reverse charges. I must admit I was frustrated but NO PROFANITY EVER. She was rude at this point and no more communication took place. I have all my call logs and I definitely recorded the telephone call under Oregon Law. I have the entire recording and I had my team go over it and no impropriety's were noted. Koshland is guilty of very inferior and rude customer service, Lack of promised communication between Patient, and Koshland pharmacy staff, Charging credit card before delivering the product OR charging before any acceptance, permission, was given. Although Koshland pharmacy said they called me AFTER the aforementioned prescription was ready for pickup in late afternoon, This is not true as my call logs are computer logged and checked hourly. I have call logs, telephone recordings, and transcribed conversations. My credit card company is aware and investigating. I will accept a call from only the OWNER at my 541 area code number if he would like to discuss this. I would welcome this so let's see if he has the where with all to appreciate the situation and de-escalate to defuse and solve this issue. Since it was across the street from the hospital, we knew that the location was used for servicing out-patient clients. This fall the Davies pharmacy said they were closing/relocating and would transfer our meds to the Walgreen's Diamond Heights location. We stayed with the Diamond Heights Walgreen's until their pharmacy person answering the phone became inpatient with my questions about dosage and hung up on me. That was the final straw, especially since I had been waiting in the phone queue for more than fifteen minutes! We needed a new, full-service pharmacy with pleasant, friendly staff. Thank you Walgreens for your impatience and forcing us out the door. We wanted our new pharmacy to be full-service and have staff who are not burned out from the grind of the industry. Since our primary is at UCSF, we transferred our meds and have no regrets. Due to major construction on Parnassus, the parking can be challenging. We have used the free delivery option at those times when necessary. One of the best parts of picking up our meds is that there's no long lines of people waiting to be next.
