Fairly decent Bath & Body Works when I stopped by quickly to peruse their wares. Decent stock, it's a bigger mall store, but it's not super overly stocked or crowded in terms of their displays, which is a bit different from the other ones I've been to, but that might be a good thing considering that there's less of a chance of people bumping into candles and other things and shattering them. Everything was clean and organized, no random trash left everywhere, testers were clean, sink area was clean, took a bit of time for my app to load but it might be because it was a super hot day and my phone was still recovering from how insanely hot it was outside, and I was greeted to and said goodbye by the staff. I couldn't really find any of the the Nightmare Before Christmas collaboration goods here, but from what I heard that instantly sold out literally everywhere, so it's not just this store. read more

The one star isn't for the products in the store. It's for the staff in the store. This is the B&BW closest to my home. I've had multiple issues with the rudeness of the staff. It's not any one person in particular, which tells me that the management is failing here. It seems like this store runs on their own policy. Customer service is non existent here. more than once I've have online in store pick up orders with items that have been canceled. Then when I arrive the items are on the shelf. They will not honor the sale price that i purchased the item with. Or allow me to det the coupon discount. There is absolutely no customer service. They also seem to make their own hours. I've arrived at times when there hours are listed as open and the store is yet open. There is usually someone at the front greeting customers, which is great. But, it should be a staffer who legitimately wants to help a customer. Not roll their eyes when there asked to show the customer where a product is at. Today was the straw that broke my back. I will now have to drive to Orange or Costa Mesa if I want to shop at Bath and Bodyworks. I called over the phone to see if they had product in stock and was told, "I am not allowed to give that information over the phone." Then I asked for her name and she said, "I am not allowed to give that information over the phone." I do not need to spend my money in a store with this type of associates. read more

Normally come here for my wife to buy her the favorite lotions and sprays that she likes. Get the hand sanitizer here too. And lately we have been getting the hand soap here. The wife saw that her favorite hand soap flavor also has shampoo and conditioner, so had to pick her up some. Ordered online so there was no looking around the store for it as I did pick up. This location is better stocked than most, and checkout is quicker here than any location I've been to, even during the holidays! But, the employees don't greet you and offer help like all other locations. This doesn't bother me, but it's something you may need to know before shopping. My boyfriend placed an online order on 12/16 and since it was 12/20, he called earlier this morning to confirm it was still there for pick up. The original representative who helped me was great. She found my order on the shelf, but wasn't sure why my order # wasn't showing on their iPad. She called over Layda (I'm assuming was the manager), and just the immediate experience with her was off-putting. Layda told me that the order expired and even though they still had the order on the shelf, there's nothing they could do. I informed her that my boyfriend called this morning to check and just wish we would've been told that so I could save a trip to the store expecting this pick up. She then puts it back on me saying, "did he ask how long you guys had to pick it up?" and goes on to say the orders expire based off the time it was placed so by the minute/hours not by day; and I tell her how were we supposed to know to ask that? She says again there's nothing they can do with a (you're SOL kind of attitude throughout the entire conversation) and I can't even rebuy it in store or have other options. There's just "Nothing" they can do. Overall, working in retail for 10+ years I understand these things happen especially when it's system based so it is what it is. What's uncalled for is Layda's attitude which is a controllable. We thought we did our part by calling to confirm, how were we supposed to know how their system works? 2 stars for their customer service (0 stars for Layda), best to just shop at another location. read more

They're located close to Macy's on the second floor. I've been here twice and both times experienced no crowds and pleasant and attentive employees. The only complaint was the selection of candles on sale were limited. On any other day they would have every scent of candle, but on sale day they only had the less desirable and/or seasonal scents. One of the ladies said I could always come in at a later time and exchange the candle for another scent when it comes back in stock. The employees here were busy restocking shelves everywhere and always acknowledged customers and asked if they could help them out. read more

Love the products here but the staff operate questionably here. I've had issues with exchanges at this location on more than one occasion only to find out at another location that it never should have been an issue at all. This store seems to operate on its own policies so just be careful or better yet, just go to any other Bath & Body Works location. Saw them start closing up a half-hour before the posted close time once too. If this location is still open a year from now, I'll be surprised. read more

I love the customer service at these stores! I have never had a crabby employee yet! They all seem to love their job and will suggest things in a "would you be interested in..." way, versus trying to get at me with a hard sale. Turn off. One star is removed only because they have so many seasonal scents, and when I find one that I love, the next time I go, it's gone!!!!!!!!!!!!! So heartbreaking. Their sales are great. I had a really great experience with Vanessa helping me locate some wall flower recharge scents. I was kinda bummed the store was a little messy , but will definitely be back. For some people with lots of scent sensitivity be careful walking in and people testing the sprays not being mindful of others. I was there this weekend a girl named Jossy helped me get my body care. Her customer service is AMAZING and my kids loved her. I use to work retail and I know what it's like to deal with upset customers and they can be a handful. Anyways she had a customer that was upset because the fragrance she was looking for was discontinued. The customer was rude and a little mean and the mom in me was about to come out to defend this girl but I didn't have to Jossy handled it so well she was calm and understanding she showed empathy and was able to get the customer to calm down by giving her other suggestions or tips on where to find it. She even showed her another scent that she ended up liking even more thanked her and left happy. I was so impressed. And she kept the same energy with everyone that was shopping. All of the associates were so nice the boy at the register even told me about the free item I had I was so glad I came in. Definitely going back! read more

At least once a year we come here, mothers day, for my ex wife and my kids remind me that it is tradition to shop here. The store is full of helpful girls ready to spray you with fruit spray (not in your mouth), and give you lotion samples. If I worked here and was a teenage girl, like every person helping us, I would hate this job, giving men lotion samples and telling them how good they smell... no thanks. this girls that helped us were great and the up sell here is a great deal, so I bet they bat at least 50% (500). read more

I spend a lot of time and money and have never had any issues with customer service and staff in store until coming back to my own hometown and entering this location. My family and I will not be shopping at this location again. We went this weekend and were denied entry into the store because some of us were carrying bottled water that was closed. We were told by the manager Leyda that it was a new store policy because many people drop their drinks inside their store. Keep in mind this was on a scorching hot summer day. We inquired about any exceptions for people for whom it is medically necessary to have water and she said it didn't matter. Last night, 31 July, I went into this Bath & Body Works to pick out some last-minute presents for my friends, and asked the associate at the front if I could use a $10 off of $30 coupon that had expired a few days prior. The associate assured me that I could still use the coupon, and that it would be honored at the register. Sure enough, a second associate honored the coupon for me at the register, no problem, and even went so far as to apply it to my second purchase, similarly with no dispute. However, I was upset when I saw another customer come up to the register, assisted by the same associate who had promised me they would honor the coupon at the front, and be denied multiple times for the same coupon that I had. I understand that Bath & Body Works is a company, and is therefore trying to make a profit where they can. And this review is not a reflection of the company itself, but of these two associates, who felt it was appropriate to honor a coupon for one customer, and deny a second customer the SAME coupon right in front of them. It felt exclusionary and biased, and does not make this location one that I plan to shop at in the future. When one of the associates noticed my discomfort at the situation, she tried to cover her steps, reminding me that the coupon had expired and they were making an exception. However, she did not have a response when I asked her why that exception had been made for me, and not the other Guest, particularly right in front of her. I have reached out to Bath & Body Works customer service, and they were similarly disappointed and shocked by this poor example of customer care. Good on the company for being proactive, and promising to coach this store, but shame on these associates. I would advise against shopping here until these associates have been properly coached on treating each and every customer with the same respect and integrity, rather than making them feel blatantly discriminated against. read more

Seriously, what the heck? On (July 31), I went to make an exchange right at 10 AM when the store should open. They were closed with no notice or sign... nothing to indicate the closure reason. The lights were on in the store, but the door was closed to the public. I waited until 10:45 AM, called customer service, but they were unable to reach the manager/staff. One word of advice - ALWAYS CALL in advance to make sure the store is open before you make the drive here. I wasted 45 minutes of my time + gas money for NOTHING. I came to the mall purposely to visit bath and body works. I had gotten 2 coupon a couple days before. While walking towards the store I realized they started on 7/8 and today is 7/6. I said oh well I'll have to come back. After stopping at auntie Anne's to get a pretzel I ran into my cousin and after all the hellos she asked what I was shopping for. I told her my main mission was to go into BBW to use my coupon but then realized it was expired. She said I did the same thing but they honored my coupon. I asked are you sure and she assured me that they'd take it. I had already picked up 3 foam hand soaps and a couple 3 wick candles, my daughter was off looking for a free item under $6. I decided to ask about honoring my coupon before I made a fool of myself but as it turns out I still made a fool of myself! No one seemed to remember honoring my cousins coupons and they said I wasn't able to use them. I put all my stuff down and walked out. The moral here is that if you're going to pick and choose who you honor stuff for just remember that that person might happen to tell another and you have no choice but to honor theirs too. I came in last Tuesday after 6pm and was greeted by Christian. He was very nice and helped me find what I needed. There was a summer wallflower that I was hoping was still in stock but I was introduced to other scents that were very pleasant. I picked up 5 foam hand wash bottles for $18. I always seem to think that the deals are way too cheap because everything smells so good and they last a very long time in my house. Rude Customer Service! I'm not even sure if the cashier I D # 1637228, is the correct person, as the person ringing me up was working 2-3 registers to keep lines down. The clerk didn't ask didn't ask if I found everything I needed, or will that be all, he didn't even wait to finish my transaction before moving on to another customer; bouncing between me and the other customers. The Cashier has his arm loaded with bags, so he can throw your items in the bag and get you away from his counter as soon as possible as if the customer is a huge inconvenience. With a Cashier like this it's POINTLESS!!!! You might as well have self check out because he's useless and doesn't value the customer. He didn't even greet us, again a would have been less offended if it was a self check out. I WILL NOT be back to this Location EVER! I will go back to the Outlets of Orange, at least they appreciate Customers and Realize without Customers there would be no store or job. read more

I hadn't been in a B&BW for years until about a month ago while walking aimlessly around the mall during my lunch break to get some steps in I decided to stop by. I was immediately greeted by a super friendly employee who asked what I was looking for, I told her I was just browsing and she politely let me be. I picked out a couple of small candles and was quickly handed a bag to help carry them along with the tip that they recently started a rewards program, she said that they were running a promotion that would allow me to save more on the candles I had already picked out. I downloaded the app, and paid just $6 each for my single wick candles after the promotion. I am now OBSESSED with these candles. They last just as long as Yankee candles with just as much reach and a fraction of the price. My app notified me last week know that the larger three-wick candles were on sale for $10.50 (usually $24.50) plus I received a $10 off $30 reward for opening a rewards account and they were running a $10 off $40 promotion. I went and purchased 7 three-wick candles for $53 (plus tax) - less than $8 each! I'm stocked up for the year plus have multiple to give as gifts. I would recommend keeping an eye on their sales! read more

terrible. the cashier was lying to me. I bought a scent dispenser with night light and the light did not lit up. I brought in the store to exchange for another one. I asked the cashier to plug in the outlet next to the check out counter to make sure it work before I get it. It did not lit up either. She took it to another outlet that I did not see and came back and said it work when she shake it. I believed in what she said and took it home. It did not work in all outlets at home and at work. I was very disappointed with this place, i went in there with my girlfriend and my 1 1/2yr old child, i would walk out of the store when my son would get fussy as to not annoy other customers, until maybe the 3rd time an employee told me to stop coming in and out because of their sensored customer counter.
