These guys at the pharmacy are the best. I am in there every week and they all know me by name. Considering the number of people who come through there I am amazed at how great the service is. This CVS is awful. The pharmacy is staffed with people who don't seem to care. I experienced rude, unhelpful, robotic-type people. I just need 2 prescriptions filled. What I got was, we don't have it...I asked do you know of a pharmacy near by: "no". Unfriendly. I found Walgreens on Bristol thanks to Yelp. I suggest going there. If I could give this pharmacy any less than 1 star, I would. This has to be the WORST pharmacy every. Every time i am there, I vow never go to back, but I do because of its convenience to my home. Without fail, something always goes wrong-- and without fail they always ask "did you just drop off your prescription?" NO! I have a phone call, a text message and a carriage pigeon all telling me its ready, and when I get there, they never seem to be able to locate my prescriptions. They are slow as slugs and customer service is definitely not their strong suit. Every time I ask a question, they take forever to answer it or avoid it all together so that I end up just saying "Give me my prescriptios, I just want to leave!" I don't really leave reviews, but tonight the store manager of this CVS, Tom, displayed the most incompetent and immature customer service I have EVER seen. I went to this CVS with my good friend who is set to have surgery on his shoulder in the coming months and misplaced his arm sling. While we were in line to pay for the sling, my friend accidentally knocked over a small candy stand. The store manager, Tom, walked over and we apologized. He said nothing and walked off. I then walked over to the electronics section to buy a phone charger which I forgot to grab and the same, wonderful Tom came over to unlock the cabinet. By this time my friend had paid for the sling and put it on (he was in excruciating pain) and when he walked up he said to Tom, "I just want to apologize again.." Tom cut him off and said, "Well, usually when people make a mess at a store they clean it up" and walked off. I honestly couldn't believe that the store manager would even talk to a customer like that, but to yell at a customer with a shoulder injury, and ask him to use his shoulder to pick up some candy that he spilled had me dumbfounded. I thought Tom didn't notice the sling so I asked, "Tom, are you really was asking a paying customer in an arm sling clean up some candy that fell?" He turned around, looked us in the eyes and said "yes, I do." I've had worked in management for a long time, and still do. I have a question for the GM's, other store managers, and even shareholders - - is this in the employee handbook? Let's say my friend wasn't INJURED AND IN AN ARM SLING, would that justify scolding the PAYING CUSTOMER in front of the whole store about how he should've picked it up? A couple minutes later as I was checking out with my stuff, Tom decided to come back to the front of the store where he continued to bicker about how my friend should've picked up the candy, and yes, my friend was still wearing the ARM SLING that HE JUST BOUGHT AT THIS CVS. There was at least 10 customers in line all shaking their heads at Tom in disbelief. I was still shocked that he hadn't apologized, or at the bare minimum stopped bickering like a child in front of other customers. I would suggest that regional management check the cameras to verify the talking points above. I have no idea how Tom became store manager but I do know that if he stays the store manager, this store will be closed soon. I will never return to this CVS and I hope management reevaluates who fills the role of "store manager." The other employee's look to the store manager for guidance, and the only guidance here was how to lose a loyal customer. read more

Been coming to this pharmacy for years - probably decades now. It never fails. Always a wait time Today was the worst - ran out of cough syrup, never mind its flu season. Asked when they would have more - two weeks. Seriously WTF. Went to Walgreens down the street asked if we could get transfer of prescription. The pharmacist at Walgreens waited 25+ minutes on hold for CVS pharmacy. I drove back to CVS and had them pick up the damn phone and give Walgreens details. Solution transfer all my meds and my family's meds to Walgreens. read more

The people at this CVS were particularly friendly and the manager on duty (tall white male) was so helpful and took the time out of his busy day to help me learn how to use a beach umbrella, ha. Store was also huge compared to other CVS stores. Rarely do I leave reviews for Walgreens and CVS but I think this place deserved one. read more

Store is gross and smells of urine, and Store Manager was unwelcoming and unhelpful. My photo order was cut off and he told me that I sent it in the wrong size. When I tried to resend it he couldn't find the order, even when I pulled up the email confirmation with the order number. He seemed too busy with other tasks to help me or the other 5 people that had built in line at the main register. read more

BEWARE if you shop here. Not only is this CVS so old, the staff is so slow/unprofessional/rude, and the solicitors outside are just plain annoying. Now, I went to this CVS to buy some makeup that was on a great sale. I bought a few pieces to take home and see better if they would work for my skin type etc. I ended up not using them, just wanted to return the items. Since I had gone to another CVS to see if they had other items on this sale that were sold out, I had a few receipts with similar items that had been bought. Well, I was VERY careful about keeping the receipts and making sure to match the right items back to the receipts to return the items. I went in today to return 3 items that I knew had been bought together during my only trip to this CVS. All items were listed on the receipt, even by the color of the skin makeup. This made it VERY easy for me to make sure that I was being an HONEST customer in returning this product with the correct receipt at the correct CVS store. WELL, the employee said that one item could not be matched to the receipt. I was so confused because there was no way that this item was on any other receipt or that I didn't have a receipt at all for it. The receipt I had was the definite RIGHT ONE. I went out to my car to see what my husband thought I should do, since, once again, those employees are just so slow and ridiculous in trying to explain things to or ask questions. It was clear that a mistake had happened when I had originally bought the 3 makeup items. One of the items had been scanned TWICE, meaning, that this item they wouldn't return because it "wasn't" on the receipt, was actually THERE, but in a different name. My fault? I think NOT. It was very clear that this is what happened. I went back into the store to deal with the manager in getting my money back for this item. It was in perfect condition, never opened, and had even been paid with an ATM card (making tracking easier). Not only was this manager SO rude, SO short with me, SO unprofessional, he wouldn't even give me a moment to explain the possibility that the EMPLOYEE made the mistake. Once I was able to get just half a sentence out about this thought, he cut me off, saying that no mistake could ever occur like that...I was just thinking the entire time......UM, ARE YOU SURE??? YOU HIRED THE MOST RIDICULOUS STAFF EVER THAT CAN'T EVEN CARRY ON A FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL CONVERSATION WITH CUSTOMERS....MAYBE YOU SHOULD BE FIRED FOR TELLING CUSTOMERS THEY ARE THE LIARS AND EVERYTHING IS PERFECTLY FINE ON YOUR END! He would only give me store credit, which isn't awful. BUT, I was an honest customer who wanted to make an honest return to get MONEY back, not store credit to a place that I never want to step another foot in. Once again, I've never ever ever ever met such a rude, unprofessional, unhelpful, cocky, and impatient manager. Yet, I am NOT too surprised since this CVS is just all around pathetic. I will never shop here again, and I highly recommend that no one does since you may then be called a LIAR for THIER MISTAKE. I am a very honest, considerate, and nice customer. This really upset me, yet I kept my cool. But, when it comes to giving others the honest truth, I keep it real and tell it how it is. I will definitely be going to corporate with this and making them know of every single issue that occurred at tis CVS and the names of every employee, including the manager who treated a customer with such rudeness and disrespect, while practically treating me like one big liar. What is borderline funny, but VERY ridiculous, is that I had an AWFUL and HUMILIATING experience at another CVS the VERY same day!!! Wow is all I can say. I went in to fill a prescription. The lady behind the counter asks me like 100 identifying questions, which doesn't usually happen. She stares at the computer, then walks away to talk with her boss. They both giggle, then the boss says they don't have it. I ask if another CVS pharmacy does. He says "No." I asked if he could check, he says "they're all closed, because it's Sunday." Of course, that was a lie. The guy had no idea, he just didn't want to bother checking. I ultimately filled my prescription at a pharmacy down the street with no problems. Why did he lie to me? Why did they hassle me? What were they laughing about? I'll never know because these douchebags don't need to have reasons for anything they do. No accountability whatsoever. CVS: come in and retrain or fire this staff. They're not honest or professional, and they can't be trusted with sensitive info. It shouldn't be this hard to fill a prescription. read more

This stupid asshole cashier (tall, chubby American guy, w/ glasses) accused me of stealing just because I didn't go to them first to exchange one of my items. Thanks for confronting me in front of the whole crowd - DICK. I was just using my common sense and didn't want to have to line up twice (return the item, go back and get the item I wanted to exchange). Plus, I needed to buy more things the second time I came back. If this store had a sensor for shoplifters, interrogating customers wouldn't be so common. On top of this, a psycho Indian looking guy (wearing pajamas, dark eye bags, slouching) came in and stood really close to me at the register asking the cashier for matches (talk about ghetto-ville). read more

I am a regular at this CVS, and I visit in the early morning because their pharmacy is 24 hours and their general store is fully stocked. It is a wonderful CVS. Everyone is nice, kind, professional, and Tom, the Manager is terrific. They get 5 stars all day long. Couldn't say enough good things. read more

Every time I pick up my prescriptions from CVS pharmacy, I have a BAD experience!! Not once have i walked away happy from this store. The pharmacy staff members are very RUDE, slow and inconsiderate, especially when i show urgency in a medication that I need. Be aware of refilling your prescription over the phone..they will verbally tell you, "it's ready for pickup", but when you show up to pick it up, they will say, "i'm sorry, it's not ready...you can wait for it. It will only take 20 minutes". They are notorious for this. This happens to me 90% of the time- no joke! I visit this pharmacy at least twice a month and I am being truthful on this review. I am taking my business elsewhere and I hope you will do the same. This pharmacy does not deserve to be in business unless MAJOR changes are made with their process and staff. read more

I went to pick up my antibiotics for strep throat today and this white man at the pharmacy said he couldn't find me in the system (understandable, i was referred to this cvs by my health clinic and they were closed that day). But his attitude rubbed me off so much, I never told him what I was picking up and he literally goes "you can go to the urgent care for the medicine, but it's no big deal. Its just birth control." Yelp should let you give zero stars in a review. Even then, it would be too much. HORRIBLE pharmacy experience. We had an urgent prescription called in by our doctors office, and when we arrived an hour and a half later, it wasn't filled. We were told to wait another 30-45 minutes. An hour later, they had filled THE WRONG PRESCRIPTION. 30 more minutes of waiting until they finally did their job. The level of incompetence is stunning. I have been back here 3 times this week and each time something has gone wrong with my prescriptions... Which in fact they said was ready for me. They send me between drop off and pick up counters and each person is more confused than the other. No communication whatsoever! I don't have time for this... A perpetually long line exists at the pharmacy. Expect to spend about 20-30 minutes waiting in line to pick up your prescriptions here. Yes, that is about half an hour, which I am now using to write this very review. They are perpetually understaffed and are unwilling to get the help in needed to support their customers. If you value your time, have your prescriptions called in elsewhere. Have I mentioned that they are slow to handle your prescriptions here? Yep. I have plenty of time to write this here review on my iPhone. Plenty of time to contemplate other things I might be doing instead of standing in line. Here's hoping this review saves you from a similar fate. I might add, there is a Walgreens pharmacy over on Fairview. Perhaps I'll try calling in my prescriptions there. I've never had a problem with CVS until I came to this one. I've been here numerous times and the employees never seem to know what the hell is going on. Very frustrating when you call ahead of time to make sure your prescription is ready to be picked up only to go and find out that they don't have it ready! This happens every month, it would be helpful if the manager actually managed the store instead of getting high. I'm done with this pharmacy and taking my business to Rite Aid. I generally have had good experiences at this location. The deals at CVS are great they have good coupons that make deals even better, but this location always has a long line and one person ringing guests up. Though that is not the reason I am only giving it 2 starts. Yesterday I went in to get a gift card and a couple other things. I had a few reward bucks that I planned to use. So the lady checking me out rang up everything I handed the gift card over said how much I want on it, and gave her ALL of my rewards. When she gave me the total I didn't think twice paid it and noticed I didn't see the gift card. When I asked if it was given to me I was told yes, I checked my bag and the bags I had and it wasn't there. Then suddenly she reaches down (not like all the way to the floor, but on a shelf behind the counter) and says oh it must have fallen sorry. (I really believe she was trying to keep what I had just paid for) and then when I got home I noticed that while she kept all of my rewards not all of them were applied to my total. I wish this wasn't the closest CVS to my house, and from now on I will shop at the one on Baker, which is cleaner, nicer and doesn't have crack heads begging for money out front. Maybe this store should start sending the surveys out after you shop there like the one on Baker or Main does. I get them all the time when I shop at other locations that are good, but the ones that aren't that great I never get a survey for. read more

I just tried to transfer a prescription over the phone. The pharmacist was rude and refused to call the other pharmacy unless I went in person to show him the old container. I offered to give him all the info over the phone, all he needs is the pharmacy phone and rx number but he insisted I drive to cvs to drop off old container or he would not do anything. I never heard of such a thing. I've always easily transferred over the phone so that the rx would be ready when I arrived. Disappointing. read more

This is the closest 24 hour place when you're in need of drugstore stuff. I've never had a bad experience here, everyone is friendly. Not sure why the terrible reviews. A line does build up sometimes in the late night hours, but hardly a long wait. Parking here is always open, and although the shopping center property could use a little makeover, the area is in decent shape. read more
