Recently went here to search for a helmet to buy and some new gear. I had a specific helmet in mind that I wanted, but they didn't carry it. My brother and I always chose cycle gear when we rode dirtbikes for our gear. We feel the same now with our motorcycles. After my recent experience, I'm thinking of taking my business elsewhere. Walked in and started looking for gear. Both associates were at the counter on their phones and didn't say a word to me until I left. I've always enjoyed meeting new people and sharing a passion for riding, but it's not the same cycle gear. I guess Facebook was more important than a sale. read more

I've been in this location several times in the past month putting another bike together to start riding again after a broken back 16 years ago. Every single time I come in they have treated with more than expected help. Very knowledgeable, respectful and accommodating. I even lost a very sentimental bracelet while trying on gear and realized 30min after leaving and called. They looked for it and found it, and stored it for me to recover it the next day. It's a 20mile trip for me and I pass several other bike shops and will continue to do so just because of their amazing service. read more

Awful customer service. Daniel on of their associates was rude, didn't listen to what we were saying and keep taking over us. We asked for the manager his response was the manager is going to tell you the same thing. Finally he got the manager on the phone and we got some resolution. We ordered a jacket which ran small retuned to the store and was given a store credit to place towards a new jacket. Be careful, I should have requested a refund to my credit card. The associate ordered a new jacket online to be delivered to the store. We have been waiting 2 weeks for jacket to arrive and the store to call. I placed a call after a week and the associate answering the phone couldn't find the order stated he would have someone call me which did not happen. I call today and the manager Brent didn't know if the jacket had arrived at the store. Asked for a refund of the credit issued. After placing me on hold it appears the jacket was at the store all along. What store doesn't have a system for tracking orders they placed? This is the last time we will be shopping at cycle gear. read more

I was in need of a rear tire for my bike so I called to see if they had my size before I made my 2 hr drive. I was in need of a tire quickly at the moment. The sales associate put me on hold to see if they had what I was looking for which is completely fine until I sat on hold for half an hour. I then had to hang up and call back and the same sales associate answered the phone and was shocked that I had been on hold so long. I try to be patient as I need a tire. They ended up having the size I needed so I started my 2 hr drive with my wheel to have a tire mounted. Once I arrive I told him that my wheel/tire has a tube in it which should be no big deal. Wrong. He then tells me that he will not change my tire unless I put a new tube in it. Go figure he does not have my tube size in stock. Now I am at flying brothers parts and service right down the street getting my tire changed with my tube that was good to begin with. Flying brothers was very knowledgeable, nice, and has great service. read more

the prices are fair. at the time of my visit, a BILT leather & mesh combination jacket was on sale. my sales consultant took the time to really access my needs and help me to the best of his ability even though I'm picky. I even picked up a heat away shirt for $10 or so (with purchase). the store has great people who care about your safety. never at any point did I feel neglected or mislead.
