The happy family was my favorite because the beef was so tender! I like that they have a mix of Vietnamese cuisine as well as American Chinese when the craving hits this is my go to spot for halal Chinese (it's halal on the weekends) There is plenty of parking so no need to stress over that. I had the lunch portion of the pepper steak. It was a nice sized portion and the beef was tender and bell peppers and onions were cooked perfectly. The flaky egg roll was delicious. I added soy sauce to the fried rice and egg roll and all was very tasty. The egg drop soup was fantastic!! I'll try the basil shrimp and Spring Rolls next. The meat wasn't the best quality. Portion was great. And they gave us old brown limes. The vermicelli pork dish, was bland and had no extra fixings that you normally find like egg roll, peanuts, and lacked meat and quality for the $. Sesame chicken was liked by my child. But it looked like a lunch portion for almost $16. Fried calamari with oil... did I mention the oil? I ordered from menu but the food came out different.Rest ran out of broken rice and replaced it w regular rice. The pork w skin came out dry and wet and tasted old or refrigerated not fresh and crisp. I complained to the waitress and she apologized since they ran out of broken rice. Their combination fried rice had a lot of flavor...didn't taste like plain white rice mixed with everything. Their sesame was on point. Love that they don't serve it with a bunch of broccoli. Unfortunately, I will pass on this option next time I am looking for Vietnamese or Chinese takeout. Had ordered it previously on Uber eats and thumbed down some items I didn't like. I did avoid those but everything else was also less than good. The General Tso's chicken had too many of the "chewy" pieces and I just couldn't keep eating it. Mango smoothie still had large chunks of ice in it, don't really recommend if you are actually craving a smoothie. Pho is definitely not their specialty, it was the most average at best and the meat was really brown and didn't taste too fresh. Do give them props for their hot and sour soup. Wow! This place is amazing!!! We ordered general tsos, orange chicken, egg rolls, and with rice! Everything was fresh and delicious! Some places with make food and let it sit there until it's bought, BUT NOT THIS PLACE! And that's what separates this place from most! Skip this one. I ordered from Cyclo tonight because Uber Eats had a deal and quickly regretted it. We got orders of Mongolian Beef, Pineapple Chicken, Steamed Dumplings, Egg Drop Soup and Hot & Sour Soup. Every item was very, very bland. The Mongolian Beef was very chewy and kind of gross, the Pineapple Chicken was super watery. The dumplings were stuck together in one mass and were almost tasteless. This place is to Americanized Chinese food what Americanized Chinese food is to actual Chinese food. Additionally, the food isn't cheap. We had a really nice time at this very friendly and very clean restaurant. Our food was hot and extremely tasty. My wife got the combo stir fry (#44?) and I got the pad thai. Hers was really good, but the pad thai was awesome. Just the perfect amount of fire. Our big kid got the orange chicken and yeah, I stole some. Nice and crispy, and with a really good sauce to it. I ordered from here at least 20 times. They are conveniently located across the street from me and when I'm not in the mood to cook this is my go to place. Unfortunately, they messed up more than once and I am very disappointed with their service. I decided to try something new and went to pick it up. Rice noodles and fried dumplings. They ended up giving me fried egg noodles and steamed dumplings. I called to simply let them know and offered to bring in my old order so they could correct it. They told me "no that's okay" and that the owner, Kenny, would call me. I tried to reach him for 5 days with no success. When I did finally reach Kenny he told me a story about how his employee had been costing him a lot of money lately because he had recently moved her from Vietnam. This new employee wasn't the most fluent in English and must've misheard me. We laughed about it and he sent me a new order for free. My new order contained burnt onions, it smelled very off, and I had a hair in my lo mein. It was also 20 minutes late. I was very hesitant to call at this point because I hate to complain. I'm not confrontational. But I bucked up the courage and let him know. Kenny told me "yep. I'm looking at it right now. Looks like they burnt the onions in the fried rice. It's a little over cooked. Won't happen again" and didn't offer anything else. I was very upset. I didn't even eat it. Today, a week later, I went in. I sat for 10 minutes and waited for Kenny to come back from a delivery. I explained I wasn't looking for handouts and that I had been a loyal customer. I simply wanted my order done right. Kenny looked me in the eye and told me he "felt we were even" because the order he gave me was free. He said it "costs him a lot of money" and he can't keep making free orders. I explained to him very sincerely it took a lot for me to drive over and talk face to face and that he wasn't being fair. His "free" order to me consisted of a hair and burnt food. He tried to justify this by saying "well yes, but the meat was good. So it should be okay. I think we're even". Kenny, we are not even. It also costs 10x more money to replace a loyal customer than it does to correct Your mistake. A bad review can also cost you money. I hope you think of this moving forward. read more
