The salesman went with us on a long test drive. I decided I liked a blue lifted Ram the best, so we negotiated a fair price. I have had it for a couple weeks now and haven't had any issues. I was searching for a specific type of SUV for the last month. Finally I came across this auto dealership and they had what I was looking for, even though it had a few more miles than I wanted but I was still interested. Spoke with Annie and we came to a final purchase price including delivery to my residence. I wired the full amount on Monday morning and was told I would receive the vehicle Wednesday late afternoon. By 5pm Wednesday I spoke with Annie again and she said that she never said I would receive the vehicle Wednesday, and that they hadn't even contacted a shipper. I informed her that was leaving town Saturday and I need it before then. After a few minutes she called me and informed me that Saturday or Monday. I told her that was unacceptable and she said she would call me back. She did assure me that Friday evening the vehicle would be at my house. I called @ 5pm and spoke with another person because Annie wasn't there and they had no way to contact the shipper to give me a time....They seemed to have no problem taking my full payment for the vehicle but for some odd reason no one seems to knows anything about anything. It's 9pm Friday night and I have no idea where my property is at.....Very unprofessional and I am definitely not going to be a repeat customer. read more

You can't lose when you buy a vehicle from Cypress. They will have your back and they will do everything they can to give you the best experience buying a vehicle. Found this business with their great selection of trucks. Aaron came out in the heavy rain to greet us and walk around the trucks we were interested in. It was wet and cold, and he bared it out with us! He had a lot of knowledge about each truck, years, and different engines. We took one of the trucks for test drive and had some questions. Aaron gladly answered these concerns and came out with us for a second test drive. After we were ready to buy, Annie finished up with us and she made all the paperwork signing very cheerful and fast, plus making sure we got the best financing rate. Four days after the purchase, we went up to the mountains, and got a tire puncture from a broken snow chain. With super congested traffic and heavy snow, we pulled over to change the tire, and we didn't have a spare! We called Annie at Cypress Auto Center after a few attempts to plug the flat tire, and they apologized for having missed including a spare, and Aaron drove up i80 in the snow immediately with a spare tire for us and even helped us put it on with no charge or condition. Even after signing the "as is" warranty, Cypress Auto Center made sure that their new customers would be taken care of; they saved us! I bought a dodge diesel from them let me just say one problem after the next with these guys. Let's start with the truck which was priced way over blue book. The truck has electrical problems and a noise. They agreed to fix the noise which they did not stick to their word on that either. They had my truck nearly 2 weeks and damaged the seal.the seal was leaking all over my drivewayThey sent the truck to their driveline shop, which lied about replacing bearings, I had another shop verify that. They still have not been able to fix the problem and want me to pay for part of the repairs. If I could give them negative stars or 0 I would.i would not recommend buying from these guys. Even when you call they ask if your lender will loan with cars listed over blue book. read more

I purchased a truck at Cypress Auto in July, 2015. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and love my new to me diesel truck. I got what seems to be a pretty solid, low mileage truck at an ok price with easy financing options. The sales process was easy, low pressure, and reasonably quick. Now, onto the cons. The truck I purchased needed suspension work. This in and of itself wasn't an issue to me as I am (was? I admittedly earn my income in another industry these days) a steering/suspension technician. My qualm was that, first off a truck was offered for sale needing a new pitman arm, new ball joints, and new shocks (safety issues, anyone?) and second, that the dealer was unwilling to negotiate even the wholesale cost of parts off of the purchase price. I, a certified steering/suspension technician, was instead offered a discounted labor rate at their repair facility. I obviously declined. Why pay someone else to do the work for me on top of the cost of parts? I also noted corroded battery terminals and a power window switch that had been swapped from an 'auto-down' model to a standard hold the switch to roll down the window sometime after the photos of the truck were taken for their ad. Corroded terminals is laziness on the part of their vehicle prep guy and the window switch swap was weird- there could have been a legit reason for the swap, but I didn't care enough to question it because it worked. Once home, I had to tighten two exhaust manifold bolts that had backed out of the cylinder head and charge the air conditioning that didn't blow cold anymore once temps got above the 70 degrees it was when I purchased the truck in the morning. In short, I felt there should have been more negotiation on the part of the dealer. Part of being a consumer and paying the dealership premium on price vs private party is to get a vehicle that has been gone over and had problems like I encountered taken care of. It obviously wasn't a deal breaker due to my mechanical knowledge and background but to someone who isn't so inclined repair costs would have been catastrophic, assuming they didn't have an accident first. So while I won't say Cypress Auto is bad- the purchase process was a very positive experience for me and I love my truck-, I will say it seems like they cut corners on vehicle inspections and prep. Be sure to have any potential purchase inspected by YOUR trusted mechanic so that you know what you are getting into before you sign on the dotted line. read more

Don't waste ur time or money! This place is shady and under handed. We purchased a truck and for the first 3 days I couldn't drive it. My 7mo old daughter and I got stranded in the Target parking lot. The batteries were bad when we purchased the truck and they said they would replace both and they only replaced one. And Sam the "owner" told my husband that he doesn't like liers and if lance was lying about the batteries that he would be fired, then he went on to lie about being the owner. I had to hire a mechanic at $80/hr to fix the corroded wire that they didn't fix either. Trust me, don't waste your time, you will regret it if you do go there. read more

I had a great experience here. No pressure at all, very casual, Kim and Rick are easy to deal with. The truck I came to look at was as described and all my questions were answered to my satisfaction. Guys, do your due diligence when buying used. Check it out thoroughly top to bottom, then take it for a long test drive, then check it out again on return. Hell bring your creeper and some gloves and flashlight. My truck wasn't perfect but it was solid and within my budget. Expect to have to make some repairs on wear parts from time to time. Better than a $600 month payment. I love my truck, and they had a great selection in my opinion. You know the deal, I went low, they went high. Cypress Service Center is everything you want in a business that is going to work on your vehicle. Honest, fairly priced, great communication, and timely. I took my Audi there after I met one of the technicians at a local gas station. He let me know the tow truck driver was hooking up my vehicle wrong and it may get damaged. He took time to show the driver where the tow hook was on my Audi. At that point I asked if he worked on Audis. He said his shop specialized in trucks but worked on Audis as well. The rest is history. I will take my vehicle to Cypress anytime I need a fix or check. John and his crew treated both myself and my vehicle with respect. They EARNED my business. read more

NEVER BUY A TRUCK HERE!!!!! I went here based on a good reputation they had by word of mouth. I was fooled! Our family needed a new truck for work and our 3rd son was born 3 months prior. We got a Dodge 3500 from 2006. Bout 3 months later the engine completely puttered out. We called cypress, they claimed they knew nothing and basically said, sorry for your loss but give us 12 grand and we'll rebuild it. A slap in the face! When we brought it to 2 different mechanics, they both concluded that the oil looked as if it hadn't been changed for over 25000 miles (ballpark guess, but was clearly very old), which is what messed up the engine. We told Sam, the owner and he claimed again that's on me, even though they guarantee it's been fully serviced, inside and out.. couldn't be farther from the truth. We went into debt and rebuilt the engine without any help from them. A month after it was rebuilt, the drive shaft went out. Then the electronics started failing. Then the transmission began to stick and show signs of failing. Then the 4wd would get stuck in place and the truck wouldn't turn on. Then the starter failed. After that, I replaced the starter and traded it into a dodge dealer for a new truck. Sam and the salespeople at Cypress pretend to be all warm Christian families and and good to you until you walk out the door. They lie through their teeth to get the sale just like most used cars salesman and could care less about you and your family as long as they're getting paid. Very upsetting. Ultimately I should have known better and caught the symptoms before I bought a truck, but I trusted their word of mouth reputation. I don't see how they're still in business. read more

They quoted me one price for my Car, So I came back a couple days later to make sure I Really wanted to Truck. My Car still in the Exact same condition they desiced they wonted to give me 2,500 less for my car then they had previously quoted. The owner is RUDE and a complete Ass. I just purchased a 2006 Dodge Diesel 2500 from Cypress Auto. My Dad had suggested we stop there first and look. I am so glad I did. I loved the service as they were very patient with me on finding the perfect truck for me. I test drove a couple of trucks and found the perfect one for me. I loved the fact that there was no pressure that you sometimes get at other auto sales places. I had driven one truck and I told them I wanted to go and test drive a new truck at the dealership. They had no problem with that. I did go drive a new Dodge truck and was pressured at the dealership when I had to leave. We just bought an awesome used truck in mint condition from Cypress. The sales staff were so incredibly knowledgeable and not at all pushy. This company has ethics as another couple came in after us & wanted same truck for more $. They helped us combine our trade-in with additional downpayment working with our credit union to make it work for us. They handled all license, registration and gave us a great deal. My experience sounds much the same as many of the other reviews. When I originally purchased the truck everything went well. (They were making money). I needed to get a list of things done which they agreed to do, but it was always a struggle to get them to follow through. I had to most often call back many times to get a response. Almost every time I would take my van in for work to be done, it would take longer than they originally said, I would have to rent a car which they would not help me with, and something else would be wrong with my van. It got so bad towards the end, I would try to call them to get them to take responsibility for sending me to another shop and the owner would not return my calls nor would take my calls any longer. I finally got fed up with them, found a great shop locally and will never go back to have any work done at their shop. I don't think they really know what they're doing and try to convince you they do. I would not recommend this place to anybody unless you're willing to put up with a lot of head ache and stress. read more

Pretty awesome group at Cypress Auto Center. Bought a Porsche Cayman S from them and the experience was a breeze, very much stress free. Their specialty is in diesel trucks, so the 987 was pretty much the odd ball in the lot. I was wary of going through the purchase because of the negatives on Yelp at first and didn't know what to expect. When we arrived, Lance warmly greeted us. Lance helped us throughout the purchase and let us test drive the car and a second round for my husband to test it out. Very cool! He also gave us a great recommendation for lunch so while the car was getting smogged at a nearby shop we could grab a bite in Auburn. By the by, friggin amazing fried pickles at the Auburn alehouse. The purchase was hassle free. Due bill was followed through with no problems at all. Awesome and honest team there with Lance and the owner Sam. John and his service mechanics team know Dodge RAM trucks. They were eager to give a little extra and torque wrench a few bolts to finish my DIY gooseneck hitch installation. I bought my truck over a year ago and the truck has been dependable without any events. I buy a truck every twenty+ years so I scrutinized every detail of the business and negotiations before and during our transaction. Kevin and Sam held to their word and obligations through out the sale and even fixed a tire issue without hessitation. The sales and service center are first rate. All of the trucks have major problems and they go to great lengths to cover them up. Such as undercoating or bed liner over rust. Every diesel on there lot leaked oil. They want an average of 30% over high blue book. And worst of all they lie. Lee is the worst offender. I wasted several trips up from the bay area to find that in the2 hours to drive up, the truck they called to tell me about had sold, yeah right. read more

The worst experience I have ever had with a service center and the manager/owner was the nastiest jerk I have met in any car service center. The car was not properly diagnosed, not fixed, and cost $1,500. to get my car back. The owner was up in my face yelling that I could go elsewhere when I brought it back to say it was not repaired and he threatened my adult son to "get out" because my son asked him a simple question. This is run for the hills and never visit this joint- looks clean and decent- but it is truly NASTY and does not honor its written policy to "repair" you car to your satisfaction. I have never thought of writing a review but I had to do something to ease my mind from what happened to me- BEWARE! read more
