!!!BUYER BEWARE!!! !!!SHADY USED CAR LOT!!! I recently purchased a pre owned truck from Cypress Auto Sales, after I was assured multiple times buy both sales people, that the truck had been looked over by a mechanic, and all points of concern were addressed. After asking to furnish proof of the work done, I was repeatedly told, "we can't find the folder." "But not to worry, because we haven't been in business this long by being shady..." The sales process was painless, the only good part about this shady used car lot, was the salesman, Ben. Low pressure, easy to work with. This gave me hope that I had found a Diamond in the rough... More of a CZ... So I mistook them for a reputable dealer that offered quality used trucks. After getting my new truck home, and parking it on my brand new, still unsealed, concrete driveway, to my surprise I woke up to fluids being leaked from the truck.... I reached out to my sales person, he advised me to drop the truck off, and you would have it fixed. When I dropped the truck off, I showed, the sales person on site where I had noticed some leaking in the engine bay, and where it was leaking and splattering all over the drivers front end. After a few days, I was told the mechanic found that the transmission pan had a "significant leak." Interestingly enough, there were no drips in the location of the transmission pan, believe me, I see every single drop. I was then. assured that it would be safe to park back on my driveway. I naively parked my new truck back on my new driveway, and yet again, woke up to dripping in my driveway... I'm overly curious how a mechanic would have missed this. After reaching out, I was advised that since the repair on the transmission pan was so expensive, i was basically out of luck. Now I have multiple issues with this interaction. I was told that a mechanic had gone through and given the truck a clean bill of health, not just that it was power washed and spray painted to hide any imperfections. After multiple requests, I was finally able to get the owner to return my call. He advised me that they were well aware that the transmission pan was leaking, and had every intention to fix it, when I brought it back to have the only issue that was actually disclosed, taken care of. I was provided a "due bill" of services needing to be done to the truck still, no mention of any leaks that they still had to have fixed. The owner said he would the call his "mechanic", you know, the same one that missed the leaks after looking at it multiple times, and get back to me with a price for repairs. Didn't hear from him for an hour or so, so I called the shop to find out what he had to say, nowhere to be found, I was then told he would return my cal as soon as he got back to the shop... never happened... Save yourself the hassle and AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! Update: Originally posted almost 30 days ago! After being given a sob story, the owner convinced me to take my review down so he could make the situation right... here we are almost 30 days later and I finally got my truck back!! After digging more, none of the repairs that he said would be fixed, were even addressed. Even worse, whatever dirt bag "mechanic" they use left grease stains all over the drivers seat and center console!! Again, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!

    Pee per truck

Stay away. Responded to a listing for a "like new" dodge 3500 pickup. Spent several hours at the dealership arranging additional insurance coverage to drive the truck to my mechanic for a prepurchase inspection. Spent $150. Failed miserably. Add insult to injury: the dealership owner them told me the truck had been traded in by an old couple in the Roseville area and that's why it smelled like pee after sitting in the sun. Also insulted me with a crack about "did I pee in the truck?" once he realized I wouldn't purchase the truck. Also radio broken, jake-brake inop, many flaws even though they are featured accessories in the listing (below). Naturally the salesman had previously advised me that I had better buy the truck right now because someone was preapproved and coming in to get it the next day... weeks later it's still there and the listing is still posted on craigslist. No mention of pee pee. (See pics.) Stay away from the pee pee truck dealer!

Our car was hit and deemed totaled. We decided that we needed a truck again. We were very picky- it had to be 4WD, diesel, good price with a decent amount of mileage on it. Much to my surprise this was very hard to find. We searched high and low. We went to many dealerships and were unhappy with their lack of options. We finally came to Cypress Auto Center and Sam and Lee were wonderful. They aren't just sales guys, they really did what they could do to make this a wonderful experience for us. We are very grateful that all of the other dealerships failed us because had they not failed us we wouldn't have found this dealership. I think one of the greatest parts of this dealership is the fact that we can always come back for parts at their price which is such a huge deal! It's great to know that if we ever needed a part they won't overcharge us!

We'd been searching for a Toyota 4Runner for a few months. We found my dream car @ Cypress Auto Center! From the first phone call to ask if the vehicle was still on the lot, to driving 2.5hrs to meet with Lee & the owner Sam, to the test drive and everything in-between...the process was EASY, to the point & the service was INCREDIBLE! When looking for the right deal, no hassle or pressure buying these are the guys to go see!!!!

Wasted our time & sold it to someone else!

Ben and Sam worked with us to find a price we were comfortable with and were not pushy about it either.

My husband and I bought our first Subaru in 2020 from Gold Rush and the experience was superb then…read moreso, of course, when we decided to add a new vehicle into our lives our first choice was Gold Rush once again! We wanted to check out the brand new Uncharted EV and our salesperson was Jonathon. He was FANTASTIC! We are new to the world of EV but he has extensive knowledge of many makes and models and easily answered any and all of our questions. As most know, buying a vehicle turns into a long process and he also fed us dinner while working through paperwork, which was incredibly unexpected and so so appreciated! He has continued being involved in answering any questions or concerns we have had since. Absolutely fantastic help. We have had many great experiences through the years at this dealership and this is yet another great one to add to our list. Thank you Jonathon at Gold Rush Subaru!!!

Paid Gold Rush Subaru for a diagnostic inspection and was told I needed a transmission replacement…read more Before authorizing the repair, I sought a second opinion. The second shop identified multiple additional issues and advised that the vehicle was not safe to drive. When I raised concerns, I was told I should bring the vehicle back for another inspection. After already paying for a professional diagnosis and being advised the vehicle was unsafe to operate, I did not believe that was a reasonable solution. I escalated the matter to Subaru of America and provided the details of my experience. Despite this, the case was closed without reimbursement or resolution. John Milburn and the team had multiple opportunities to address my concerns, but instead I was left paying for a diagnosis that I no longer have confidence in. If you're facing a major repair recommendation from Gold Rush Subaru, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before spending thousands of dollars. It may save you significant money and frustration.
