They came with a tomato sauce and a buttermilk sauce that you could dip your curds in. These were really good when they came out. The cheese was nice nice and stretchy and the exterior wasn't very crunchy but added texture. Both sauces were good and each had a distinct flavor. For our main meal we all shared a bowl of the Truffle Fries. They aren't on the menu but the waitress told us that if you request them the chef can make them. They were really good fries. My husband and son both ordered the Southwest Pimento Burger which comes with beef, pimiento cheese, jalapenos, a tostada, corn relish, and aioli. They said that the burger was really good. I ordered the Harvest Burger cooked Medium. It comes with beef, cabbage, apple jam, aioli and cheese. I ordered mine with swiss cheese instead of cheddar cheese. The burger was delicious. It was cooked perfectly. I could taste all of the combined ingredients and really liked the sweet and salty flavor of it. It was just balanced so well. Overall Oasthouse is a good lunch spot. Their fried chicken sandwich was audibly crisp with fresh tomato and lettuce that I made two meals out of. To end the perfect meal... my husband actually coordinated with staff to create "Gender Reveal" pancakes! I didn't realize what they were until I got to the yummy surprise! Their cream is delicious! The pancakes were soft and sweet! The experience, unforgettable. It brought happy tears to my eyes and we really appreciate the thought and care put into our day. While we didn't indulge in the beverages, we enjoyed the $10 burger special which also came with fries! We paired this with a side of a $6 Caesar Salad (really tasty and thrown together with thinly sliced cabbage, roasted chickpeas, and popcorn chicken). Next time, I'd really love to try the truffle mac and cheese (which was also on HH). We weren't aware of the upcharge for swapping out the slice of American for Cheddar (+$1.50), which would've been nice to know ahead of time, since we both got burgers and wondered about the swap...but lesson learned. Also, BIG lesson learned...the parking validation is for only two hours! We were having such a lovely time at Dish Society, but exceeded the 2 hrs (by an extra hour) and got charged a significant amount for parking. Next time, we will certainly park on the street.
