It was busy when my friend and I came in on Sunday at around 11AM. There was a line, but when we got to the cash register the cashier told us that food would take 40 minutes - the weird part was she didn't say this to the people in front of us or the people after us even though they also got 'food'. The restaurant itself is cozy and decorated with a lot of generic signs you would see from Hobby Lobby (very live laugh love). It has both indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. I got a steak and eggs, and honestly the steak was awful. I've never eaten such a dry piece of meat, it was reminiscent of what people feed their dogs for their birthday. It was supposed to be medium rare, but it was definitely well done and a low quality cut of meat. The fruit was good, sweet and in season. Bread was tightly toasted and buttered but they gave me the wrong type - it took 50+ minutes to get the food so I didn't bother telling them. The eggs were cooked well, I enjoyed them with some salt and pepper. The cashier came up to us at around 45 minutes after ordering and asked us how we wanted our eggs cooked because she hadn't asked at the beginning, and my friend and I were surprised that they hadn't started until then. Overall I don't think I plan on coming back any time soon. It's pretty close to Peter's Canyon which is a great option for a post-hike meal, but there are definitely other restaurants nearby that have better service and food. read more

I also had an amazing Orange Julius--refreshing and nostalgic in the best way. We brought our two brand-new four-week-old puppies in a stroller, and they didn't make a sound. The food was really good. I had the California Omelette, and it tasted fresh and it was full of flavor. They have a good variety on drinks and on food choices. I love this spot. I come here between classes, and it's definitely well liked. The staff are super friendly, you can tell they have regulars. It's not too crowded, it's got a cozy atmosphere. The tables inside are large enough to study if needed, and they have a back patio with outside seating if you'd like some sun & fresh air. The food is well priced, a good variety, with decent portions. I love that they have breakfast available for most of the day. I ordered hollandaise on the side once, expecting it to be something quick since most places use powder or have it pre made, but they made it to order. When I need a caffeine fix I love the spiced dirty chai latte. I'm Indian - I know what real chai tastes like. Of all the coffee spots I've been to, this place has probably been the most impressive. My family came here for the first time this morning after a neighboring restaurant was busy. It was busy here too and I genuinely felt bad for the staff. The woman handling the register was doing her best to manage the crowd, and was friendly at the register, even gave us free coffee for the wait. I checked on our to-go food the first time after about 20 minutes, and was told it would be taken to our table. After another 20 minutes I politely checked on our food again, and was told "it will be ready when it's ready" and "it was an hour wait from when you ordered." I get it. The crowds were probably more than what they were staffed for. A "hey, we apologize we received an unanticipated rush today and were backed up. We apologize for the wait." and I wouldn't be leaving a review. The "it will be ready when it's ready" comment was the tipping point. We won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

It was just the right amount of sauce and the hash browns were crispy and tasty. The starburst smoothie was so one of the best smoothies I've had. We hit the jackpot! The place we normally go to for breakfast burritos was closed so we popped in here hoping is was just as good. We were not disappointed. I got the California Burrito and hubby got a breakfast sandwich. We ordered ours to go. The order didn't take long and we were glad we arrived early because people started to trickle in. After inquiring 30 min later, we're told "don't even worry about it, it's coming". After asking again the nice gent let us know there was a mix-up in the kitchen. We can understand things happen but the rudeness we were subjected too by the two additional females was not deserved. One of my favorite breakfast spots! Highly recommend their California burritos with their hash browns (one of my favorites around here because of how crispy it is). I also like their vanilla latte with oat milk. It's so good and I like that they are willing to refill it with regular coffee after I'm done.
