First time back since the grand opening, and this place is popping! Very busy Saturday morning when we came by, which is great. Service was excellent and they seemed to have gotten everything up and running smoothly. We got our orders after about 10 minutes. This time I tried their freshly squeezed orange juice which was delicious. They press other juices and smoothies in house too.

Close to a NY bagel. That's a big compliment from a former New Yorker. Plenty of bagel choices. Spacious seating and parking. Prompt and friendly service. This is a newer business. The employee told me it's been about 5 months. Let's show this new business some love!

Fast service, very busy. Ordered a sausage egg and cheese ($7.49), Vietnamese coffee ($6) and 2 bagels ($1.99 each). Spinach Parmesan cheese didn't taste like anything, cinnamon raisin was a bit better, sausage egg and cheese was decent but nothing special. Vietnamese coffee had lots of caffeine but not that flavorful, more like watered down Vietnamese iced coffee to fit a 16 Oz (ratios were kind of off). I'm a bit of a bagel snob coming from the east coast. 5th Ave is better than the store bought bagels but nothing I'd write home about. Proof bagel from orange farmers market / stonegate farmers market is still 10x better, fluffier and true kettle boiled bagels packed with special flavors but a good deli to grab a quick breakfast. I like the ambience too because it makes me reminiscent of city living :)

This coming weekend Jan 24 & 25, @5thavebagelrytustin is officially grand opening and giving out 100 free bagels w/ smear to first 100 in line! In additional, there BOGO Free Bagel Sandwich all weekend long! Woohoo! 5th Ave Bagelry Tustin has a large selection of bagel flavors but they do sell out quickly. If you are feeling a bit more hungry, their breakfast bacon, egg and cheese on your choice of bagel or their breakfast burritos just hits. Not only it looks delicious, you wanna devour it ASAP. Their drink menu is vast with classic drip, espresso based drinks, milk teas, fresh fruit smoothies to fun ice blended drinks!

Really great new bagel place in Tustin! Wide variety of bagels and different toppings. I got the "world" bagel with jalapeño cream cheese! Staff was friendly, definitely still ironing out some things, but it was their first week open. Plenty of seating inside and space to stand and wait for your order. My only thing is I wish they had vegan cream cheese options for those who can't have regular cream cheese (: I'll be back!

The cinnamon sugar bagel with cream cheese and matcha latte were a nice balance of sweet and creamy. A good breakfast choice.

I came in for the grand opening celebration. I was customer #2 which is cool. I was #2 ladt week at another grand opening. I got a free Sourdough bagel with cream cheese. I also got a ham and cheese Croissant and an Eearl Grey tea. I really enjoyed the soft Bagel loaded with cream cheese. The Croissant was light and flakey. It was delicious. Everyone here is so nice. The environment is warm and inviting. This is a nice place.

Came for the grand opening this past weekend and we got 2 bagel sandwiches to try! Both were loaded and the bagel were very good! My favorite was the turkey and bacon which has came with tomato slices as well. The staff were very friendly and this place has a great vibe!

Quick service and was here for their grand opening. They had a Bogo deal on bagels. Interestingly they have a Spanish Parmesan bagel. Although they don't have any vegan cream cheese alternatives, they're still quite a variety in bagel options and if you don't want a bagel, you could get a roll as part of more of their hefty specialty sandwiches. Besides breakfast items that even have more of your healthy fruit smoothies and muffins.

The bagels are definitely easier to eat and better tasting than the heavier standard bagels that you normally get from donut shops. They have a great selection of different flavors and they're all made fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful with ideas. The sitting area is large, spacious, and super clean. Parking can be a challenge if you show up after 10 o'clock in the morning. When the other stores open.

Just tried 5th Ave Bagelry and I already know this is going to be a repeat spot. Huge bagel selection, so I'd definitely recommend coming early if you want the full lineup. Everything looked fresh and there were so many choices. Here's what I ordered: * Veggie deluxe bagel sandwich on poppy (so good) * Whole wheat bagel with jalapeño cream cheese (my absolute favorite -- perfectly spicy and creamy) * Chicken salad bagel sandwich on sourdough * Fresh red juice * True blueberry smoothie The jalapeño cream cheese alone is worth coming back for, and the veggie bagel sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and filling without feeling heavy. I also loved that they offer freshly made juices and smoothies, which makes it easy to balance out a hearty bagel. Great spot for breakfast or lunch, whether you're in the mood for something classic or a little lighter. Really happy to have this place in Tustin -- highly recommend!

The bagels were very disappointing. Very doughy, no flavor and a little stale. The service was fine. And the location was good.

Our server was very warm and helpful. For two of us we ordered one heavier dish and 3 on the lighter side and I actually left pretty stuffed. The menu is always evolving so I'd love to return, but for this visit we started with the bread and ham butter. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the ham butter imparted so much flavor. My favorite item that we ordered was the Galician Octopus. The thin slices were perfectly executed and the flavors underneath packed a punch. I would pass on the Gambas al Ajillo. While the shrimp were large, I found myself wishing that they had some char. The Summer Squash Salad was a perfect complement to the other dishes. I found the squash ribbons to be unique, the dressing to be light and fresh, and the inclusion of small bits of cheese to impart just the right amount of saltiness to the dish. Because we were celebrating my birthday, they gave us a complimentary slice of the basque cheesecake with a candle in it. Typically I'm not a big fan of this type of cheesecake, but theirs was wonderful and we ate the whole thing. I'm always appreciative when a restaurant does a little something extra for a special occasion. Extra props to our server because she noticed the gift that my friend brought for me and took it upon herself to inquire about the occasion and bring the dessert. It's those little touches that mean a lot.

Fat of the Land was such a nice treat…read more I went here with two other people to celebrate a birthday dinner. Making reservations is recommended since the restaurant is small but making it wasn't too difficult. We were impressed by how cute it was. It had a dark European vibe which we loved. It's definitely intimate and great for small groups, not so much larger ones. We brought in our own wine to enjoy with a corkage free. We got seated right away and our nice waiter gave us great recommendations and answered our many questions. We ended up ordering a lot between all three of us but that's just how we roll. We started with their bread & ham butter, pork pate, and burrata. The pork pate didn't come with bread so we were glad our waiter recommended it. The pate was really good and was different. It was on the dense side but still spreadable and full of flavor. The burrata had peaches, cherries and pinenuts. It was different but in a good way and we also ate that with the bread. It was more bland and nice with the pate. For dinner we got their steak tartare, mushrooms, chicken, and pork. The steak tartare was on the saltier side which I didn't mind. It was actually a large portion and sat on some toast. The mushrooms were a hit. They were braised with an onsen egg on top to mix. The pork was exceptional. It was flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend it for protein. My least favorite dish was the chicken, which was actually super tender and cooked just right. I just didn't like the sauce taste and I am not a fan of beans. We ended the night with some basque cheesecake which was not too sweet and delicious. What an incredible meal. The pricing we thought was good for the quality and what you get. Some of the portions were smaller but good for us. The pork did have a 40 minute wait to make which our waiter told us. Service was amazing and the food came out as it was made. The restaurant is small so reservations is recommended. They have limited parking and there is also street parking around.

I'd found this restaurant on Yelp and convinced the others to join me in checking it out. It's a relaxed spot where you order at the register, receive a number, and then find your own seat. I usually feel rushed making menu choices when there's a line behind me, but this time, we were the only ones waiting, and the kids quickly decided on their breakfasts. Finding a table for four was effortless. The cashier was neutral--neither especially friendly nor rude, simply efficient at her job. My man really enjoyed his coffee, and I liked mine too, though I can't quite remember which kind of latte I ordered. We shared a Salmon Eggs Benedict--a perfect combination of poached egg, creamy hollandaise, and smoked lox. Delicious! My daughter ordered the kids' pancake with egg and bacon and said it was good. My partner's daughter opted for a huge breakfast burrito with chorizo--she liked it, but couldn't finish the generous portion. It was the perfect way to enjoy our final breakfast in Irvine.

The menu looked incredibly tempting, and the vibe was giving Long Beach hipster... in the best way. I was immediately into it. Before we even get to the food, let's talk about the drinks because they completely stole the show. The Berry Bloom Shrub Soda was bright, refreshing, and unlike anything I'd had before. The Horchata Signature Kyoto Iced Latte was absolutely phenomenal. If you've never had Kyoto-style coffee, it's a slow-drip cold brew that's brewed one drop at a time over many hours instead of being steeped all at once. The result is an incredibly smooth, naturally sweet coffee with almost no bitterness. Combined with their house-made horchata, it was easily one of the best coffee drinks I've had. I later grabbed a Black Strap Molasses Latte to go, and that was just as impressive. For brunch we ordered the Steak & Eggs, French Omelette, and Hokkaido Milk Bread French Toast. Every plate that came out looked like it belonged in a magazine. The Steak & Eggs was ok. Since it's flank steak, a couple of bites had some inedible gristle, but the chimichurri was bright and flavorful, and I'm so glad I substituted the crispy house potatoes over fries... they were great and fried to perfection. The French Omelette was good. I was excited for the caviar, but the flavor was mostly overshadowed by the aged cheddar. The real surprise was the toast points. They were unbelievable!! Somehow like the buttery layers of a croissant transformed into perfectly toasted bread. I could've eaten an entire basket of those alone. The Hokkaido Milk Bread French Toast was delicious as well. It leaned a little sweeter than I personally prefer, but the milk bread gave it an incredibly soft, rich texture that made it hard to stop eating. The staff was exceptional. I can stress enough how grateful I was for friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful staff throughout our meal. My only disappointment came after I got home. I impulse-purchased a jar of their orange marmalade because I couldn't wait to spread it on a warm croissant. Unfortunately, the lid was covered in rust, and the jar wasn't sealed. I'm not familiar with the canning process or safety requirements, so I wasn't comfortable taking the risk and ended up throwing it away. That was a real letdown. Even with that hiccup, I'd come back to try some other items on the menu. The Kyoto-style lattes and Berry Bloom Shrub Soda alone are worth the trip, and next time I'll probably explore more of the menu. Spending over $100 for brunch set my expectations pretty high, but the drinks, atmosphere, and service definitely made this a memorable stop. If anything, I'd just skip the packaged marmalade next time and head straight for another Kyoto latte.
