Loved the wicked inspired interior, high ceilings, variety of seating (bar, round booth, traditional). The hostess was friendly and sat us immediately. Iggy (server) was attentive and great. All the food was amazing! I ordered- Hot Chai, I just wish it was served in a mug and not a glass. Super Greens drink, refreshing with just the right amount of sweet with a little kick Protein Trio Omelet was perfectly cooked with the right proportion of meat and cheese. Dined here with my family one weekend and it was about an hour from them closing. Service was extremely slow unfortunately and our waitress was quite forgetful as well. Main advice is to join the Yelp waitlist when you're on the way to Snooze. For a Saturday brunch, our wait was around 40 minutes once we checked in at the hostess stand, but it's a good area with other stores to shop in while you wait. We were sat outside and our server was really friendly, maybe as present as we needed sometimes, but that's to be expected with outdoor seating on a busy day. I ordered the corned beef hash and it was solid! It wasn't spectacular, but it hit all the notes I needed it to. The menu has so many options that there's something for everyone and I would come back to try something else out (maybe a breakfast burrito). DISCONNECTED & ODD. Upon arrival, I was a little perplexed by the service as all the team members seemed to be on a different page. I sat at the bar as it was the fastest seating option for a solo diner on a Sunday morning and noticed some interesting things. For one, my "waitress" disappeared and so I was handed off to a new one. My next waitress wasn't very attentive, but she was a little nicer and I could tell she was new. My whole experience was very awkward and left me unimpressed compared to other Snooze locations. I got a "kiss my feet" aura from some of the crew and that left a bad taste in my mouth. My only reason for giving this location a three-star rating is the food and lattes. My breakfast was amazing and my honey oat latte really hit the spot. I sat by a nice gentleman to my right, but we were both a bit out of our element due to the service. The bar/counter is great for a morning game, I got to see some events on the screen while waiting. Overall, the location is huge and has a plenty of room for multiple parties. I spotted an outdoor patio with shaded seating (at least it was shaded while I was there). You'll find this Snooze in Old Towne near Plaza Park. There's paid parking nearby, but it's totally walkable if you live nearby or find a free parking space elsewhere. read more

Superb brunch spot in the City of Orange - I stopped by with an old college buddy yesterday morning. He ordered a decaf coffee, I got my usual matcha latte, then ordered another as it was so good. I wanted to try this place knowing full well that the parking situation isn't the best. We ended up parking around the block, but the walk really wasn't bad at all. I came specifically for the Basil & The Bee Burrata Toast, and it did not disappoint. It's a toasted rustic bread with balsamic date spread, burrata, basil pesto, roasted tomatoes and a drizzle of Mike's Hot Honey. I asked for the toast to be extra crunchy since all the toppings can easily make it soggy, and they were happy to accommodate. They also offer classics, sweets, savory, almost whatever you are in the mood for. My Bravocado toast was the perfect choice for me. Loved Snooze!! I just wanted to give a huge shoutout to our server, Kim she was amazing! My friend and I absolutely loved her. She took such great care of us, constantly checking in and helping us decide what to order. I was really unsure at first, but she gave us several great recommendations. We ended up getting the Habanero Pork Belly Fried Rice and Juan's Tacos with chorizo, and both were incredible. The flavors were perfectly balanced--not too heavy and they were great plates to share. We also tried the Cinnamon Roll Pancake, which Kim recommended, and wow please don't remove it from the menu! It tasted exactly like a cinnamon roll and was absolutely perfect. Next time, I'd love to sit outside or closer to the windows for more natural light. We sat in the back, which was fine, but the front and window areas are much brighter and really beautiful--just something to keep in mind when you visit. Overall, such a great brunch spot. Update! Literally a week later, I came back because I was just honestly raving about how yummy this place was. I brought my fiancé this time, we sat at the bar and of course service was awesome. We went on a weekday so it wasn't that packed, and he was super impressed with the different options on the menu. He's on a health kick right now, and he loved the one bowl that had spinach and a bunch of other items. Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience. My boyfriend and I came in for breakfast and, after being seated, waited an extended period without being greeted or offered water. During that time, a nearby table that was seated after us had their full order taken before anyone checked on us. After we flagged this to the host, our server (the same server) eventually came over. We placed a simple order, pancakes and sides and toast but the timing and service continued to be inconsistent. We received one pancake first (not part of our order), then our pancake flight, but none of our other items arrived for another 15 minutes. By then, the pancakes were cold, my coffee was empty with no refill offered, and one of the pancakes in the flight was incorrect. When the rest of the food finally came out, it was lukewarm, as if it had been sitting for a while. Midway through the meal, we were also informed by another server that our original server had gone on break without letting us know. We understand that mistakes happen, and we did speak with a manager, who apologized. However, no adjustments were made despite the delays and incorrect items. Look... we usually come a couple of times a month on Sundays and everything is great! However we had the time to come today (Tuesday) and expected the same hospitality and great service but we left disappointed and without even being served. Seems the servers right now at 1pm are their C team and are just there until they want to because from the host to the 2-3 servers that passed our table not one greeted us or helped us. One server went to the table next to us that came maybe 7min after us and immediately greeted and started to assist. We overheard that same server saying "that's not my table" .... we sat for around 10min without even a greeting. We decided to leave as it was clear not one of those servers wanted the business and it had already left a pour impression on us and a complete 180 from the experience we usually get during the weekend. It's hospitality, be hospitable, even if it isn't your table you can smile and say "your server will be right with you" ... the host did bring us waters after a while but at that point it was too late.
