1 hour late and car was covered in dirt. Unprofessional and a waste of time. Refuses to return any calls.

The girl behind the counter was messing with her phone when I walked in. She didn't say a word and just kept fiddling with her phone. I tell her I'm dropping off a car. Not a word, doesn't take her eyes off the phone. I put the paperwork and keys on the counter. Without looking up from her phone she sticks her hand out at me expecting the keys be put in her hand. I had to leave her hanging on that, the keys were right in front of her on the counter. She finally says something to me. "Did you fill up the gas?" I say yes but she walks out and checks anyway. Finally the transaction is done, she hands me my card and receipt without looking up. Not a word or bit of "customer service" at the end. There are so many places to rent a vehicle that customer service is the only thing that will make a business stand out.

Long story short, I needed a car quickly after dropping my car off at Toyota. I didn't have a…read morescheduled reservation, and Daniela an employee at enterprise told me that they had 24 hrs to find a vehicle for me according to my reservation with Toyota ( valid ). I understand i wasn't the easiest customer, specially with needing a car ASAP and having no way to get to my house. I'm a college student and don't have extra funds to pay the extra for a SUV that they did had available. I have to admit I was frustrated yet I knew it was my own fault for wanting things done quickly in a short amount of time! However, Daniela was able to help me out with a rental on the spot and really made a difference in my day! She was understanding and supportive and went beyond her job expectations to help out! Thanks again!

I rented from Enterprise for about a month while my car was in the shop, and I ended up going…read morethrough three different vehicles. The first car had a slow tire leak that required me to add about 10 PSI every day, and it also had interior panels popping off on the sides, almost like the airbags had been replaced but the plastic clips were broken. The second car had front suspension issues and would shake at around 55+ mph. You could tell three tires were new and one was nearly bald, which felt unsafe. The last vehicle was nicer, but whenever it rained, water leaked from the pillar onto the driver side seat and floorboard. I chose to live with that instead of swapping cars again because it was already such a hassle to move car seats. Thankfully, I got my own car back from the body shop after about a month. Despite these issues, the staff at Enterprise were very accommodating and helpful. I understand they do not personally drive all the cars and rely on renters to report problems, but the inventory definitely felt questionable. Kudos to the staff for trying their best, but I hope they take steps to improve the quality of the vehicles they offer.

Before then they were barely even gave him decent car when he wanted to switch out the car or the vehicle that he did get it and always made an excuse as to why they couldn't give him a decent car . Yesterday he was involved in an accident where instead of this company doing the right thing he had already paid them $333 for the week. This company refused to give him a replacement car after he paid his money. Instead, they wanted all the information insurances , but they did not want to do the right thing. He went to the hospital due to the accident. He took the necessary steps in resolving the issue. He asked them could they give him a replacement car since he already paid for the week and they simply had said not until they get all the claim information resolved, which is understandable but everyone knows when you get into a car accident in a rental car they give you a replacement. They ended up following him instead shut the vehicle down and left him stranded on the road. David was so unprofessional over the phone, how dare you all sit up here and treat an older person like this after he's paid you thousands of dollars and has been a good paying customer. David decided he was going to be rude and hung up twice in my face! You all are disgraceful, incompetent and need to be reported. You charged an obscene amounts for old vehicles and have no respect for your customers! With this review in mind go where your money is respected these people clearly don't respect anyone's money and do payments through ZELLE!!! he has paid this company for over a year and still took his money and told him that they were gonna give him a credit, knowing that they wasn't going to lend out another vehicle to him!

The shuttle driver was nice and dropped us off right out front. Despite having Enterprise, National and Alamo on the building and what looked like 3 doors they routed us all into one building/office. The clerks made short work of the line. I was asked about my insurance company (not sure if that is new to rentals or just to Alamo or Texas) but they didn't harass me about declining coverages. They also asked my deductible. The staff assisting me was nice (I told her I wanted to go to Buc-ee's and she asked where we were staying and googled the closest one for us. I also told her I was excited Texas had Quik Trips and she told me there was one right up the street. I asked about tolls and was told "oh yeah all our cars are equipped for tolls." I didn't see the toll transponder I have seen in other major cities with lots of toll roads so I didn't think anything of it. We did not take toll roads our first day. I asked the people we knew who lived in texas what their toll tags looked like as I could not find it on the car (found out it is a T in an orange circle says toll tag or something like it). Basically told us to suck it up and take toll roads, fees be damned (because what can you do?). I was pissed and anticipated a large toll bill (and I mean it was a lot for 4 days but at least Alamo doesn't gouge you on the "fee administration" of the tolls like other places). We returned the rental car 1/2 and got the toll bill today. Tolls were $58.62 for 4 days and the service charge was $19.80. I don't understand how people afford to drive in texas if you can rack up a $60 toll bill in 4 days but my husband said they can afford it because gas is so cheap. Ok so after gas station talk we went out to pick out our car. There was a good amount of standard SUV's (our rental class) and we were told to pick. We were walking up and down the aisle trying to decide what to pick and a staff asked us several times if we needed help. We picked a black Ford Edge which was pretty new (only 4500 miles!) that was nice. It fit all our luggage and passengers. It had dual climate control, heated seats and the giant screen that paired well with my husband's android. It was a great car to tool around in the 5 days we were there. We had to gas it twice and when my husband said gas was $37 I was like "how small is the tank?" but gas was only $2.49 Gassed it before return and it was $7 We had no issues returning the car as we put in the address on our rental contract and there were signs. We got there when a shuttle was about to take off but they waited for us! Shuttle driver was super helpful loading bags and getting us to the airport safely and timely. I would rent from this Alamo again if in the area and will likely rent from Alamo in the future.

We provided Alamo with our flight information in advance, so they knew which plane we were on. There was nobody anywhere, and no phone numbers answered. We ended up having to uber for $125 and now are without a rental car for our vacation.

On January 12, 2026, I rented a vehicle from Enterprise Rent-A-Car under a signed agreement for a…read moreweekly rental rate equivalent to $27.80 per day. This rental was associated with an insurance claim through Lemonade, which provides reimbursement of up to $30 per day (maximum $900). At the time of pickup, I was informed by an Enterprise representative that they did not have my insurance information available, and therefore I was required to place the rental on my personal credit card (Bank of America). Based on this representation, I signed the rental agreement and took possession of the vehicle. After leaving the location, I contacted my insurance company (Lemonade), who informed me that Enterprise should have been able to bill them directly. I then contacted the Enterprise location and spoke with staff, who stated they had corrected the issue and updated the rental to bill the insurance company directly. Based on this confirmation, I proceeded under the assumption that everything had been properly handled. However, upon returning the vehicle, Enterprise unilaterally changed the billing rate to nearly $60 per day, which is more than double the agreed-upon rate in my signed contract. When I questioned this, I was told that this higher rate is applied when insurance is involved. This directly contradicts the written and signed agreement and raises serious concerns about deceptive billing practices and potential insurance overcharging of a bill which should have been at not cost, to being charged on my credit card over one thousand dollars. Attempts to Resolve I made multiple attempts to resolve this issue: Contacted the rental location several times -- calls were not returned by the store manager who was supposed to call me. Eventually reached the store manager, who stated he would follow up but never did Continued attempts to reach the manager were ignored Escalated the issue to Enterprise Corporate, who have not followed up as promised Due to the lack of response and resolution, I have initiated a formal dispute with my credit card company (Bank of America). If this matter is not resolved, I am prepared to pursue legal action. Last, a BBB review was posted and feedback online to help save others from this company. Last, the car they gave me died due to a battery that failed. I had to call to get it jumped, return it to the store, and leave with another car.
