I ordered it, and the bread, sauce, veal and cheese were all excellent. Real veal, real cheese, excellent crusty roll. I spoke with the man who was working there (my guess is that he is the new owner) who is a proud Albanian (anyone who has been to Tirana will understand what an extraordinary place it is to visit) and really could not have been more engaging. That alone will ensure I will be back! As it is essentially a "takeout joint/shack," the ambiance is not romantic or artful(!), but the very pleasant demeanors of the folks there, along with a place that is not obviously bathed in grease or filth, make it more welcome than many other places.

I was in Canton recently with my wife, she wanted to find out if a landscaper lived in Canton. We stopped in at D&E on the main drag. Very impressed with the quality of the slices we ordered. Crispy, great sauce to cheese ratio. 10 bucks even for two lunches and drinks! The fella behind the counter loaded me up with pepperoni for my slice, it was terrific. I really liked the no frills vibe of the place, as if they put all the effort into the pizza. walked in the place was nasty just like their attitude. Drove all the way from North end for this. I guess they are as disgusting in person as TV. Thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt but they think everyone that walks the street is out to get them. Make it unsettling when your just their for food. Got a cheese pizza here and the crust was good but it was soggy and under cooked in the middle. If you can't get something as simple as a cheese pizza right, I'm definitely not going to risk anything else. Guy at the checkout could use some basic customer service training and not be angrily talking on his cell phone while checking out customers. No clue how this place is still in business. read more

This isn't cheap pizza, yet it tastes worse than Domino's and that's saying something. I don't usually leave 1-star reviews, but this deserved it. When I called, they were rude and dismissive like it was no big deal. They offered to remake the food but didn't want to give me a refund--which makes no sense. With something that disgusting in my food, I should have gotten a refund, no question. Honestly, I should have gotten both. Instead, I had to go all the way back there in person just to get my money back--even though I paid for delivery. On top of that, I ordered a steak bomb with extra meat and somehow ended up with more peppers than meat. The whole reason I paid for extra was because the last time the portions were skimpy--and I didn't even complain then. I simply asked for it to be made correctly this time. Instead, they tried to flip it and act like I was "complaining from the beginning," which wasn't true at all. When I got there, I forgot to bring the other sub with me, and they were acting like it was a hassle because of that. Mind you, I didn't eat it--I threw it away when I got home. Either way, the attitude was unnecessary. And after looking at other reviews, I'm clearly not the only one who's had issues like this. If this is what's ending up in customers' food, I don't even want to imagine what the kitchen looks like. This is beyond unsanitary and honestly something the Board of Health needs to look into. Save your money and go somewhere else. I didn't order anything else from here, and I won't ever be ordering again. This place is dirty, unprofessional, and clearly doesn't care about basic food safety. My camera does suck but you get the picture looks like drain hair or pubic smh so disgusting.
