And this place is an authentic, woman-owned small business that really puts the love in every donut! Today after getting a manicure and pedicure at a nearby salon, I walked around the strip mall and thought I'd give this place a try. It was lunchtime so I ordered a turkey sandwich on a croissant with lettuce tomato pickles jalapeños onion and mayonnaise. It had to be one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten! I have purchased on several occasions their versions of those deep fried sugared gut bombs, but they were for my office-mates to many appreciative moans and groans. I believe my first visit was when the Dodgers began their current run of successive trips to the postseason. Friendly owner lady enthusiastically agreed to dress up a dozen in Dodger Blue, complete with that familiar interlocking LA logo. So not only friendly service and great coffee, but maybe even some customization work as well if you ask nicely. Most every time I'm in OC I stop by Tasty's for their apple fritters and French crullers. But everything in there is super yummy. The best is to get the fritters when they are just out of the over and warm. The French crullers are just so light and heavenly!!! If I'm not mistaken, the French crullers are only available on the weekends, so plan your visit accordingly if your wanting to try it! They have vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and maple flavors. Vanilla and chocolate are my faves. My youngest loves the donut holes. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The crullers don't travel well, tried to bring home to Maui, HI and it didn't make it. Mind you it's an 5 hour flt plus whatever else time on the ground from whatever time u bought them. So you must enjoy them in the OC. read more

Stopped by here the other day for a quick bite, but couldn't stop at just one small donut. The donuts were amazing... not too sweet, just perfect... soft and delightful! I couldn't resist not getting a caramel/coffee blended drink that tasted a whole lot better than a Starbucks frappucino. I'm salivating at the thought of it now. I had to take turkey sandwich on a croissant to go and it was soooo delicious! The lady who made it knew exactly how to make it so it wouldn't get all soggy an hour later, I don't know how she did it, but it was SO good!
