The shape of my eyebrows is not great, I don't really think they look fuller, and yes they look a bit darker, but i feel like it only highlights the gaps of missing hair even more. First and last time doing eyebrow lamination or tinting. You can't really see in the photos, but one eyebrow is definitely thinner than the other. I hope they can grow out fast so I can repair the damage.

The women who did the threadings name was Pinkie I highly recomend asking for her as I told her how I wanted my eyebrows to look and she got it perfectly! The salon is well proportioned and clean. Service is great and no long waiting time. Even when there is a big line, staff takes their time to work on their customer. If you visit this salon anytime, ASK FOR MEENU. She is the best. She will work magic on your face and she always made me look beautiful. Again ask for MEENU whenever you visit this salon. I have been to few of their other locations in the city as well but given that Queens is easier of a commute for me, I have to say this is one of the best places for threading and waxing I have tried in Queens. I just let them know how I want my eyebrows done and they do it perfectly each time. For 5 dollars, its an excellent excellent place. Highly recommended. read more

Now I know who to go to religiously I paid $17 for full service and that was the most I ever paid but, it was honestly so worth it! read more

In cosmetology, a single-process service means one all-over color, but the staff explained it was only a root touch-up. The wash and overall service also felt rushed and incomplete. If the salon cannot provide the full service at the Groupon price, it would be better to adjust or remove the offer so customers know exactly what to expect. While the staff were polite, the experience felt more focused on the coupon limitations than on delivering the promised service. I reached out to schedule a consultation and she preferred that I send her a pic of my brows instead. Rather than have both of us waste time, she recommended that I grow my brows out for a month or so before paying her a visit - how considerate! Eliza is an expert in her field and a quick Google search on her will validate this with the accolades she's received. Her prices are fair for the level of service you'll receive: she first studies your facial structure and brow shape then waxes, plucks and trims her way to perfection. This is followed by tips on how to maintain and extend the work she's just done - she won't just tell you to come back and see her in X weeks, since everyone's brows grow at different paces. I also value Eliza's flexibility with scheduling and how she's never pushy about future appointments - sometimes my brows seem to have grown out overnight and she will accommodate my "need to see you ASAP! I'm a MONSTER!!" pleas. Other times, she'll send me a casual text reminder and we'll work on a time that's convenient for both of us. I no longer trust anyone else with my brows and hope that she continues to operate out of Queens in the future!

Highlights and Brazilian Blowout…read more Overpriced and damaged my hair. I paid $150 for highlights and $90 for single process to my base. I came back the next day and I paid $150 for keratin. The owner put a glaze in my hair, which made my hair very dark. When I mentioned my hair was too dark he said it looked beautiful when in fact, it was horrible. In addition, the processes caused extreme damage to my hair. The owner was very rude about the whole situation and told me there's nothing more he can do to fix my hair. And then he didn't respond for more than a week. My nephew's wedding was the following week and I was pressed to find someone to fix my hair. I used a salon in Long Island, where they condition my hair and fixed the color. I use the salon regularly as they do an excellent job and the prices are very reasonable. They do more with less rather than doing extra processes at extra cost. The salon charges $70 for single process, $60 for 1/2 head highlights and $70 for brazilian blowout (lower price, because of extremely fine hair). I would be happy to provide details for the salon if you are interested.
