Checked this place out after an event…read more Pro's: Customer service from the young lady attending to us was absolutely fantastic. Attentive, appropriately apologetic, honest, and polite. Half of our group (was a total of four of us) enjoyed their food. The restaurant was clean and bathroom smelled very pleasant. Pricing was fair for what was enjoyed. The focaccia bread was the star of the show for me. My guests enjoyed the shrimp scampi, but felt the portion was small and the salmon was delicious. I did taste a piece of the salmon and was jealous as I can confirm it was delicious...wonderfully seasoned and perfectly cooked. Con's: The other half of our party did not enjoy the food. Unfortunately, I was in that bunch. It was quite surprising as the menu is not robust at all; so our thought was that the items that ARE on the menu must be a delicious specialty. I had the pork chops with pasta and spinach. The pork chop was tough and the pasta was bland. The sauce that accompanied the meal was tasty and moved the overall meal from a 'no', to an 'ok'. Won't be back, but encourage you all to check them out as the other half of our table truly enjoyed their meals.

The staff at A'mano is super friendly and the person who took our order patiently listened to all of my customizations. He even came by later to give me more information on the breaded vegan chicken I ordered with my pasta. The complimentary focaccia house bread was delicious even without any dips (which you'll rarely ever hear me say as I'm not a fan of eating just bread). My pasta was pretty good and I especially loved the breaded vegan chicken which was very flavorful. My friend got a similar pesto pasta dish with real unbreaded chicken and thought it was decent too. The ambiance is pleasant and is great for both lunch and dinner. It was a bit pricey with all my customized items but I think it deserves a visit every now and then to satisfy my craving of interesting combinations of sauce - fresh pasta - protein!

Our server was new and still training, yet the service was warm, attentive, and seamless. The food was real, authentic Italian. We began with cheesy garlic bread that was perfectly baked and full of flavor. The fresh bread tasted homemade, crisp on the outside and warm and soft inside, with a wonderfully seasoned olive oil. My lobster ravioli came in a rich peppercorn cream sauce with wild mushrooms. The homemade ravioli were cooked perfectly al dente, and the sauce was thick, creamy, and deeply flavorful. Elisa's fresh chicken salad was equally delicious. What made the experience unforgettable, however, was Raffaele. He welcomed us personally, visited our table, connected with other guests, and made it clear how genuinely grateful he was that we had chosen his restaurant. His character became even more apparent after we returned to Ohio and I discovered I had lost my wallet. Raffaele reviewed his security cameras, searched the parking lot, and found it soaking wet from the rain. He then overnighted it to me and refused to accept any money for the postage. That is extraordinary kindness and "Unreasonable Hospitality" at its very best. If I still lived in Buffalo, Trattoria Aroma would unquestionably be my go-to Italian restaurant. Incredible food, excellent service, and hospitality every bit as authentic as the cuisine. We will absolutely return!

"Just Terrible" Cheese and Pepperoni Pizza…read more I know I've had pretty good "specialty" pizzas from Just Pizza in the past, but the time being now and the pizza being the basic cheese & pepperoni, I'm honestly struggling to remember a worse pizza that I've ever had in the Buffalo area. I'm a huge fan of pizza. If you could buy jerseys of your favorite pizza players, I would have several of my favorite pizza's home, away, Sunday and throwback jerseys. But I certainly wouldn't care to ever cheer on another Just Pizza cheese & pepperoni pizza again. It was pathetic. The sauce tasted like it was merely tomato paste. The cheese/topping was flavorless and gagging. The dough was like chewy cardboard, and not even the good kind of cardboard either; I wished it was a nice, tastier corrugated fiberboard, but it tasted more like waxy, paperboard carton like the kind milk is sold in. I would rather buy a piece of pizza from a vagrant under a bridge that he prepared with ingredients he found during his hobo adventures, and he cooked with fire from burning garbage, than eat Just Pizza cheese & pep again. If Sponge Bob Square Pants opened a pizzeria under the sea, literally, I would rather swim straight down to the bottom risking "the bends", only to wait in line behind pushy clams, starfish and octopi (octopi or octopuses?) to grab a slice of that soggy, salt-watery pie than eat Just Pizza cheese & pep again. I would rather eat pizza from Casa Di Pizza, even if their entire staff was diagnosed with hepatitis, tuberculosis, bronchitis, rabies, scurvy and typhoid fever, and after they all stood in a circle and sneezed on it repeatedly, than eat Just Pizza cheese & pep again. Switching gears back to seriousness I'd have to say that the caliber of company that the Just Pizza cheese and pepperoni pizza is in would be elementary school pizza and the free lunches pizza you can get at a playground during the summertime in the city. All three of those pizzas are spiraling to the bottom of the rankings in my mind. Moreover, it almost seemed like Just Pizza knew how bad that their cheese and pepperoni pizza was, but purposely made it worse to tank it to the bottom of the rankings like they were trying to earn a shot at having Connor McDavid or Jack Eichel flip pizzas for them next year.
