Came here on a weekday afternoon and service was great/it was pretty empty. Dimsum menu is not as big as Chinatown, but it has all my favorites (siumai, shrimp dumplings, spare ribs, sesame balls). Items are $1-2 more than Minghin (my usual go-to), but I'm inclined to say the dimsum here may even be more fresh than Minghin. Didn't get to try the regular menu this time. Ever since the opening of the restaurant, my fiancé and I have been visiting here frequently. I love the food, though there isn't many dim sum options compared to the big Chinese restaurant, all the items will sophisticatedly made. The service is top notch and the owners (a couple) are always super friendly. I like that they serve with reusable utensils rather the disposable ones. I always order the Singapore rice noodle and the fungus soup. Some of the signature dim sum items like shrimp dumpling or turnip cakes or lotus bun are also good choices. I also like how they serve the almond cookies as after-meal treat. Good dim sum that's not all the way in the city. Decently priced and all the food we got was pretty good. Nothing was disappointing. The shiu mai and short ribs were what I expected. Hot tea and iced water right when we sat down. It was fast and on point! We had the Beef Chow Fun and Singapore rice noodles with a side of Hot and Sour Soup. The soup was so authentic, I had really low expectations and this blew my mind. The amount of ingredients like bamboo shoots and tofu egg were so fulfilling and usually this soup becomes very thick and gooey because restaurants use too much of that tapioca powder (I think) or flour, but it's not like that at all here! I love spicy so I asked if I can make the Beef Chow Fun spicy, and they said sure but gave me what is considered spicy for someone who can't take spicy, which is totally OK because they got their location in mind. They got everything on their menu from dim sum to veggies to chicken/beef/pork/shrimp and even lobster and whole soy sauce or ginger scallion chicken. The staff was attentive and we ended up having leftovers still because of the big portions, SO worth the price. Something special about this place is the dessert in the end. We stopped by here for dim sum because Ming Hin was too far away. Aside from the convenience, I would say Ming Hin is the more authentic & tastier Cantonese Dim Sum joint. They carry a lot of the same traditional dim sum options, with Ming Hin having a much bigger menu. Quality wise, D Cuisine isn't bad, but the former is better. If you're in the area and craving dim sum, D Cuisine has fast service and it's not a bad choice; however, if you're debating between different options and have more time to spare, I would choose Ming Hin. read more

The place wasn't too busy around 5:30 on a Saturday and we were seated immediately. They bring out hot green tea in a cute little teapot for free when you dine-in, which was a nice surprise. I ended up trying the Singapore rice noodles, Beef Chow Fun, the deep-fried shrimp rolls, and the egg tarts. The serving portion for each dish was enough to easily share between two people. Out of everything, my favorite dish was the Singapore rice noodles. I also really liked the egg tarts. Everything I tried off the menu was delicious. The staff was very attentive. Also, we didn't have to wait long for our order. We had so much food leftover that they boxed up for us. And I'm very happy with how reasonably priced the dishes were. I initially wanted to go there for dim sum but the selection was too small so we ordered regular entree instead. The interior is modern chinese style. It's nice and clean, well lit. Food is nice, but a bit too much msg, i was dehydrated after eating there lol would I do it again? Yes The scallop and tofu was a good combination of texture and taste. Tofu's softness and the slight chew and salt from the rehydrated scallop not only enhances the umami but also give you something to chew on. Salt and pepper smelt is crispy, a little too greasy but nothing still about the same as the ones you can get from chinatown without actually having to travel to chinatown. The menu selection is quite big, though I did encounter raw chicken when I ordered the scallion chicken. They brought it back but only to microwave it and made it a bit rubbery and over cooked. I really wanted to like this place so that I could have an alternative dimsum option for days that I didn't want to go all the way to Chinatown. Sadly this place fell short. My friends and I went on a Thursday evening around 7:30 PM. We were seated right away at the very front next to the host stand. The restaurant did have a few tables already but it wasn't packed. The food itself was not fresh. The way my boyfriend described it was, "it's like they brought the food from Chinatown and re-heated it here" - so spot on. Most of our food was lukewarm. Our dishes also came out one by one, instead of multiple at once, which made it difficult to even enjoy the food since we were waiting so long in-between dishes. The taste was ok, overall. The service was terribly slow. It was nearly impossible to flag down a server because they spent more time at the back tables. By the time we were able to get a server's attention, they'd forget what we asked for and we had to flag them down again. For example, we needed more dipping sauce and a cup of water (there was a fly in my boyfriend's cup). They came back with our next dish, no sauce, no water. So once again, we asked for it. The next time they came back, they brought the sauce, no water. It took another 10 minutes at least just to get a server to ask for water! I had higher hopes due to the awesome reviews on Yelp! Food: 9.5/10 yes, the only minus thing is their Dim Sum menu serves with Hoisin sauce (which is still good) but not soy sauce. But the quality and freshness of the food make it a 9.5. Service: 10/10. We ordered take out today, Christmas Day and expected a much longer wait than usual. I was told 45 minutes and it ended up being 1 hour and 35 minutes.
