We did not have huge mysterious problems - a toilet that was not flushing correctly every time, and a dripping faucet outside. They were scheduled at 9 am, and they left at 10:25. There were a few questionable things. Not about Matt and Jason, who seem to be very nice people. But about their charges. They exchanged a flapper in the toilet for a Toto flapper. A name brand, so it might be more costly. Matt charged $38 for that Toto flapper, which is selling for $6.86 elsewhere. I understand that materials must be upcharged, but that seems excessive. He also charged $180 for 2 hours labor. I cannot quite figure that one out. Perhaps bc there were two plumbers here, then each was a 1 hr labor charge? But this was a one plumber job. Changing a flapper in a toilet, or a leaky faucet only required one plumber. They were not actually here two hours, so it could not have been charging 1 plumber's labor for two hours. ? Not sure about how this charge was figured. The other questionable thing was the credit card processing fee. I always pay in cash or check bc I hate that a businss has to pay 3-3.5% fee. I paid him with a check. However, Matt caught my attention when he said he charges a 5% fee, if you pay with a credit card. Not sure if he is aware of this, but that is illegal in WA state. The state allows you to charge the actual % fee from the credit card company, OR a maximum of 4% . Charging 5% is against the state law. So clearly this is questionable on his part as the business owner. Overall, they seemed committed to doing a thorough job, and helping the customer, but their charges may be excessive

An AI voice answered the phone, asked me why I was calling, told me it was going to look up my account details, said it had a problem and that someone would contact me to follow up, and then hung up on me. A few hours later I got a text from "Cameron". I complained to "Cameron" about the experience I had from the AI phone answerer. "Cameron" apologize and told me that such an experience would frustrate him too...then "Cameron" decided to be transparent with me and tell me that he was in fact AI as well and "his" real name was "Carson". We went back and forth about 6 times to explain the problem I was having and to set up an appointment. Then "Cameron" told me that the time we worked out wasn't confirmed yet and that someone would be calling me to confirm the time. Thanks, "Cameron". This was Friday around 4:00PM. THE NEXT MORNING, a human being (I think) texted me from the same number to confirm the appointment. After I let them know how unhappy I was with the AI scheduling service, a human (I think) did call me and apologized for it. Then, on the day of the appointment, the technician arrived an hour and a half after the 12:00-16:00 window we had set up. I had to call them at 16:30 to ask if the technician was coming and they told me he would be there soon. When he did arrive, in the middle of me making dinner for my family, he told me that the faucet would need to be replaced and that it would be $750 (!!) in labor to fix it. Then I was charged $83 for his time (which I guess would be rolled into the service). So, in the end I still had a leaky faucet and I was out $83 with the option to pay $670 to replace a faucet (plus the cost of the faucet itself). For that price, I'm just going to do it myself. Then the spam texts started coming from "Cameron" asking about the estimate. I got one every day until I told it to stop texting me. This company used to be great but I'm going to be looking around the next time I need a plumber. Please ditch this stupid AI system. Please don't charge your customers if you're extremely late for your own four hour window - especially if the diagnosis takes five minutes and is "I can't fix it - replace the faucet".

Donny was extremely thorough in identifying the issue and diagnosed that the unit I had was not the right size for my home. In addition the piping was inefficient and not up to code. They offered to refund the prior install, designed a sleek solution with a new combi boiler and somehow managed to make everything fit perfectly into the very small mechanical room in my home. This was a complicated install made even more challenging by the small space, but Donny's workmanship and problem-solving was excellent. They were able to accommodate my schedule, finished on time and were collaborative with me throughout the process and helped me land on a solution and price that I was satisfied with. My home has never been this comfortably heated in the winter before while not compromising on hot water in the bathroom and kitchen. Imagine my luck when, in a new construction home (2025, but close enough), the airgap started to…read moreleak when my dishwasher was running a normal cycle. It was a Saturday, so... not a great start to the weekend, and also, not a lot of (decent) plumbers available! Anyway, I posted a project on Yelp, and Homeservice Plumbers were fairly quick to respond after my other Project options (not to be named here) either demanded a phone number or made wishy-washy timing range options (which were not amenable to my schedule). Homeservice Plumbers was quick, to the point, and not pushy or demanding at all anytime I was talking to them. I scheduled for Tuesday between 12-2pm arrival, and Xavier, the first person who came out to see the problem, showed up in a timely manner (just before 12pm!) as he had another service call in the area. He was respectful of property (brought his own shoe coverings!) and was also pleasant to work with. Unfortunately he didn't have the tools, but he was the one to call in Nick who had the requisite tools for the job. He confirmed the service would be possible, and off he went. The next person, Nick was great to work with - he arrived promptly at 5pm (the quoted range was 3-5pm, which was perfectly reasonable), respected the property (brought his own shoe coverings, asked to use a small bowl to capture the grease drippings from the p-trap, and cleaned up after the work was done), and was able to provide a fair estimate for a high value of quality work. He finished by 6:30pm and confirmed the drain was working, and verbally confirmed (it's not on the invoice but I hope I never have issues again!) that there's a one year labour warranty - great deal! I never caught the phone "operators" name (my bad, she called me THRICE and I still never caught her name), but she was cordial, polite, and quickly handled my concerns for updates on when the plumber(s) would arrive. Scheduling through Yelp was simple and easy - and having no "service call" fee means there's no obligation to go through with anything you're not comfortable with. Anyway, short story (really) long: this company is on my list of "high quality work at a fair rate", because (1) they don't charge for service calls, which is a bold move in today's service-oriented environment, (2) they are reasonable with pricing given that I'd done some research beforehand, and (3) they verbally offered a warranty for their services, which means that they're willing to stand by the quality of their work. Call them today for your plumbing issues. Fair, honest, trustworthy service is hard to come by - the companies you see on the billboards aren't the only options in town!

The first time I used them was in 2020. I got a quote for a plumbing fix and lo and behold it required another $5-10,000 from the original quote because the person who made the quote 'wasn't appropriately trained.' They did work that ultimately couldn't be to code because of their lack of knowledge and preparation. I again used them in 2025, thinking I'd give them a chance and they already worked with me and knowing our past and how it didn't go well and they would try to right their wrong. The toilet they installed was leaking. The person removed the toilet and automatically put it in their truck and said the ring under the toilet had eroded and needed repair and the toilet I had was severely rusted needing replacement. I asked why they wouldn't have noted the ring issue before as it wasn't noted in their prior report in installing the toilet, and he didn't know why. I then asked if we could just replace the ring and not the toilet as they wanted to charge me a exorbitant amount for a replacement toilet that wasn't in anyway special. He made the comment that probably when he removed the toilet he cracked it and so he couldn't replace it. Then we asked to see the toilet in his truck in which it looked fine and we asked him to put it back. Also, we investigated the toilet tank, and there was no rust stains visible. Essentially, we were lied to, and previous work was not sufficiently performed to avoid the issue that we had at the moment. He fixed the ring and replaced the toilet that we had originally. I wouldn't trust this company ever again. I think they price gouge the customer, lie about work that needs to be done or underestimate so they get the bid and then come in and tell you it's gonna cost a significant amount more.
