D-Spot was good, the food was tasty, but overwhelming. I found the ordering setup to be difficult and leads to congestion. You walk in and walk into the ordering line as orders are taken at the counter but there is no clear queue area. The menu is very large and the lower lighting can make it hard to clearly make out the heat color-coding. In addition, I felt the six wings of one flavor was very limiting. This is definitely a place I would 100% recommend checking out the menu before you arrive. I got the Asian BBQ, the flavor was good, but the honey was overpowering. If you are dining in, talk to the cashier up front and they will give you a menu. Find your seat and pick out the many flavors they offer. Once you're ready to order go back to the cashier and give your order. Blue cheese and ranch are $0.50 each. If you're a ranch person, you might be a bit disappointed as I think that their ranch is kinda watery. I'd stick to the blue cheese. If you are getting a refill for your drink, you're supposed to get a new cup. I'm definitely appreciative for their care and cautiousness! We ordered, Puff the Magic Dragon, Muy Thai and Magic wings. Puff the Magic Dragon: This is in the category of their 2nd hottest sauces. This is my personal favorite sauce. It's a sweet and spicy sauce. The glaze over the wings is sweet and spicy, then it's topped with a savory spicy mayo sauce and a green earthy sauce that helps round out the sweetness of the sauce. Out of 10 I would rate the heat on these wings as 9/10. You will feel these wings after you eat them. Muy Thai: The wings are smothered with a thick peanut sauce with a little siracha sauce over it. I think it was too much sauce. The peanut sauce is pretty heavy and I think it's a play on chicken satay. I think it needs some acidity to balance out the richness of the peanut, like how with chicken satay is served with a lightly picked cucumber. Magic: This one is a dry rub. And honestly, its pretty underwhelming and I feel like I this is how I make wings at home. It tasted like a seasoned chicken wing with salt, pepper, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. This place is pretty darn good! I came here too hungry though and hated waiting for my wings to be ready. I think this would be the perfect place to come with six people and then everyone picks one type of wing and everyone gets to try six different types of wings! That would be awesome because there are SO MANY SAUCES!! We got the Hulk, Caramel Delight and the Magic along with some tater tots. The tater tots were my favorite part because they had so much seasoning and I loved the seasoning!!! I also really liked all of the wings. I wish the Magic had more dry rub on them. I like my dry tub throughout without seeing any skin and this wasn't the case. I'll try another one next time to see if other flavors have more. I really liked the Magic seasoning and so wanted more more more! The Hulk was the perfect blend of sweet and silent spicy. Caramel Delight had good caramel and could have used more chocolate and salt-I didn't really get any of those flavors. Like some others have said the wings could be crispier and that's true for some of them and some were crispy so I don't know. Looking forward to trying more flavors in the future! Our travel party just returned from the D-spot. This place has order at the counter service. The hostess was very good as the wings selection is overwhelming! Tell her what you like and her suggestions are right on. The place had plenty of seating. Our order was served in a very timely manner considering the size of our group. I ordered the Luciann which was a 2 patty cheese burger. The burger and fries arrived hot and without ketchup. We asked for ketchup and the server was disappointed encouraging us to try them without. The fries had a good taste with a hint of sugar almost giving them a cinnamon flavor. The burger also had good flavor. The burgers are served medium and chances are it will be closer to rare. Next time I will ask for well done. The ketchup final arrived. Packets? I guess they are serious about discouraging its use! Get some Heinz and be done with it. I was able to taste a couple of the wings. My favorite was the dry rub. Not to hot but good flavor. Not a fan of the peanut butter coating but it was different. Blueberry batter, still too sweet. I like that the menu isn't too busy, and it's in a good location. Their selection of sauces and dry rubs is fantastic and I love the creativity and originality behind their sauces. We ordered the Four Seasons dry rub, Tarantula, War Hammer, and Buffalo Bill. The dry rub was OK - tasty but nothing to write home about. I felt like it could have used more seasoning. The Tarantula was my personal favorite. It was super flavorful with a mild kick (which was perfect for me). My fiancé loved the War Hammer and said that would definitely be a regular pick for him. A few other reviews have said the wait times can be long, and we experienced that too. We probably waited 35-40 minutes between ordering and getting our food. They were incredibly busy tonight. The staff were all very friendly and responsive. Our order took longer than we were told, but we were offered popcorn to tide us over. The restaurant is housed in a strip mall with plenty of parking. It is an order and seat yourself style dinning. Their menu is categorized in order of how hot the wings are and they have a nice selection of about six beers on tap. We came on a Friday night and the place was busy but there were plenty of seating so we found a place to sit right away. My wife and I ordered twelve wings each and had plenty of leftovers for home.
