Honestly, I will pay you money if you can find a food truck better than Da Boot to Da Bay. This is hands down my favorite food truck I've ever ordered from. The crawfish ettouffee is astounding. Truly next level. This is as authentic as it gets. You could close your eyes and immediately be transported back to New Orleans. This ettouffee is so good, it rivals The Gumbo Shop in New Oreans for the best crawfish ettouffee. Seriously. It's that good. And it is absolutely packed with crawfish. I would give it 12/10 if I could. You don't want to skip this dish. The cheesy shrimp and grits were also incredibly delicious. The shrimp is cooked to perfection. It might need a tad bit more sauce to even out the sauce to grits ratio, but man is this a great sauce as well. 9/10 The catfish po'boy - my dad really wanted the oyster po'boy but unfortunately they ran out of oysters by the time we got there (we got there late in the afternoon). Let me tell you that catfish poboy is exactly what you want from a po'boy. The catfish was fried perfectly, great seasoning on the fry batter. The roll had the perfect mouth feel. And the crystal hot sauce and lemon rounded out the whole sandwich. I really loved it. It's as authentic as you're gonna get 9.5/10 The gentleman who took our order was so pleasant and accommodating. Even if the food wasn't stellar, I would still want to support him because he's just that nice. But to produce such excellent food and be that welcoming?? Truly incredible. SPARK social is a great place to get food and drinks and just hang out. It was truly the perfect day, with amazing weather. We were right by the mini golf which is always a fun time. I really love red beans and rice, but I think I'd rather get it from Popeyes. Their version is pretty peppery, but I found the rice mushy and the sausage and meat to be a bit gummy. Excellent food I will visit the main restaurant on fourth Street pretty soon. From a referral of a family member, I decided to check out the menu.. My eyes lit up and my mouth started to salivate When I saw that they had oyster po boy and oxtail on their menu, I had to try!!! I typically don't like ordering sandwiches thru delivery for fear that it will get soggy by the time I received it so, I opted to pick it up myself.. Mind you, this was their 1st day of operation so when I got there, it was busy during the lunch hour and parking became challenging... I walked in, checked in with the tablets located in the front area and it told me what locker to pick up my order of oyster po boy, bbq oxtail and red beans & rice.. I excitingly grabbed my bag and headed home back to San Bruno to dig into my lunch... I opened up my oyster po boy and to my surprise it wasn't soggy and the fried oysters were still crunchy!! It was so good! Brought me back to my visits to NOLA! The bbq oxtails and red beans & rice were for dinner but I couldn't help but take a few bites of each to try.. Tried to go to the place, it is really geared for just 3rd party ordering through Uber, Door Dash etc. type services and not set up or practical for walk in business at all. There is no place to order. While there appeared to be a counter kiosk, we were told if we tried, it would take a couple of hours and were encouraged to just try the above. Parking is also limited as it is an industrial area with a cab company next door and a lot of no parking signs everywhere. So we decided to go elsewhere. read more
