This might be one of the best meal I've ever eaten! I ordered the 48. It took a looong time (maybe 30 min) to arrive (so I suggest buying an appetizer or bringing a friend to keep you company). Sat down to eat 6/23/2024 got handed the menu and silverware napkin roll, when a cockroach runs out of the napkin roll across the table and disappeared I will never recommend OR eat at this place ever again! Wow the Chicken Pho was so fresh and delicious! I had it go to but it still tasted phenomenal. Just needed to heat up the broth then mix everything together. I would of liked more chicken though. I'm sure there was a solid 5-6 ounces but especially in conjunction with all the noodles, it seemed like bowl was 75% noodles with 25% being a mix of broccoli and chicken. Maybe that's the normal ratio when it comes to pho but more meat would of made it perfect for me. I wonder if you can ask for double meat? Worth a try! I am leery of any restaurant that tries to capture, prepare and present an entire continents menu of food. It seems disingenuous and disrespectful to the culture that the food represents to lump them into a single bucket. It also prevents the important nuance of regional flavors to surface when you are only looking at a nation in total. As we all know within China there are wildly different regional styles and flavors, so even saying "Chinese food" is a misrepresentation if it is only representing one region, much less an entire continent. I suppose it also comes down to that I don't trust anyone, even a talented sous chef or chef to be able to consistently and accurately represent so many regional or national styles in their cooking. That said, a friend pulled me in, and we loved it. Great staff. Great atmosphere. For food we stuck to the core of the menu, Vietnamese. The special request for fatty Pho broth was amazing. I was starving when i came here, and it looks like i barely made a dent in the pad thai it was such a huge portion. no complaints here lol! Excellent Vietnamese restaurant located in downtown Olympia! I was in Olympia hitting up some places I have been meaning to try and check out . As I was wrapping up my outing I always like to finish off with a meal... knowing how traffic can be in regards to unpredictable I always like to have a happy tummy before heading home. At Da Nang I had their excellent Singapore Noodles with chicken. The dish was very fresh, flavorful and highly enjoyable. In addition to that I had a fabulous Thai Iced Tea! Pho broth was just ok. I got the combo with meatballs and rare beef, although I didn't mean for that to be my order. I must have described it incorrectly as I am not a fan of pho meatballs (no menu other than on the front entrance window, which was occupied only other potential guests). I tend to be a Pho Snob - as I had a Vietnamese neighbor that made it homemade along with lived in Northern Virginia near some amazing Pho restaurants. So - this is fresh and edible - but the broth is what makes it for me - which this did not. I also tried one bite of the meatball - just to see if maybe I could like it - but - nah - took those out of soup. I have probably eaten here about 20 times. The food has always been absolutely great. I love their chicken pho when I am sick. I also like to order extra chicken springs rolls to go and take them to work for lunch the next day. The staff have always been courteous. The restaurant is clean. The ONLY downside is that they seem to be constantly understaffed - with sometimes only one server taking care of the entire restaurant. They should hire a few more servers during busy times. read more

Ate here based on other Yelpers review. I chose the Chicken Pho based on multiple reviews. Those reviews were spot on!! This pho was full of chicken and veggies. I loved the broth and the garlic did make a difference when you tried it with the broth. I loved this bowl of pho and it was very filling. The Da Nang special pho came with a plate of meat to add to the bowl of pho. It was full of meat! These are very hearty bowls of pho. We ordered the small and it was very filling. Well worth the price! The fresh spring roll was delicious. I don't like peanut sauce so I was glad it was in a squirt jar. I prefer the hot sauce and fish sauce with my roll. read more

Oh dang. I've found my fav Asian vegetarian restaurant in Olympia! Vegetarians should be all over this place. Lucky to find this place. Won't lie. Been here 5 times in the last week and a half. Thankfully the waiter was different twice. Their vegetarian pho and sweet and sour imitation chicken are spot on! Uber delish. Best pho ever. I love all the veggies and generous tofu pieces. I'm still dreaming about it. The vegetarian fried rice was as expected. You may have a hard time finding their restaurant from the outside. I ordered takeout for my family and used the ordering system from the website. All of the pictures were inaccurate and the food was all deep fried which was not included in the description. Needless to say we were really disappointed. the sauces were like old gravy, and the chicken tasted like frozen chicken nuggets that had been triple deep-fried. Each of us felt a little sick to our stomach afterward because the food that we thought we were ordering was a sauté which showed in the photos as plain chicken and what we got was all deep fried food. It was only our party after the party that was there when we got there and a few walk in (probably for pick up)...so service was fair. Water is unfiltered. I had the prawn scallop Singapore noodles, which I have never had before...so nothing to compare it to. It was good...a lot more veggies than seafood for the price. My son had the fried rice with prawns, bbq pork and sausage...he didnt care for the sausage. The other person in our party had the Mongolian beef, which she stated was different. We started out with egg rolls and some wonton soup. Egg rolls...your average roll, good...but nothing special. Wonton soup was good...not sure about the filling in the wontons, it was different than I have ever had, but the addition of baby bok choy and broccoli was nice. Our total was nearly $70. Yes good pho broth and the small is plenty big for one person. I had the Danang and the combo of lemongrass pork and chicken provided a nice flavor splash for the soup broth. The total price with a good tip is around $13 for the small. I knew I was going to order the Danang so I didn't look at the menu but after I had the soup I was wondering if there was a chicken breast option instead of the processed chicken. I only gave 4 stars because I've had real chicken breast at other pho restaurants. But definitely a good solid pho can be had here. The well done beef pho is delicious! The broth is rich and flavorful. For take out I have had to heat it up as it cools on our 5 min drive (or doesn't come super hot). Temperature is def a personal preference. We've also had the mongolian beef- my husband loved it and they do not skimp on the red pepper, and we've had the chicken fried rice- kids liked it but found it to be too plain. The restaurant has a beautiful relaxing atmosphere with a large fountain, many live green plants, soothing lighting, a fireplace, and sculptural touches throughout. Hot tea was brought to the table automatically, which was a nice touch I appreciated after coming in from a cold walk outside. The $7 chicken sandwich filled the entire plate! Definitely two meals for me. Da Nang is listed as inexpensive asian food on yelp/google maps so I was a little surprised I couldn't get any sort of stir-fry-noodle dish (even vegetarian) for under $15. The main entrees are all $13-$15 and the bubble teas will set you back $6. That said, I'm used to eating out in a small town where prices are more modest, and perhaps this is in line with what lunch costs in Olympia - and as previously mentioned, the portions are generous. There is more private seating upstairs, but beware that the servers don't actually go up there - so I wasted some time waiting and wondering before returning downstairs. :) read more

I got a chicken pho, the broth was really good and flavors amazing, I was weirded out by the amount of broccoli that was is in it because I've never had broccoli in my pho but i just took it out no problem. The service was decent, we were seated very quickly, treated politely, and got our menus and drinks fast. The place was clean and cozy. Three of us dined in. Guy was courteous but got two out of three orders wrong. Ordered a pho tai - rare beef pho - instead got a dry bowl of noodles, cooked beef and vegetables. Ordered a pad thai with chicken, got some thin noodles with tofu. Told the waiter and got the same thin noodle dish back without the tofu (probably picked the tofu out). Third time said we ordered pad thai, finally got wide noodles with chicken but the the taste was nothing like pad thai. Was too sweet and tasted like they added ketchup. Absolutely horrible. Big mistake coming here. If you want authentic Thai, this is not the place for it. Save your money and misery, find a better food place. read more
