    All of Da Kine Combo
    Christian-Immanuel C.

Located inside the Maui mall so there's plenty of parking outside. When we showed up we were greeted with friendly smiles and seated very quickly. It wasn't too busy for a Sunday afternoon but there were a few tables occupied. By the time we left, it was almost a packed house. The vibe inside is very lively with the music and the background noise of families conversing which made it feel homey. The All Da Kine Combo with Shrimp, Clams, and Mussels was flavorful and the sauce was the star of the show that tied it all together. There were also pieces of Portuguese sausage as well as potatoes and corn, inside the bag. Definitely advise scooping up the sauce and putting it over your rice to take full advantage of all the flavors!

Looks like food portion got smaller for $56.99. No 1 free refill for drinks anymore. Service was okay. Expected to get all food at the same time but no. Took awhile to get our drinks too.

On point always delicious! Just remember cash only. They are always busy. Our fave is the Hawaiian scampi.

Have heard friends rave about this place often! We finally had a day off, was nearby and hungry - trifecta!! The establishment is clean and tastefully decorated with a very readable menu board. If you like seafood, they serve it here by the pound, with a choice of four different ways to season it, and a host of sides. I thoroughly enjoyed a pound mussels, served with a big bowl of rice! Bf ordered the beer battered shrimp and fries. Our server was very friendly and helpful. She took the time to go over the different parts of the menu and how to order. She also took the time to give us a brief history of the restaurant, it's sister restaurant in Lahaina and its owners. Definitely plan to return to try their seafood combo special!

    Dozen oysters!

Came here for the first time and it was busy! The party I was in took up majority of the restaurant but the staff was quick to take care of each table and they were so kind and sweet! The food was good too! We got a combo, seafood was good and not overcooked.. oh and got my oyster fix, so yummy! Then ended with dessert, cheesecake was amazing! Would come again but at a less busy time, can get crowded pretty quick!

    Disappointing Crab Boil.

The crab boil had no seasoning or spices. We asked for everything in the spices and extra hot for the sauce. The boil came out mild with no flavor. I was disappointed considering it has great reviews.

Great food. Casual place in a mall. Shrimp is top class. If you don't mind the mess get the shrimp boil served in a bag.

We've been coming here for years and I've always enjoyed my experiences here, but last night I had a dish that compelled me to write a review. The oxtail soup which is listed as a favorite is a dish I've been eyeing for a while, but it's usually been too warm for me to crave it. But last night was the night. I'm getting over a cold and it's been raining off and on for weeks. The bowl arrived at the table with a plate underneath - smart move because it takes some work to eat oxtail soup. Armed with my fork and spoon, I went at it. The first taste floored me. It was perfectly seasoned and I could taste the fresh ginger, the broth was a beautiful brown color, there was plenty of napa cabbage and it came with a dish of a scoop of glossy steamed rice and steamed carrots, zucchini and broccoli. Our waitress offered to bring over condiments so I went for the soy sauce - sprinkled on the rice and veggies, I noticed that the veggies might have had a little sesame oil flavor on them so that made me happy. A spoonful of rice dunked into the broth with some of the tender fall of the bone oxtail meat, and a little crunch of the napa cabbage and I was in absolute heaven. I tasted my husband's pork adobo and that was equally as delicious as always. But that soup - that's what really did it for me last night and stays with me today. I walked out of Tante's with a swollen and happy belly and a fresh, tiny piece of ginger stuck between my teeth...a treat for later.

The food was great and so was the service. The prices were good and the portions were generous. I had shoyu chicken and my husband had ribs. Neither one of us were able to finish ours and we wanted to because it was delicious. The meat just fell off the bone. I did order a piece of cake to go. After getting back to our room I realized it was an ice cream cake so even as full as I was I tried to eat some cake before it all melted. The had the place decorated all up for Christmas. The lady that waited on us was super nice and kept our drinks filled. I love that attention.

They've been part of the island's food scene for over 12 years now, and I still remember their off-the-beaten-path spot on Hobron Avenue in Kahului. You would have never guessed there was delicious food being served up there, but those who knew, knew. These days, you can find them in Kahului parked at Da Tambayan Corner on Lono Avenue, or sometimes popping up out at Ho'okipa. Now, full disclosure -- I don't eat raw fish, so I can't personally vouch for their poke bowls, but that's what they're known for and I've had a number of friends and family enjoy it. What I can vouch for, though, is their fried poke -- perfectly seasoned ahi cubes, floured and fried, served over rice and lettuce, and drizzled with a creamy mayo aioli. Get it hurricane style for extra sauce and furikake seasoning -- it's delicious and gives it an extra boost as once in a while it's on the drier side. Another favorite is the poke bake, which is just as satisfying and generously portioned. Started getting this recently and it hits the spot. Highly recommend either dish, especially if you're like me and prefer your fish cooked. And whatever you do, don't skip the furikake fries -- curly fries topped with aioli and furikake. SO good. Beyond the great food, my team has worked with Like Poke for company events, and they're always a hit. Friendly service and consistent quality eats that keep people coming back -- they're a favorite among locals for a reason.

Food: We ordered the honey walnut shrimp, miso butterfish, garlic furikake fries, hamachi sashimi, garlic noodles, and crispy chicken. My favorite was the hamachi sashimi. What I enjoyed about this dish was the diced maui onion that offset the citrus from the ponzu. The flavors are light, and refreshing. The most disappointing was the crispy chicken. I thought it was too salty, but that's my preference and salt tolerance. The miso butterfish was also a great dish. The fish was buttery and flavored well. Not too saucy but the perfect amount of sauce. Service: Service is friendly, like most of the restaurants on Maui. The food was served in a timely manner. The ambiance is casual and felt like a bar restaurant. Overall, I'm not sure if I would return. After ordering 6-7 dishes, I wanted to be blown away by at least 4-5 of them, but that wasn't the case. Do yourself a service and try it out at least once if you are curious!
