I have been here a handful of times and know that this is a beloved hole in the wall for pho & anything else Vietnamese. I always get the Cha Gio (Deep fried shrimp-pork egg rolls with fish sauce) & Hu Tieu Xao (stir fried rice noodles with shrimp, pork, squid, imitation crab and vegetables). So good! Prompt & friendly service always. Always happy to eat here!

Been going here since I was little. The prices are so cheap. The service is so quick. The portions are huge. I don't think anything has changed since back then. Lots of seating inside as well.

Wowwwww my new favorite vietnamese restaurant. This place is authentic and the prices are so reasonable. You can tell because their menu items is written in vietnamese first haha. This meal was soo good. The pho was so delicious. My vietnamese broken rice dish was also really good, but the steamed egg cake was quite small compared to other restaurants. The pork chop was so juicy and fresh. The fish sauce was chefs kiss. We got the pho-xl and holyyyy they were so generous with their portions and that bowl was huge. The pho came with sliced beef, briskets, tendon, tripe, and vietnamese meatball. Broth was so flavorful. Service is very quick and efficient. There are a bunch of tables inside. There is plenty of parking. They also sell desserts upfront by the cahier. I tried their vietnamese banana dessert ($4) and it was sooo delicious - not overly sweet and so worth. I am so happy I found this place because I will definitely be coming back. They do take card which is nice!!

Ordered 48 tofu spring roll wrapped in rice paper and 4c pho with beef ox-tail add tendon and tripe. The oxtail was good but very messy so I probably would not reorder it but I enjoyed it. The tribe and tendon were great. Service again was fast but not friendly and they kept forgetting things like extra bowls and silverware.

Literally the best food in town, I've never had food made with so much love. The authenticity + the price is absolutely unbelievable. You can get a bahn mi sandwhich anywhere, but nowhere does it like Da Vang does. Everybody and their mother has to try da vang at least once. I get #75 and #39 every time I go.

A no frills mom & pop place with good Vietnamese food. They have more decor now sprucing up the place a bit. We ordered #36 & 38c. #36 is rice vermicelli noodles w/BBQ pork, bean sprouts & fish sauce. #38c is rice vermicelli noodles w/BBQ shrimp, bean sprouts & fish sauce. Service is very quick. Food was consistent from the last time we visited. Shared parking lot.

Authentic Pho That Hits the Soul -- Every. Single. Time. Phoenix, Arizona' If you're looking for real Vietnamese comfort food, stop scrolling and park yourself here. This spot doesn't just serve pho -- it masters it. The broth is deep, rich, and aromatic -- the kind that whispers "made from scratch with love." Every bite feels like you're being fed by someone's Vietnamese grandma who knows exactly what you need on a cold day, a long day, or any day. The beauty of this place? There's something for everyone. Craving fried rice? They've got it. Noodles? Plenty. Stewed beef? Melts in your mouth. Fried fish, sautéed chicken, vegan and veggie plates? All handled with skill and flavor. The cooks here don't just follow the menu -- they read minds. Whatever you're craving, they'll make it happen. A quick PSA for my fellow foodies: don't show up on Wednesdays. They're closed all day. No exceptions. No secret pho club. Just respect their day off and come back Thursday hungry. The service? Friendly, fast, and genuinely kind -- no fake smiles here. The food? Top-notch. The vibe? Authentic and welcoming. I could honestly eat here every day of the week. Highly recommended -- twice, because it deserves to be said twice. To my fellow tellers and yelpettes: this spot is the real deal. Come hungry. Leave happy. Return often. Jordan --

3.5 Clean restaurant. Vegetables and herbs scrupulously clean and washed. Husband's Bun Bo Hue was very good. Lots of protein. Fresh rolls were definitely pre-made but fresh. My grilled pork was more like a Filipino longanisa sausage (minus casings) in texture, fatty and sweet (different to what we get in Toronto and not to my personal taste). The rice nooodles were perfect and the vegetables fresh. The fish sauce was perfect AND picante! The sour plum juice is a MUST HAVE. A good option in Phoenix. Prices were very reasonable. Service is matter of fact and to the point. LOL.

My first original Vietnamese restaurant visit more than 15 years ago that won my heart over! The food is impeccable! I like to order a lot of food cause I know how good it is going to be. And I definitely always wanna have some to take home!!! The pace and service is very fast. Yet it's quiet enough to enjoy your meal and there's enough space for large crowds! This is the absolute top-tier Vietnamese Restaurant. I completely recommend!

Hole in the wall place, but the food is GOOD! I got the chả giò, Vietnamese egg rolls & Bún Thịt Nướng, vermicelli noodles and pork, plus a soy milk! The service is friend and always quick.

Everything was exceptional! Their coffee is crack... so good. You just have to try it yourself if you're a coffee person like I am. I had their A1 combination pho, 4/5. Broth was fantastic. A little bit of sriracha and hoisin sauce goes a long way. The meat was tender! Service was awesome, no complaints. Ambiance had plenty of bright lighting, pleasant music was playing, and the noise level was comfortable.

I've ordered both takeout and dined in here, and it's consistently great. The prices are reasonable and the Vietnamese food is authentic. The veggies served with the dishes are always very fresh, and they're generous with condiments and special requests like extra ginger or green onions. Service is fast, and I've had no complaints so far.

It has been reopened for some time now. Closed Wednesdays and Thursdays. Hours: 8:30am - 7pm.

    Do they still wear masks?

Yes, they still require you to come in with a mask and you can take it off when the food reaches your table.

Any updates on the restaurant and when they will be open?

I went this past weekend to take out and they said they would be reopening for limited service this past Monday (5/11). They've been open for take out only up to this point with some modified hours. Just a little shorter than normal, still open at… Read more

After reviewing the menu we decided on Lemongrass chicken with vegetables, beef with vegetables, beef vermicelli, and shrimp vermicelli. Service is always fast here. I ordered the lemongrass chicken. It is pretty spicy. The flavoring was really nice with a fish sauce in it. It was probably spicier than I wanted. Think I'll go back to my noodle order next time. The restaurant seems to charge for every little thing and the staff is slow and forgetful. Having to get up so many times just to remind them about our order is simply not acceptable. I really hope things improve, especially for long time customers who have supported this place for years Ambience The ambience was very cute and charming. The space feels inviting and has a pleasant atmosphere. Food The food was good. We ordered the catfish spring rolls and they were delicious once everything finally made it to the table. Service The service was the biggest issue and it was very disappointing, especially since my family has been coming here for 3 years. Parts of our order were missing, including several side dishes and even the sauce for the spring rolls. We asked for a cup of ice and that was missing too. We waited about 10 minutes after receiving the catfish before the vegetables were brought out and we had to keep asking for simple items. It's a shame because things taste best when the food is still hot, but the catfish was already cold once they brought out all the small dishes that came with the main dish. Because the staff was moving so slowly, we ended up walking to the counter (6 times) just to follow up on things that should have been brought to us without asking. It honestly felt like we were serving ourselves. There should be no excuse why service was so slow because there's two waitress and only one other table. The Vietnamese coffee tasted sickly sweet and burnt. After taking one sip, I asked to switch to a Thai tea, hoping it would be better, but that drink was also extremely sickenly sweet. I returned it after one sip as well. I was surprised to see that I was charged for both drinks and was told it was because I drank them, which did not feel fair at all. They even charged us for the lemon slices.

The place is very clean inside, nicely decorated, and had background music playing (I hate places that are dead silent). A nice spot for me and my girlfriend to enjoy our lunch and talk over a bowl of pho. I was intrigued by the veggie pho because they used baby corn, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and asparagus. I don't really like vegetable broth so I asked if the broth could be their beef broth which they said was ok. My girlfriend had the chicken pho like she usually does and we shared a spring roll. I have to say that I was blown away with how delicious my pho was. It had such a nice clean beef flavor that you love when enjoying pho. The vegetables worked incredibly, but I' sure any of their beef options are stellar (I just wanted veggies). No doubt one of the more memorable broths that's I've had in a long time! My girlfriend's pho was also super flavorful and had a nice aroma as well. She ended up eating all the broth and had a bunch of leftover noodles and chicken. I would really recommend not serving the chicken diced in cubes because you can't get those nice chopsticks full of noodles and chicken. The roll we ordered was good, but probably not something I'd get again. They use filet mignon for it, but I think I would prefer to have them use a less expensive cut and give me 2X the meat. Finally our server Enrique was cool and very attentive and let us know about their Sunday pho special which was great. This place might not be as traditional as the other places where you see the entire family working and have the beat up menus, but it's they definitely make pho worth checking out for yourself.

I think this version tasted the closest to the usual beef pho I remember having before being pescatarian. While I didn't love the baby corn topping, I did enjoy the asparagus and overall I would come back for the vegan broth! Price and portions in the pho also were fair. I got the small size and it was more than enough. The service was also very efficient and helpful. I asked for chili oil and someone (I think the owner) also gave me their special chili crunch they make! Unless you're a big fan of spring rolls, I'd say the only thing I'd skip next time is the spring roll. While it was fresh and tasted good, it wasn't anything different than what I've had in the past for cheaper prices. Overall though I really enjoyed my time there and I would definitely come back for the pho!

But somehow I had saved this one to my map so I came here with a couple friends for dinner last week. I wasn't super hungry, so I just ordered spring rolls, crispy chicken dumplings and a "dragon egg" boba tea "smoothie." Though it was on their menu under "Smoothies" it was not a smoothie at all. It was an icee. That said, it was still delicious and I loved the fresh and fruity boba balls. The flavor was more lychee than strawberry, but I didn't mind. My friends got an appetizer plate and 5-spice chicken. Both enjoyed their food very much. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but does have sit-down service. Very chill vibes, and prices were fair. The place was clean, staff was attentive, and the peanut sauce that came with my spring rolls wasn't spicy, which I appreciated! I wanted to just chill and take my time to eat, but the server never came back again for me to order another drink so I decided I should just get out then since they didn't want me there long it seemed let's start off with the food review tho my spring rolls tasted off like there was something a bit funky with them, as well as how to frozen texture on the inside and I was given the smallest amount of fish sauce I've ever seen every other place. I've been to is a huge amount or like a generous amount of that sauce dividend but I got like barely anything so I was like trying to scoop it at the end, but yeah, definitely funky tasting rolls. The pho itself consisted mostly of noodles and a decent amount of meat at least but with the combination, I felt like the tendon they just gave the biggest chunks possible, which were extremely hard to try to bite through unusual for me to come across I love tripe and tendon the most in the combos, the regular size is generously sized tho no need to pay extra for a larger size unless you're really hungry the flavor of the broth tasted good nothing special but it was a alright meal prob won't come back but I don't think it was entirely a waste of time

Protein fillings were not skimpy at all- the grilled pork was not overly salty, the pate was a nice thin creamy flavorful layer, and the fried egg was perfect and fluffy to top. An employee quickly cleared the table without hesitation, wiping it down and giving us a pleasant greeting. He was also clearing plates through the small space. It looked like there was just one person working the counter and he was also helping to cook. Everything was cooked to order. We ordered a BBQ pork banh mi, spring rolls, and a pork eggroll noodle bowl (which is my newest obsession). The vegetables on the sandwich were fresh and flavorful; we had some inconsistent knife cuts on the pork resulting in "a big 'ole hunk of meat" on one side of the sandwich, but no big deal. A few issues for me, which may not be a deterrent to you: The rice noodles were overcooked to my taste and my noodle bowl was missing the crunch of bean sprouts! Those same mushy noodles were in the spring rolls. We both didn't care for the addition of bacon in the spring roll and the peanut sauce was the consistency of peanut butter, but we mixed it with siracha and made our own little spicy sauce. All in all a friendly, clean, and inviting place!
