I've been here multiple times and the guys do a great job but I think it's the lady who is the problem. She tried to overcharge me because my car was too dirty but honestly I've taken it worse before. I called twice to ask what was included in their deep cleaning services and she said I had to bring it in to ask the guys which doesn't make sense since the guys always claim she's the owner. Super hard to find but worth it! Best detail for the money anywhere. I have a 4 year old so my car is regularly thrashed! That being said, I have no problem paying a little more than their posted price seeing as how gross my car is when they start and how beautiful it is when they're finished. This place is great. I found it on yelp and my car had not been hand washed since I got a few years ago. They did an amazing job and were very detailed. I thought they might half ass it because my car needed a lot of love, but they spent a lot of time and even had 3 people cleaning it at once. It looks and smells brand new. Definitely gonna try out other places. Exterior: still had some stuff stuck on it, which I wasn't expecting cause they have a pressure washer. Plus they hit my drivers side door with something, probably the pressure washer, now there's a small dent. Interior: went crazy with the Amoural and still missed spots on the dash and not enough time with the vaccum. Considering how dirty my car was, they did an ok job I guess. I'm extremely detail oriented so my opinion might not apply to eveyone. I paid the $25 plus a $5 tip before I got a chance to really look at the car. What a quaint little set up this gem has! Hand car wash - perfect for cars lowered like mine and paying attention to every little detail. They are inexpensive and take their time. The waiting area is welcoming complete with tv showing college basketball on ESPN. I came on a Saturday around 1030, and there was hardly any wait (surprisingly). This place is CASH ONLY. I think most hand car washes are now, so I came prepared. Anyway, I checked this place out based on Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. It is very difficult to find and I did wait in my car for a while (more than 5 minutes, less than 10) before someone indicated to me that I should pull up into the washing area. Once I pulled up, I unloaded my boys into the shaded waiting area, where they have tables & chairs, couches, a TV, and the option to buy cold beverages. I bought the #3 wash for $20 which includes a rim degreasing and a dashboard cleaning in addition to the usual wash & vacuum. Overall I am very pleased with the quality of work they did and I will definitely be going back. read more

Went here a few times a number of years ago before I went gung-ho on doing my own car. They did a great job and the folks were lovely. Now just broke my hip, car has 3 weeks of San Diego City dirt all over it. Doesn't need anything but a good wash. For $15 handwash? Place can't be beat. I used to love this place, but my recent experience really let me down. I got the basic car wash and vacuum which I usually get, and even before the cleaning took about 30-45 minutes including the line wait, but this time I was there 1.5 hours including the wait. I didn't want to spend that much time at a car wash, but they did a great job before and the price was reasonable so I stayed. Unfortunately when I got my car, I realized there were a bunch of scratches on my dashboard and exterior. I do have a red car so you can't see the scratches unless you're really close, but my car was ruined. Not coming back here anymore which is really unfortunate. read more

A little hard to find (look for the Huy's Auto Repair sign) - but totally worth it! Smaller operation, but these guys wash your car with the loving care that you would use if only you had the time/energy/inclination to do it yourself. Came on a Saturday and only 2 cars ahead of me. This place is the worst place to go to. I got the 40 package . I let them know that my car is really dirty due to my kids. The guys was working on my car for 10 minutes and the fat lady came up to me and said we can't charge u for 40. Cuz ur car is too dirty . I was like I pick the 40 dollars package . Just do the 40 dollars package . She then say no it's to dirty. I was like fat bitch of course is going to be dirty that why I bring it here . I didn't want to argue with her. I don't know how this place has such high ratings. I pulled up and waited almost 20 minutes before​ anybody even greeted me or acknowledged me. Finally someone came to talk to me and asked me what I wanted. They didn't tell me it was Cash Only until I saw the sign. They sent me across the street to a store for their ATM and when i went it was closed. I came back and said I needed my keys to get cash, and explained that the store was closed. When these guys were finished, my Scion shone like a mirror after a nice wash and wax here. I will definitely go back. It was fast service and well done. I noticed some people on this review complaining about "spots." Well, I was given the opportunity to inspect the vehicle before driving off, which meant that if I saw water spots I could kindly point them out and they would be wiped. Water is funny that way... It is globular and then gravity causes it to loosen from a crevice unexpectedly and that's out of anyone's control lol! Point is, I left happy. This little place is SPOT on. ;) read more

I've been here twice so far and both times I've driven off pleased with the quality of work. Though the place is hidden and very bare bones, the service is solid. The first time I came I got the deluxe wash, which was a miracle for my rims. The second time I came I opted for the full wash since my rims weren't as dirty. My car ended up shiny and very clean, and it all took about 25 minutes from the moment I arrived to the moment I left (much better than wait times at other places). The team is very attentive, cleaning the outside, vacuuming the inside, wiping down the dashboard, offering an air freshener etc. However I don't know if I'd ever get any real detailing work done here such as a wax or clay bar. It's also cash only which is a bummer. All in all I definitely recommend Da Wash for a great hand car wash. read more
