My car was dirty and I checked for the closest location available to me. Saw that this place was the closest and I wanted to check it out. It was hard to find since it was kept behind some auto shop. Looks pretty sketchy and I wasn't sure if i was at the right place. I pulled up got out of my car and told one of the dude that was there that I just wanted a regular wash. I guess he didn't understand me and I was a bit confused as well. Until this lady from the counter stood up and came to me. She took a look at the car and told me that it was going to be $30 to clean the entire car. I thought the banner with the prices was supposed to be how much you charged. She just gave me a quote at a car wash just be looking at it. Honestly, it was a sketchy area and I just told her I'm taking my business elsewhere. This was my go-to whenever I needed a good thorough wash. Up until today. I was so disappointed. I asked for the $20 wash but she insisted on adding an additional $10 because of "dog hair" for the imaginary dog I do not have! How is this so?! I was so dumbfounded because 1) I am a cat person & 2)there are no signs warning customers of an up charge. Seems like they're infamous for the "dog hair" scam. I am a huge supporter of mom & pop type businesses and have been supporting this place for years. It's very unfortunate they would do this to loyal customers. Don't see myself returning. read more

Please read before making the choice to have them do anything to your vehicle.The place is pretty ghetto. Like another post said I almost wanted to just drive thru but didn't want to judge the place base on looks and trusted my fellow yelpers. You pull up under some make shift covering into some puddles because of no drains for the water to go. I went with the number two package since I just had a full detail a few weeks ago. 15 bucks no tax or receipt either, did I mention this place is shady? P.S. I suggest vacuuming the vehicle first in a dry area instead of dragging your electrical cord through the water so you don't risk the chance of getting shocked. I already feel like I am doing to much by leaving this lengthy review but a vehicle is the second most expensive thing you will buy besides a home or a wife if you count them or in my case a husband. I suggest taking your vehicle to some place reputable for previous mentioned reason. So my vehicle did not come out clean like I would have liked or done myself. Bug and other remains were still on my car, they did no properly dry the vehicle and now I have water spots from not completely drying my car, the air fresher (cherry) made me gag and cough it stinks so bad, dash gauges still dirty, and dirty streaks from the water mixing with the dirt that they did not get from my hatch jams. No lights (because you are under the tarp) so it is hard to inspect to make sure they got everything but when I drove away and parked in the sun I could see everything. Not worth taking it back because I will not be coming back ever again. I am going to pay double and try another place that has good reviews here on yelp. You get what you pay for. Suggestion if you want to drive into the light and inspect the vehicle before driving away so you if you want you can just back up or have them come out and do any touch-ups that they missed. Best $20 I spent all month. Crisp, clean and quick, I got mine detailed up nicely. Chilled on the couches (a little janky but it's a couch so...) and listened to the radio. I would like to say I can recommend this place but the inconsistencies I have had while trying to go there have made me upset enough to write a review suggesting you may want to find another place. The place is basic, hard to find, hole in the wall. I have gone here over a handful of times due to convenience of being close to where I live. The have 3 or so washes to choose from, $20 or $30 cash only. The first time I went in they upcharged me $5 for my old car (Honda CRV), but after that they never upcharged me again. My current car (Honda HRV) I have also taken in a couple times, and they have never upcharged me. Today, I went in after work, and asked for the $30 car wash. The lady working told me that it would be a $10 upcharge for my car, when I told her I have been here before and never been upcharged (and unspokenly was already choosing the more expensive car wash that didn't really seem to add that much to the wash) she shrugged it off. The apathy towards customer service, the attempts to upcharge for my small car and the actual job they do leaves me highly recommending you go elsewhere. read more

I bought the deluxe for $20 and they are amazing. This will be the only place I take my car, best car wash for the price!!! Be aware if you have a bigger car or truck, or really dirty it will cost more! But that's kinda fair isn't it? Every one had a smile on their face and was really nice. It's all out doors but there's a couple canopy's for shade and some chairs and a couch to sit, wait, and watch them wash your car. This is my first visit and I have to say this place is in da hood. I mean it is next to a wienerschnitzel. It is a bit hard to find, but look for"huy's auto service" sign. It's in the back by the alley. As you can tell, you shouldn't expect much from this place in terms of ambience. It's basically a tarp cover between two building where you have up to 5 people washing your car at a given time. But damn, do they do a good job! I'm pretty meticulous when I wash my car but I was feeling lazy and took it here. With the cheap prices, good reviews, and being so close to home I gave it a shot. I got the $20 deluxe wash and it was totally worth it. They even took an air compressor and blew out the water between the nooks and crannies so you don't get that annoying drip of water when you start driving. I'll be back. read more

CASH ONLY. This place is FANTASTIC. They do an excellent job washing and detailing your car for very reasonable prices. Extra charge for extra large cars of course. For $20 my car was 100% hand washed, dried, vacuumed, cleaned inside, dashboard, windows, tire dressing, degreasing, air freshened...the works! I will definitely be returning here :) Plus it is always good to find a small local business instead of a chain. Took my car for a wash. I got the #3 deluxe wash. A clean wash,although the drying wasn't that great. Lots of missed spots.. I asked for them to wipe down two spots on my seats and they asked for $30!!! For two freaking spots?? She said 15 dollars each.. I said it's ok I'll do it my self. Once they finished I asked for a wet towel so I can wipe them off my seat.. it would have literally taken 3 wipes on each seat. It was some dried up water spots from bottles and a barely noticeable chocolate stain which I already cleared up and they didn't even notice untill I pointed out. Well, they couldn't even give me one towel for literally 30 seconds. "You can't use our stuff. It's our policy".. I asked for a towel and not your washing machine or even a vacuum.. Seriously tho? 30 dollars to wipe two seats and you couldn't even give me one $1 towel for 30 seconds after I paid 20 and even left a $5 tip before I asked for a towel?? Decided to try this place out since it had great reviews and it was worth it. I got the express car wash, number 3. They literally hand wash your car. There is no machine that the car goes through, they wash it with their own two hands! I really appreciate that they really do take their time to make sure your car is super clean. I also liked that they used an air pressure machine to get rid of any water that is left behind in small crevices such as the trunk and outside mirrors. They also wiped the inside edges of the trunk and doors. My car is white so it can get really dirty and obvious. The only slight downfall is that it is cash only. Also, there are only a handful of people washing cars so you might have to wait a little longer than a typical car wash place (but worth it). Also, you might miss it the first time driving by (I did lol). It's deep inside a car auto repair place. They have a small sign outside the sidewalk. I will be coming back. read more

Previous reviews are spot on, this location is a little bit hidden but there is a sign on the road that tells you when (and where) to turn. This is a no-frills car wash, but they do an excellent job washing your car. Service is fast, prices are reasonable, and they take good care of you. I will absolutely be coming back. read more

This place is amazing I was looking around for a place that did good hand car wash, after I've been turned away from so many car wash places because my car is too low and as soon as I pulled in the lady help me with the pricing asked me what I needed and explain to me that they would clean my car very well. Like most places always say they clean the cars good but this place was not joking when they said they would. My car is a cement grey color so it's very hard for her to look shiny but I'm pretty sure the soap they use is good quality brand because it made my car shine like I just got it out of the dealer. Very fast and superior job for such a low cost. I read prior reviews so I timed how long it was from when I pulled up to when they took my keys. It was 2 minutes and 7 seconds, so I can accurately say that they are quick. Very nice people and top quality job. For perspective, my car was really dirty including where a plant spilled in the back seat. They did more of a detail style job than merely "deluxe" (which is what I paid for) and tolerated my self-arming alarm with humor rather than annoyance. Excellent customer service! I would not recommend this business to anyone. Very poor workmanship and even worse customer service. I've gone there 3 times and every time the price goes up. I have a nice work truck with a powder coated lumber rack. I payed $40 the last time for them to wash my rack, truck and inside. When they told me they were finished there was still dirt and bugs on the rack and bumper also spots they missed on the cab and bed. On the inside there were spots on my stereo/nav screen. I asked for a damp cloth to wipe it off. He told me the spots were already there when I brought it in and they wouldn't wipe off. He gave me a damp cloth and I wiped it clean my self along with a couple other spots/runs of whatever chemicals they use that were still visible on the dashboard. When I opened my door I noticed runs of white cleaner all over my door panels (both doors) and soap in the crevices. By then the lady that looks like Jabba the Hutt with lipstick on came over and told me I didn't pay for a detail and not to come back. Trust me I will not be giving these people any more of my money. I have no problem paying whatever the price. However I expect a decent job. read more

They did a terrific job on my Honda Accord- it hasn't looked so good since the day I bought it, both inside and out. The lady with the vacuum was very friendly but she really won me over when she wished me a "Happy Father's Day". It's a few miles away but I'll go back. By the way, the signs saying "Da Wash" are tiny and easy to miss. Look for the address or the name "Huy Auto Service". I'm always weary of cash only businesses. Something feels dishonest about them. This is a prime case in point. I found this business on yelp and decided to try it out. I asked the older woman who runs the place about the wax special listed at $60 with a listed $10 increase for bigger vehicles. My truck is in immaculate condition so I assumed that the price would be as it indicates on the board; around $70. She told me that it would cost $120 and when I asked for her to explain she went on the defense and showed no discipline in customer service. I decided to leave and not give them any business.
