A fun birthday dinner...yes you can have receive either sushi

I went vegetarian, and any time people asked me what my favorite food was, I'm so indecisive I couldn't give them an answer. So I would say, 'Oh, I love avocados.' And people would say, 'But that's not a meal.' Well, I love sushi and I love avocados, and now it's my go-to -- Jenna Ortega Sushi is always a go to, Wednesday has it right :-) I thought I wrote a review for Dada but I guess it was deleted or I forgot to write it. Anyway, this is the go to place in the Temecula Valley for sushi. Specialty is Blue Fin Tuna, the Chutoro tonight was to die for. I also love their seared hamachi and spicy tuna with crispy rice. The rolls are fabulous including the Ono Lovers Roll and Ocean Lobster Roll. I wish they had a Wagyu Beef roll but beggars can't be choosers ;-) Bento Boxes are great, love their seared love the miso soup. Sitting at bar is fun, sushi chefs are top notch and will give you the off menu stuff. A great neighborhood sushi joint! Corkage is $15 and they have my favorite sale by the bottle: Kikushui. Highly recommended!

Atmosphere 5/5 I love the atmosphere here. Its such a vibe and a perfect place to go on a date. Service 5/5 The ladies who served us (Probably the owner) was super nice and super assertive. She always came to check up on me and my date. Excellent service. Food 3/5 The food was whatevers honestly. The mussels and the stuffed jalapeños were really good. The roll and this cooked rice dish we got was whatever's. We paid close to $80 to not be great. Maybe we chose the wrong sushi rolls. Next time im going to try something else and rate it again.

Ordered from Uber Eats on 11/1/25. Food arrived pretty quickly with plenty of side sauces, ginger and wasabi. We got the Mama Fe, Yuzu Salmon, Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna, and Sunday morning rolls. We liked the Sunday morning roll the most. The tuna, salmon, albacore, avocado and asparagus combo was pretty unique and so were the toppings (Spicy Mayo, Eel Sauce, Special Baked Sauce). Would definitely order this one again! The Mama Fe roll was our least favorite. The seaweed salad on top mixed with the albacore and gobo made for an odd flavor and texture combo overall.

One of the best Sushi Restaurants in Murrieta. What makes Dada Sushi stand out from the rest is the quality of their fish, their presentation, and excellent service. If you haven't tried Dada Sushi, definitely give them a shot. This is our regular spot and we've never been disappointed. I highly recommend trying out their Nigiri or Sashimi, definitely the fatty fish.

Really really good place to get sushi. Restaurant felt intimate, especially since we sat at the bar. Service was hospitable and punctual. The sushi chef was exceptionally hospitable, he was open to questions and even walked us through the Omakase we ordered. Rainy day it's been a while since wrote a review. Yummy food need to write one. Place very nice great service. The Trio Belly Carpaccio our favorite. Followed by Imperial Roll. Chicken Karaage, Dragon Roll, Yuzu Salmon Roll

Ordered the chicken karaage, dragon roll and yuzu salmon roll with some waters. The karaage was probably the least traditional I've ever seen, more akin to popcorn chicken you'd see at a boba shop than the crispy breaded karaage I've seen elsewhere where. Not particularly juicy or flavorful. The sauce it came with was not much of an addition either. The rolls were fine. The dragon was just chock full of avocado, almost too much. The eel was ok. The yuzu salmon roll's tempura salmon was pretty dry. The service was good.

A hidden gem tucked away in Murietta!! The hostess/waitress was so kind and attentive and the man working the sushi bar had such a lovely energy. The food was fantastic and the sake was divine. Trying the Soju kettle as we speak ^.^

Definitely on the pricey side (lunch for two was ~$86 with tax and tip, not drinks), but the food was excellent -- so fresh and delicious-- and the service was too. We sat outside on the patio, which was very basic but lovely. This is seemingly the only sushi place around with actual outdoor seating. read more

Reminds me of a hole in the wall restaurant. This was the only sushi spot opened late at night, service and ambiance was nice. Sushi was okay, soup was good. I think that their rolls are pretty good but their halibut is not the freshest I have ever had. Last time I got the sashimi set and all the fish were fresh except shrimp. The shrimp tasted like soap for some reason It wasn't just me I had another person tried it and she said the same thing. I wouldn't recommend getting cooked shrimp here. Other than that I would recommend the rolls here. read more

Solid sushi joint. Truthfully I find that Temecula doesn't have a lot to offer in terms of food. I acknowledge I probably haven't ventured out enough in the area but from what I've seen and experienced they've been just okay to meh. So you can imagine my surprise and shock to find a sushi restaurant that serves legitimate fish. I'm talking high quality and fresh fish. I loved that the chefs Steve, John and Matt all noticed that my fiancé, brother and I were all not around the area and noticed that we had some decent sushi eating experience. They were also pleasant to talk to. They do have rolls that usually cater to a lot of people but they have a specials menu that will really make your tongue happy, especially if you're more traditional in your nigiri sushi eating experience. I have found a go to spot the next time I'm in Temecula. read more

This place is pretty incredible, we came here after failing to find a place with nice outside seating because of our dog so we finally made our way here. The sushi is amazing, the spicy korean chicken and bowls are all top notch! Service is great too, overall I would really recommend this place (they're prices are pretty fair). read more

This is the probably one of the best sushi restaurants in Murrieta/Temecula area. Tried their 27 piece sashimi, tempura udon, and a couple of different rolls last night. Everything was superb! The quality & freshness of tuna is superb. Toro just melts in your mouth! (drools) I highly recommend Dada if you are a sushi lover! read more

Took my Mom out for lunch on a Saturday. Great place with competitive prices! The inside was nicely decorated and Windows covered to keep the temperature low (much appreciated). Service was A+ !! Let's get a few things out of the way.... Service.... Was absolutely excellent. Server was very polite and friendly. Food came as fast as you'd want it to. Atmosphere.... We sat outdoors and it was nice and plenty of shade that it was very pleasant even for a 95 degree day. I didn't see the inside so I can't speak to that. Good.... This is only the second sushi restaurant we've gone to since moving here from LA. I know there are many people like us that just moved to Temecula from places line LA, the Bay Area, and other places that have a great food scene. Hopefully you've already come to realize that we have limited options here in Temecula. So with that said, for the area, this is definitely pretty good and a million times better than the other spot we tried that had good reviews. The salmon, yellowtail, escolar sashimi we ordered were fresh and serving size was great. I also thought everything was fairly priced. We also ordered a few rolls and that's probably where you'd see the difference in creativity and quality compared to LA and similar areas but it was still pretty decent. We will continue to explore and look for other sushi restaurants, but if we need a sure thing, we will definitely be back again. read more

Very unique sushi place that serves typical create your own bento boxes, and serves ramen. I am not too much of a fan of rolls when it comes to sushi but I do like to see the different types of sushi ideas restaurants come up with. At our family gathering we visited Rolling moon sushi and my brothers ordered some interesting rolls. Ceviche roll with had several types of fish mixed with cilantro, onion, and lime. This was very different and had a nice twist of asian-latin fusion. Another interesting item that was ordered was the Spicy tuna fries. This was a hodgepodge of french fries, cheese, spicy mayo, teriyaki sauce, and spicy tuna. Very interesting. I ordered the Paitan ramen which is a variation of tonkotsu ramen but less creamy. All items were tasty. I have to give it up to the chef of the night as she cooked all of the food, took the order, and served us our dinner. She even came out to greet us and asked how our meal was tasting while in the middle of serving others. BONUS: Check out their bathrooms. VERDICT: Rinse and repeat read more

First time at this restaurant. Ordered the usual stuff that we order at other Sushi Japanese Restaurants and I was quite disappointed. Service was meh and the it was overpriced. The cucumber salad wasn't traditional Japanese. It tasted like a mustard base sauce. The calamari was over cooked and tasted bland. The shrimp tempura roll was ordered with no avocado instead it was shrimp and crab only. No veggies like cucumber and when I asked if the cucumber was supposed to be in it, the waitress replied yes. This place is incredible. The sushi is exceptional. My favorite was the ceviche roll; it was exploding with flavor and beautifully served with a fresh orchid flower. The fried chicken was the best I've ever had at a Japanese restaurant. The cucumber salad as crisp and refreshing. Simple exquisite. Also, Shelby provided excellent service. Over Labor Day Weekend I was able to make a reservation with my wife and two friends. This was our first time here and we were amazed by Steve's work. We had to push our reservation a hour later and they still accommodated. Being from San Diego, we really enjoy quality sushi. The Omakase was well worth it and I highly recommend it. Steve did a fantastic job and he is very experienced. Thanks again Steve and when we are in the area, now we know where to go for the best sushi in Temecula! read more

They stated that she cannot have the rice because of having gluten in it?? My mom react to the soy sauce, we have not had a problem with the sushi rice from this location. The tone that the first male server gave was giving "this is an inconvenience" so by stating the rice claim, almost to get us to leave all together. Then he says he will have all the rolls not have any sauce on top which was nice of him to offer. Then we had female waitress, Kelly, who we tried to ask a a question as she was passing. I watched her sit a table, clean a table, place a check before coming back to answer our question. (All I understand) until she walks by our table and pretends not to look at us. So I have to stop her again because one of the roles had a sauce on top. So I asked her if the sauce had gluten in it. Again. (2nd time I asked this question from her passing by twice) she acted as if this was a new question, and was trying to walk away. She assured the sauce does have gluten. So I told her that we already explained to the male sever that we cannot have gluten in the sauces. We kept that roll for the gluten people and order another roll for my mom to eat. She then asks us for another round of tea and brings us a teapot of just hot water.... Overall, I cannot stand when servers make you feel like an inconvenience. The Hana sushi staff by chaparral on Winchester is MUCH FRIENDLIER we are regulars to both locations. After this encounter, we all agreed we will make it a point to only go to the Winchester location as they are very kind and attentive to my mother's allergies.

I checked a second time and explained that I felt like my order may have been missed. The gentleman who helped me was much kinder than the first person I spoke with and was apologetic, which I appreciated. Finally, another employee, who I believe was the owner's husband, asked to see my receipt and discovered that my order had been misplaced. I received my cinnamon rolls around 8:30 AM. While I understand that popular items can take time, it was frustrating to find out that my order had actually been misplaced after I had already asked about it twice. Mistakes happen, and I appreciate the owner's husband for being honest about what happened and the gentleman for taking the time to help. I love supporting local businesses and hope this doesn't happen to another customer.

All contains liquids. They put the papaya in a big closable container with a lid. Smart; you'd think everyone would do that. You'd be surprised who just dumps papaya in a styrofoam container! Anyway the squid and beef salads came separately from their salads. They made sure to pack the dry salads in a takeout box and put the mixed proteins in their marinades in another soup containers which was perfect and made it so easy to add on top when ready. I really love that idea! Not only that but the food was good. I really enjoyed the squid salad it had a nice sour balance. The papaya salad I requested Lao style to be the spiciest level 10 but it actually wasn't too spicy. Other restaurants definitely need to take notes because I really just had a bad experience with another Thai restaurant being so careless and my papaya salad sauce spilling not only in the bag but dripped all over my floors. You guys have a repeat customer in the area!

I would rate this place higher if it did not take 45 mins to get two rolls. My husband and I went here because of yelp and because of my neighbor's recommendation. She said i should order the ceviche roll. that's what i ordered and it was good. I don't understand why they call it ceviche though, it has no shrimp. also, it was just a california roll with the mixture of the "ceviche" so i don't know why it took so long to come out. My husband ordered their popcorn lobster roll which was better than the ceviche. but that too was a calfornia roll with the things on top Maybe I came at a bad time because everyone around me wasn't getting their food on time either. Definitely a great place to go and eat sushi! Its a great place with great service (although it can get slow at times) and great sushi! My favorite thing on the menu is the avocado rolls because personally I love avocados. I've tried a few other items that were amazing too! I love sushi so much! All kinds (except octopus, it's too tough). My favorite types of rolls are the ones that have been baked, fried, or otherwise warmed up in some way. For example, the baked Lobster Roll is absolutely to die for. The only drawback? Service can be a little slow at times, so go on off peak hours. read more

I love this place!! Awesome friendly service and the food was so delicious!! I came here for my birthday dinner. I had a great time with my friends. I ordered some sushi, oysters, albacore salad and sashimi plate. Chef special Sashimi plate was the best!! I would definitely come here again :D read more

Love the sushi! Really good prices too. They always are friendly and remember who I am every time I go in. They have an outside patio that is lit up at night with hanging lights and it's really nice! Super good food and customer service. I recommend to all my friends and family. read more

There food is fast, good and cheap. Not the best sushi ever, but for the price its good. My only complaint is that I saw the owner shopping for fish and COSTCO. I'm not sure if he uses it at the store but but if I found out he did that's terrible. read more

If you want a good sushi, go to Dada Sushi. Every sushi is really fresh and tastes great. The ceviche roll is delicious. Ill bring my friends here the next time we meet. The place looks really great too! read more
