Walked in 2 weeks ago on a Friday night. It was busy but tables were still open. We waited around but no one helped us. About 6-7 mins after waitresses passed us without acknowledging us one asked if we were there for pick up which i replied no to. Then she said pick a seat which we did. After sitting we waited at the table for over 15 mins with no drink order or acknowledgement from a server. 2 tables next to us that came in after us were given there drinks before anyone acknowledged us. My wife and I got up and left and literally drove a mile to Hana Sushi and was immediately sat. They were busy as well but just the fact they acknowledged us made it a much better experience. It was just frustrating. We will not be returning. The food is decent but service is not what I should be. Therefore we will take our business elsewhere. read more

Late review but I came here on Sunday morning last week for the first time and it was better than I expected and also not too busy. The food was pretty good and the atmosphere is nice, as well as the service. Our waitress Bri was very attentive and fast and she guided us through the menu which is online. She even recommended a couple things for us, like the spicy garlic edaname. The prices are pretty steep here but not as high as Hana sushi. Each roll is around 20 dollars. My wife and I both got one roll each and two appetizers and our bill was about 90 bucks. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because there were two waitresses but only our waitress was helping customers and cleaning all the tables. When I asked her how the tipping works she said they split tips which I think is not very fair. I wanted to give cash directly but she said she would get in trouble which I think is unbelievable! My daughter is also a waitress and I'd be upset if she was working so hard just to split with others who aren't putting the same effort. Other than that everything was great and we will be back. P.S. the men's restroom really needs a deep clean. read more

I absolutely love this restaurant. The food and service are above and beyond. Staff is so friendly, and I love the fact that they are Japanese. I love how they had pictures of famous Japanese people and sprinkles of Japanese art throughout the restaurant, even including Hello Kitty for the children. They took me back to Japan with their quality of fish, authenticity of my meal, and great service. Will not go anywhere else for Japanese food. Best meal I've had since Japan. read more

The ambiance is fair, some seats have tears. For the cost of the food, the furniture could use some repair. The service was the best part and the only reason I'm giving a singular star for our waitress. I would love to comment on the food, however after waiting nearly 40minutes with nothing served to us, it's hard to leave a food review. Came in it's a big place with plenty of seating inside and out. There was a few diners but it wasnt busy. We got greeted. Party of 9. First impression the service is kinda slow. We waiting about 5 minutes to get seated and there was no one ahead of us. There seemed to only be one server. We got seated and got the menu, it's like any other sushi place they have alot of rolls to choose from. They have happy hour on weekdays til 4pm excluding holidays. We ordered a specialty roll dragon and gyoza. We checked in to get a free small sapporo with a specialty roll. One checkin per table to get the special. We also asked of fresh wasabi which was an extra charge of $2. The food was good the sushi tasted fresh and gyoza came out hot. The restroom was full of beautiful art mostly hello kitty it was definitely a site for sore eyes. Overal our server was very nice and the food was very good however the service was a bit slow. Just a small dollop of fresh wasabi was all it needed to blow your mind. If you want a cheap "BOGO" sushi bar, this is not your spot. Today is Tuesday 5/2. I'm sad that I have to update my review. Husband and I have been to this sushi spot several times and this is the first time we have received absolutely poor service. Our server, didn't get her name but she had purple hair, took our drink order and completely forgot about us. We waited 10 mins and within that 10 mins we observed our server chit chatting with another server, disappeared for a while and than came back and decided to clean up tables instead of taking our food order. Still haven't received our drinks. I had to get her attention across the restaurant and said that we were ready to order. She took our order and than said "did I take your drink order?" In my head I was are you kidding me?! I said yes you did. And she asked what it was again and I told her our drinks again. Some more time goes by and we still hadn't received our drinks and our server was just standing at the counter. Husband and I decided to leave. The sushi here is normally great but the service today was appalling. I would understand if they were really busy but they weren't and we were just completely ignored. Unacceptable. Again the sushi here is good but with that kind of service, we will not be returning. read more

I'm really at a lost with all these five star reviews. Once again, Dada sushi has given my family and I another reminder of how the Inland Empire severely LACKS authentic sushi restaurants. After moving from OC over 3 years ago, it has been nothing but pure disappointment when it comes to good sushi restaurants in this area. Apparently, most of the people around here seemed to be clueless on how real authentic sushi should taste. Every nigiri sushi that we tried was below average, and I couldn't believe how anyone would consider this place a good choice for sushi. In addition to the subpar sushi, they tried to overcharge my bill by an additional $6.00 for spider rolls, because I requested that I did not want any mixed imitation crabmeat inside. How the heck are they going to charge more when I asked for less ingredients??? Plus, their spider rolls were some of the worst I've ever had, it was mostly panko breading. I'm glad I was able to catch the unnecessary up charge on the spider rolls, but now I have to question their integrity. Overall, I would never revisit for over priced below average sushi with questionable business practices. read more

It was a little more expensive than your typical temecula valley sushi spot but for the quality it was a fair value. I met a Not-a-Date here (read: it's NOT a date if I pay for us), and maybe because he raved about it and I was unenthused of him overall, that I did not really like this place. Don't ask why I paid. I don't even want to remember. The place wasn't busy at dinner (warning sign #1), and it had a strong fishy smell upon entering (warning sign #2). Not to mention, most of the fish was wrapped in plastic (3). That said, the eel wasn't fresh. I had a difficult time finishing that roll. Most everything else tasted ok, though my salad was too overdressed for me to really inspect the fish. Service was super friendly! I'll give them that. The women's restroom was utterly obnoxious- how many Hello Kitty stickers and decals does a room need? This one has so many it was annoying (or maybe I was already annoyed by that time haha). I found this place on Yelp while looking for a place for dinner on my way back to San Diego. We were seated promptly and service was quick and efficient. We tried the Arigato roll, the Baked Roll with Salmon, and the Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice. We also ordered a Chicken Yakisoba to go. The sushi was fresh and yummy. The crispy rice was definitely crispy-bordering on overdone. The reason for the 4 stars was my glass of Merlot was not good. And it's a bit pricey, but so is sushi in general. I stumbled upon this sushi joint on Yelp and decided to give it a try for lunch with my daughter. We each ordered a glass of wine, Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio. We ordered a bunch of stuff, spicy edamame, gyozas, the Philadelphia roll, spider roll, and an order of shrimp tempura. The server brought the glasses of wine immediately, however, the glass of Pinot Grigio was a smaller pour than the Chardonnay. The gyozas were hands down, the best I have ever had. They were crispy, served with a dipping sauce, that had just a hint citrus. Unfortunately, the server brought us a shrimp tempura roll instead of the appetizer. We kept the shrimp roll which was tasty, but I would have preferred the appetizer. The Philadelphia roll and spider roll were good. My daughter asked for a second glass of Pinot Grigio, and the server brought us two glasses instead of just one. Since I was drinking Chardonnay, I rejected it. Again, my daughter noticed that it was a short pour. I'm not sure if they measure the pour to be exactly 8oz, but it seems to be stingy. My overall impression; the servers seemed inexperienced, the seafood was fresh, and the place was clean. They also offer outdoor dining with overhead trees and twinkling lights. The food was good. The waitress was very sweet. Four stars because although I mentioned when I ordered that I had a food allergy to shellfish. She told the guy making it (I heard her). When he served it first, it had a giant shrimp in it. I had to send it back. He removed the shrimp and sent back the same plate, I apologized and said it needed to be remade because it touched everything on the plate. He was clearly irritated. The waitress brought me a complimentary miso soup. I happened to be eating alone tonight so I'm glad I noticed it before taking a bite. I'm deathly allergic. I do enjoy the ambiance in here. Was in town and my brother was craving sushi. We found this spot and it didn't disappoint. I'd like to consider myself a guy that eats sushi pretty regularly (several times a month). Never in my life did I ever think I'd find a sushi spot that rivals ones you can find in LA. The quality of the fish they serve here is quite literally flawless. And the premium selection that they have (chutoro, sea bream, halibut, amaebi, uni) is top notch. You can really tell that this restaurant caters to both the sushi connoisseur and to the casual sushi eater. Nothing here is pretentious, everything speaks for itself, especially the quality. What an absolute delight to find this place. When I return to the area, I know the exact spot I'm going to for dinner. Steve, John, Matt, you all were an absolute pleasure to meet.
