Came here yesterday for late lunch. They open at 3 on Sundays. This was our second time there. I have to say I like this place not for its food because I think their food and menu is average. I like this place for its women's restroom...It's decked out with Hello Kitty!!! And I love Hello Kitty. Seems like the owners are Korean. The staff were speaking Korean. We ordered two specialty rolls- Red Train and Baked Scallop Roll. The Red Train was a California Roll topped with Spicy Tuna. No complaints. It was decent. The Baked Scallop Roll was to me weird. This was the first time I've ever had it garnished with a "salsa," which consisted of fresh tomatoes and raw purple onions. The server was nice and polite. I thought it was odd though at the end my bf was by the entrance looking around and she greeted my bf and asked how many. Umm...Including myself there were four customers (two tables). Like really you don't recognize one of your four customers?!? There are many sushi places in Murrieta/Temecula. This is one I wouldn't go out if my way to visit. read more

Finally our community has a Japanese Reataurant that serves sushi, ramen, yellow tail Kama, and more. The quality of the food is excellent and authentic comparable to top Japanese restaurants in OC and LA. Service is great. There is outdoor patio seating as well as indoor. I've been there 4 or 5 times now and will be dining there regularly for a long time. Highly recommend this place if you like Japanese food. read more

Best Sushi in Murrieta. We have been going here for years, even back when it was Rolling Moon. Our favorite place to go. The lead sushi chef is the same and his masterful sushi is always amazing. Went in to have lunch, and I had the tiger roll, baked lobster roll, ceviche roll, dragon roll, and some albacore sushi. Overall, the food was great. Our rolls were out very quickly. The ceviche roll was our favorite. I like ceviche with some heat, so I got some Sriracha on the side. The rolls were a generous size, full of fish and fresh ingredients. My only complaint is with the attentiveness of our server. There was a point where we were the only patrons in the place and I still couldn't get my cup refilled. read more

I'm not sure why we've never been here, but there's a first time for everything! It was late for dinner and DADA Sushi was still jam-packed. Most of the patrons seemed to be regulars, as they were speaking to staff if they had been eating there for years. The quality was A1! Service was a tiny bit slow, maybe a newer server, not sure, but our beers came out quick and were super cold. Everything we ordered was delicious! Not to mention the price point was excellent, especially compared to the other place down the road that starts with an H and ends with an A that is not very good and super expensive. We get take out from Dada's once or twice a month. They are great on nights when it is too hectic or late to cook. What we have ordered has always been excellent. We usually get the salmon or chicken teriyaki, shrimp or mixed tempura, and California roll in the dinners. Their teriyaki sauce is so good I don't buy it from the grocery stores anymore. They should honestly package it for resell. The restaurant is a gem, hidden in the Californian Oaks Shopping Center off the corner of Jackson and Cal Oaks. They have outside dining with lantern lights and inside has the feel of a great neighborhood restaurant that you go to with friends for a fun night out. The staff has always been warm and friendly, polite, efficient and happy (that means a lot to us). It is our favorite restaurant and we are so glad it survived the Covid Crisis! read more

Went to this sushi place with my boyfriend because he was craving for some sushi. Of course we got our favorite roll which is a Philly roll and I can tell you I was not disappointed. I don't really like cucumber in my rolls and for some reason this exact roll didn't have any i and was super happy! They had a good amount of cream cheese and a good amount of salmon! Also we showed that they had an offer going on, on yelp stating that you get a free beer if you get a signature roll, when I showed them my screen the workers were really excited and full of joy! I can really tell that they enjoy what they do which was a plus for me! We ended up getting the baked lobster for a signature roll and my boyfriend in his own words said "babe this is so Fcking good. He never has said this to and roll in most of the sushi places we've been to. They're deals are amazing you guys should really check out the place. The workers are the best part of just being there! Update: Just wanted to make this review about Alex, he's one of the sushi makers at the bar area. I went there with my boyfriend and he made us feel like we were at home, this guy is awesome. I haven't been here since the pandemic and was hoping it would be as good as the last time I was here. It was BETTER! I don't live in the area but my family and I decided to stop here as a pit stop on our road trip. For one, the service was amazing. Our sweet and very attentive server Shelby was on point. I didn't get to try the food. We ordered through Yelp/grub hub but turns out they were closed due to a burst pipe earlier in the week. My 3 stars is not based on service or food but the fact that they should have contacted help/grub hub to let them know they were closed for a few days. I tried Rolling Moon because of a recommendation from a friend and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of fish and friendliness of the service. I was also delighted that this was NOT a "all you can eat" sushi joint. First, the fish. I had the sashimi platter and all the fish was fresh and I was treated to Blue Fin Tuna and Toro (see photo). Rolling Moon also has a eclectic and extensive selection of fine Sake and the Owner is an expert on Sake - a sommelier of sake. My kids ordered a few rolls and they thoroughly enjoyed all of them. the soft-shell crab and the calamari was also excellent. This is one of the few fine sushi restaurants in the Temecula-Murrieta region. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and plan to return this week. read more

Used to be rooling moon. Love to eat here before like way back 3 - 4 yrs ago. Now disappointed with their food. Wasn't tasty anymore. Plus their plastic cup seems like they didn't wash it. Very meh. We came here because of the reviews and I don't know if we came at a bad time (Sat evening) or what, but rolls that are typically flavorful at other establishments... Were so bland. The pieces were huge in circumference also, which makes for awkward eating & disintegration. I had a difficult time finishing my roll, &I'm the type of person who devours rolls lol. This was my first time having sushi in Murrieta & unfortunately won't be coming back here. I usually frequent Fire Fish & YouandI in Temecula. This place is still great, they have just become more expensive and made the portions smaller :( We used to love coming here but now we're paying $30 for 2 small rolls and are usually left hungry since the portion sizes are smaller. This was our first time visiting Rolling Moon. Their menu is giant and the have 2 Happy Hours! Yes 2! The first starts at 11:30 and covers lunch. The second starts at 3pm. They have a great menu with $1.95 sake, lots of apps and great deals on many different rolls. We enjoyed a edamame, miso soup a few hand rolls and three other rolls, couple beers and a couple sakes for under $40. Great deal, great quality and great service. We love Hana Sushi up the street but this is same quality at half price. Our new fav spot. We also checked in on Yelp and so one of the beers was free! Part 2- Stopped in again. Tried the blue fin tuna. Can't get it anywhere but here. 6.95 for two pieces but they brought 3. It was awesome. Had three or 4 rolls and a few drinks at mid-day happy hour. Awesome! Another happy hour lunch at the Moon. Tried the $3.95 fried oysters for app this time. Awesome. read more
