I like the pizza here, it's way better than the chains. But the real surprise was tonight when we ordered non pizza items. We ordered 2 gyros and added feta to them, 1 regular Greek salad. The gyros came with potato chips. We also ordered 2 apps: 1 small mozzarella cheese sticks and 1 small order of jalapeño poppers. Surprisingly, the gyros and the salad were better than we thought they'd be but I have to say the apps tasted like the frozen stuff from the store. I'd skip the apps next time. We want to try the meatball sub next time. They deliver which is awesome! read more

This is the pizza I've been searching for in Houston for the last 6 years. I'm disappointed it took this long to find Daddyo's, but I'm glad I did. As a Chicagoan, I'm used to good pizza, both deep-dish and thin crust, and Daddyo's thin crust is on point. A great neighborhood asset. read more

If you're a fan of chain pizzas this may not be for you, but if you nostalically recall what a REAL pizza, hand rolled and tossed tasted like then you will be well-satisfied. No matter how I want it (I like the veggie with extra cheese and mushrooms) they make it. Delivery is NOT fast because this is the real deal, made by hand; but it's reasonable and always friendly. The pizza is delicious. I really like that they have the sauce amount right on point not overly sauced but more importantly not undersauced. Pricing is great and they're always ready in about 15 minutes. I've ordered many times and never had any issues with my meal so that's why they get the consistency vote. I had the meat lovers pizza and I added anchovies. They bake the anchovies on top so they are crispy. They are sooooooo much better like this! The bread is very nice too. Would visit again! Yum! read more

Grew up in the neighborhood but did not really start eating here until about four years ago. They have great specials and the pizza is above average as well. Philly cheese steak pizza is awesome. Italian sausage and onion is the other way to go. I get their wings (not to greasy, they are baked, and not huge, but crispy) You get a healthy amount of dip which is great. Some of the subs are also good. Can't beat the meatball for $5.99. This is my go to spot for eating pizza around Inwood/Oak forest. I also bring my wine or beer in the store while I wait which is awesome. read more

Love this place! The pizza is great and they have the best tiramisu I've had in Houston. They also have spaghetti and served with garlic bread which is fresh and their prices are very low! I've been to various pizza places in the area (Brother's, Pink's, etc.) and this has been the best hands down! It's a small little place with amazing wall art. The lady who took my order was incredibly nice and helpful. It's freshly made pizza so the wait was a while, but not to the point where it's upsetting. I order a pepperoni pizza with pineapple and jalapeños (my favorite!) and it was amazing! It tasted so fresh and authentic. Nothing like Little Ceasars or Pizza Hut. I love this place. Pizza and calzones are super tasty and flavorful. It's handtossed with a garlic buttery blend brushed on the crust. I've been to both locations and they never disappoint. We moved to the neighborhood about a year ago and we have had great, consistent pizza here every time. We haven't strayed at all from pizza and salad though. The crust is on the thinner side... not too crispy, not too soft, just right. The cheese is almost burned but not quite burned and amazing. I always order a cesar salad and the lettuce is always fresh and green. Daddyo's is definitely a neighborhood gem! Most importantly, this place is consistent! Very delicious! Yes if you have it delivered you will have to wait an extra 20 minutes but it has always been worth it. We usually get the supreme and a pepperoni & cheese. The pasta is just alright. I had the chicken parmesan one time--not impressive. Since then I have only ordered pizza and am never disappointed with it. They aren't stingy with the cheese or any of the ingredients for that matter. A bit on the pricey side but I guess, as with most things, you get what you pay for. Worth a try if you haven't had it. This is top notch New York pizza in Houston, with the thinnest crust I've ever encountered, toppings piled high and the great olive oil taste dripping off it. If you are near 290, get off that godforsaken road project and get some really authentic NY pizza inside you. I only wish there was a Daddyo's Pizza in San Antonio, but at least I visit Houston enough that I now know where to get a good pie. read more

this place is thee best pizza in houson !! i've lived here 45 years and now that i have moved to oak forrest i stumbled onto this joint by reluctance/accident . we sort of went to pjohns but no more!! this spot is fantastic.the food is really fresh i never saw mushroom that were real i mean real. the jala[enos were real = great! all the ingredients were fresh! the nonchalant front desk gal said "we make everything fresh daily" ok i thought they all say that butttttttt thisjoint did make it fresh. i got home is was fresh sweet not to salty and the greek sakad we added as really nice as well. pls go to this joint atleat once and spare your self the pre made dough and sauce and ass ons i means add ons. the onion was fresh the matoes were fresh,. ymmmmmmmmm you will notice the fresh an non commerical bake. we have all be use to quick pizza. weell this is quick butttttf resh big difference1 i'm not asking you to patronize . but for god sakes try it drive there pick one up or two like - bc i like to freeze the other. i do no usually write these,.... however in this case i am. if you want great french food go to brenans if you want great pizza go to daddyo's make it a fun nite. drive over take your time and enjoy the menu & this review and enjoy upir great meal my only add on would be i would have like to have a draft beer while i was waiting for this culinary dish! i will be back and i may even stack a pound on me but hey,.. it is thee best in houston read more
