It was about 2:30 p.m. Apparently they discount pastas by $2 during lunch but it ends at 2 p.m. The pasta had a generous amount of marinara; however, the pasta rarely has spinach. It's like a cheesy paste with a few speckles of spinach. It doesn't taste bad but if you're looking for a true spinach ravioli, this is not it. I am so glad the delicious Italian pizza at Westheimer Square is still here. The name changed to Sipipa from Sicily Pizza & Pasta. I believe it's same owner. As their website says few restaurants have been branding themselves as Sipipa, so this is not new. Cashier was knowledgeable. I was able to order half and half. Half American and half Margherita. Fresh pizza needs to be consumed when it came out of oven. Because it's takeout, I drove home quickly to enjoy this yummy pizza. Price was competitive to other pizza joints. Medium size pizza was $13-ish. With the generous amount of meat, this is far better than most pizza joints I regularly visit. (Previous review from 4 years ago under the name of Sicily Pizza) I come here for really fresh pizza and calzone. I can't find them elsewhere, even at their sister stores. As you can see from the picture.. the whole pizza was full of jalapeños on both sides. I had to order twice because my first order wasn't delivered due to Uber eats negligence. We both ordered at eight piece wings bone in but when they arrived they were boneless wings and honestly though they messed up on their end I would probably choose the boneless wings again I got them extra wet hot. I've been going here for a little while because I got addicted to their kale & quinoa salad but today's visit will be my last. I always order online and have never had an issue until today. I came in to pick up and then the guy at the register told me that I had a balance to pay which was weird because I paid online. I looked at the bill and it said I paid $24 but my receipt says I paid $26. The guy at the register said I agreed to pay a tip in cash but I didn't/never choose that option nor had I seen it before. Surprised at all the low reviews for this place. The guy is very direct, so it can come off as brash or rude. I am the same way so I know the life. It's tough, and sometimes your reputation can suffer because of your personality. We can all be better. That aside, I'm here to review the product and it is a quality unlike any other for a "mom and pop" type establishment like this (at least that I've found). The food is great and it doesn't take forever to get it. I've only ever had the pizza and I'm sad that I'm moving away.
