    Medium cheese pizza

Maybe my expectations were low. But this place was surprisingly good. We came because we needed airline miles. And this is on the dining list for points. 25% off for Yelp checkin. The owner looked a little surprised that it was still there. But he honored it. No free water. Only bottled. Sodas are bottled too. We had the Italian sub lunch special. It comes with chips and a store bought cookie. We also got a medium cheese pizza. It was tasty.

I am so glad the delicious Italian pizza at Westheimer Square is still here. The name changed to Sipipa from Sicily Pizza & Pasta. I believe it's same owner. As their website says few restaurants have been branding themselves as Sipipa, so this is not new. Cashier was knowledgeable. I was able to order half and half. Half American and half Margherita. Fresh pizza needs to be consumed when it came out of oven. Because it's takeout, I drove home quickly to enjoy this yummy pizza. Price was competitive to other pizza joints. Medium size pizza was $13-ish. With the generous amount of meat, this is far better than most pizza joints I regularly visit. (Previous review from 4 years ago under the name of Sicily Pizza) I come here for really fresh pizza and calzone. I can't find them elsewhere, even at their sister stores. Friendly people working here. Clean dining room. Just remodeled recently. Love those pizza rolls great for lunch on the go.

This place has a Yelp check in for 25% off your purchase it doesn't say that you have to purchase a minimum the guy at the front treated me as if I was some peasant asking for what they advertised then he told me I had to purchase a minimum amount which doesn't seem to help check in. Please if you're going to have a promotion make sure you are following your own promotion. Other than that the pizza was good but to be honest the Philly cheesesteak half of it had steak in it and the other half was mostly empty

The pizzas here are okay. Nothing super amazing. Wouldn't come back on my own but wouldn't be opposed to eat here again.

My gripe is not with SiPiPa ... they made a awesome pizza. This was my first time but definitely not my last. I ordered a 16' pepperoni, mushroom and half pizza of jalapeños. As you can see from the picture.. the whole pizza was full of jalapeños on both sides. I had to order twice because my first order wasn't delivered due to Uber eats negligence. Not the restaurant's fault.. I also had the fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks with hot wings. All superb. My son just wasn't too happy with the jalapeños but he picked over them..

I didn't think chicken parmesan could make me sad. Nothing tasted as if it was seasoned and the chicken was mostly hard as a rock.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the food quality and service here. Sipipa stands for Sicily Pizza and Pasta. They have a great menu that offers pizza, sandwiches, and all sort of pastas (alreado, spaghetti, etc). - Vibe: new and modern. It was recently renovated. The décor is nice and simple. It's good for mall groups or solo eaters. It's located in a strip mall so don't worry about parking. - Food: We got a bit of everything for my cheat meal. I tried the alfredo, spaghetti, pizza, and pita bread sandwich. I'm so impressed with the gourmet taste of the pasta. It's rich and creamy, unlike other pizza chains. - Service: Excellent. Very fast and friendly. The owner, Ben, is very kind. He was very attentive to our needs and asked what he could do better. I really like this place. I'd recommend it to friends and family.

The staff is super friendly, and we were welcomed as we were (we had hoped to eat at a sister establishment but they sold out of what we wanted). Mimo's offers a great selection of Italian inspired apps, three well appointed pizzas, a few varied and surprising options for pasta dishes, and some mains. Items we tried: Pane - delicious Roasted Carrot Pizza - AMAZING, A little spicy, but definitely something we would order again. Pastas we ordered initially came out cold - our incredible waiter immediately corrected the issue. But from a flavor profile - Pansotti - sooooo delicious. You'd never guess that it was a vegetarian option - the mushrooms were so meaty. The delicate pouches with the spinach and ricotta were heavenly. Pappardelle - The lamb braised sauce had a depth of flavor that could rival any restaurant in Italy. My only tiny hope was that the pasta would have been served aldente, it was a little overcooked. But to each his own. Overall - really great. Would recommend. This would be great for a weeknight dinner or an off the beaten path date night.

The fresh red pepper offered at the table really kicked the flavor up a notch. Beet salad (8/10)- nice presentation. The fried cheese, tomatoes & candied pecans are a great complement to the beets and greens. Add the fresh cracked black pepper offered by the server. Seafood lasagna (8/10) - the seafood is not lacking! Its very seafood-forward. Salmon, shrimp, clams. You definitely know you are eating seafood. The cheese/seafood/pasta/sauce ratio is spot on, well balanced. It felt more like a seafood dish than a lasagna/pasta dish. My only complaint (and it's not really a negative) is I was in the mood for lasagna & after eating this dish, although it was very good, I still had a hankering for lasagna. Other: - Service in general was good. It was a slow day during my Sunday afternoon visit. - Bathrooms were well kept & had cool big mirrors in the hallway upon exiting the bathroom. - Parking in the attached garage is free. I would return again.

Brunch Review: North Italia HTX (Post Oak)…read more North Italia is one of those restaurants that never misses. Every visit is consistent, from the service to the food, which is why it's one of my favorite brunch spots. Our group was seated right away in a great location that really let us enjoy the atmosphere. While our waitress could have been a little more attentive, it seemed she was juggling several tables, so overall the service was still pleasant. We started with the Truffle Garlic Bread, and it was absolutely amazing--warm pull-apart bread with truffle oil, melted cheese, and buttery goodness. We also shared the Italian Donuts, which are their take on beignets, and they were delicious. For brunch, I ordered the Steak & Eggs and the French Toast. The French toast was unlike any I've had before--crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, perfectly sweet, and topped with fresh strawberries. It didn't even need syrup. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly. The eggs had a flavor that just wasn't for me, but the roasted potatoes with sun-dried tomatoes were excellent. To drink, I enjoyed the Rosé Sangria, beautifully garnished with strawberries and cucumber. It was sweet, refreshing, and perfect for a hot summer day. North Italia also offers a fantastic 2 for $25 special that includes an appetizer and entrée, making it a great value. Before leaving, I ordered the Bolognese to take home for my family, and it was just as delicious as expected. Overall, everyone in our group enjoyed their meals, the atmosphere was great, and the food was consistently excellent. North Italia continues to be one of my favorite brunch destinations, and I'll definitely be back. Rating: 9.5/10 Would I return? Absolutely!

As for what I had: Zucca chips: 3/5 what I received was much different from everyone else's pictures. My chips were much smaller and mostly pieces of chips. Maybe I got the bottom of the batch? The flavor was good, but because they were small and folded in on themselves, they held a lot of the oil. The oil did taste fresh though. Eggplant parm (small plate): 3/5 most cheese and very little eggplant. The flavor was good. My waitress told me it came with noodles but then no noodles came out. I know this place is popular and everyone seems to like it. I would try it one more time just to see if maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but overall I didn't think it was worth the money.

We ordered the tiramisu for dessert, and nowhere on the menu did it mention that it was served with a slice of kiwi hidden underneath the whipped cream. I'm allergic to kiwi, and because it was completely covered, I didn't realize it was there until after I had already taken a bite. I brought this to our server's attention, not because I was looking for a discount or anything free, but simply because I wanted the staff to be aware so this wouldn't happen to another customer with a food allergy. Instead, the first response I received was asking if I had read the menu, which I had. Unfortunately, the menu never mentioned kiwi being part of the dessert. What really bothered me was overhearing the conversation afterward. Our server spoke with another staff member a few booths away, and I heard comments along the lines of, "Well, he should've mentioned his allergy," and "He should've asked." It felt like the responsibility was being placed entirely on me rather than acknowledging that an undisclosed ingredient had been served. I understand that customers with allergies should communicate them whenever possible, but I also think restaurants have a responsibility to disclose ingredients that aren't typically expected, especially when they're hidden in the presentation. I've had tiramisu many times and have never encountered one served with kiwi tucked beneath whipped cream. Again, the food itself was good, and this review isn't about trying to get compensation. I genuinely wanted to help prevent a similar situation for someone else. Unfortunately, the way my concern was handled left me feeling dismissed and caused me to lose confidence in the restaurant's approach to food allergies.
